Firstly, the hotel is pet-friendly, so for us that was a priority. The location was also perfect for us, as there was an excellent park very close to the Sebel for walking the dog. There are also a number of restaurants nearby, as well as liquor shops, so either dining al fresco with the dog, or having takeaway in the room were options. Facilities for eating, cooking and drinking in the room made it a perfect place for us to stay.

Parking within the hotel is expensive, at $25/night. There were however plenty of street parking spaces nearby, which on the weekend appear to not be policed by parking inspectors.

Great Location only about 10 minutes walk to the amazing Australian War Memorial & 10 minutes drive to CBD & awesome Parliament House; Only a very short walk to wonderful dining options with delish food that’s aesthetically presented ie Asian Noodle House & Maji Japanese Cuisine; Really well equipped hotel room including microwave & washing machine; also tissues that a number of places don’t provide anymore; Heating & hot shower that both work extremely well.

The only thing is that they didn’t have any chairs on the balcony for use of the balcony & you had to take the chairs from inside. It seems to be quite common that chairs are no longer provided on balconies. What’s the point of paying more money for a balcony if you can’t use it. Taking chairs from inside is often not a good idea as they are bulky & heavy and not designed for outdoor weather.

We booked the Sebel Campbell because we wanted to bring the dog along...and it was indeed dog friendly... But it was also so much more. Clean, spacious facilities. Little kitchenette was so useful and well stocked and the bathroom was beauriful. Beds were so very comfy The staff on duty were so helpful and friendly and nothing was a bother. The area was a great surprise. Close to Anzac Parade and easy access to the city with excellent little boutique restaurants and cafes all along the block... Even managed to find a great coffee right around the corner on Easter Sunday morning. A perfect Easter gift! Lovely little park across the road for walking the pup... Oh yeah... The pup... He loved it too! So dog friendly with lots of furry friends to fuss over I have the foyer. Loved our stay Sebel Campbell. Thank you so much.

Having car parking was great, rooms were well appointed and the little kitchenette allowed for some home breakfasts. The location for our purposes was ideal

We found out on entry to the room that the King beds could be split. We have a family of four and ended up sharing one adult/one child per King but if advice on splitting the beds was available at booking, we would have requested that. Also, car parking is available but I don't think was clear until arrival. I believe it should be included in the booking explicitly or as an option, and not an add on later which added additional cost to the experience.

As far as Canberra goes, parking at this hotel is the best you can just about ask for at this price ($20 a day). Staff was incredibly professional and helpful. The room had everything you expected to have like iron, hair-dryer, microwave etc and even a washing machine. The location is also very convenient there is a bit of everything within walking distance. I also like that you can ask them to not provide room service via a QR code instead of worrying about putting up the sign.

Would have liked a hotel breakfast but no restaurant in here. Also there only being 1 elevator was very annoying in the morning when everyone is getting up and using it.

Dog friendly room, without feeling like we were pushed out for bringing a dog. Location was great near the lake (Nye fireworks) and a large park for dog walks and plays in the play ground. Lots of restaurants etc Bed was huge and comfy (took up most of the room). Well stocked mini bar, snacks etc with ok pricing. Bathroom was a good size with a nice shower.

Room was pretty small but I'll know next time to choose a bigger option. It was pretty safe for my toddler as she had plenty of space to play on the huge comfy bed. Parking was expensive, it doesn't tell you it's $25 pn until you arrive. They did however offer street parking if required. TV offered chromecast but it didn't work for me.

The room and the overall stay was standard. There is nothing exceptional about the property, although having kitchen facilities does make this hotel preferable to those who wish to cook their own meals. I wish the room was larger for the price we paid, it was slightly crowded for just 2 people. I wouldn’t recommend if you are wanting a spacious place to stay. Otherwise it’s a pleasant hotel, but I much rather Meriton Suites, especially when the price is so similar but they offer much better amenities.

Brand new hotel in a cosy, quiet residential area of North Canberra. Short walk (100m) to pub, wine bar, several restaurants & cafes. Gym (100m away). 3mins by car is the Campbell Shops where you can visit the Department of PIzza for traditional Italian pizza and red wine. Ripper! The room was smallish but the photos don’t lie and who really cares when you only staying a night or two. Thick curtains so it’s dark and quiet and the bed is SUPER comfy so we had a great night sleep. Plenty of free parking around the venue or you can park securely underneath for $25. They might even have pet-friendly rooms as we saw a couple with a dog going into a room. You don’t come here for the amenities, you come for a great night sleep and central location in short proximity to some great cafes, pubs and restaurants, and then go for a walk around the beautiful Lake Burley Griffien. We will be back.

Nothing to write about - the photos on the website are true to form & we loved the big comfy bed, TV and kitchenette while devouring pizza and red wine!

Well designed apartment hotel in a great location, close to parks, cafes and a good local pub - an ideal position for travellers. My room had a small balcony with views to parks - very nice to have fresh air. I liked the residential location - yet just a few minutes to the Art Gallery, Parliament House etc., and the Airport. I particularly like the ecologically sound features - non-plastic key cards, option to opt out of housekeeping. Large wall-mounted containers of soap, shampoo etc., in the bathroom. Room inclusions - Nespresso coffee maker & pods were appreciated. (I'd like a milk frother too, please) Good supply of crockery, cutlery, stemware and cooking pots & pans. Well stocked bar & snacks. Good work space with adequate power outlets, lighting & chair. Plenty of storage space & coat-hangers that can be removed for use. All in all a very comfortable & convenient place to stay - and I will return.

Not a complaint - but a small table & chair/s on the balcony would be nice.

I liked that so could have my dog and it didn’t add extra cost to the room. As a single traveller already paying the full fee this meant a lot to me.

Unfortunately the hotel foyer had air fresher that was so strong I couldn’t speak or breathe when i was in the reception. It was also in the lift but thankfully not in the room. I literally had to hold my breath to get in and out of the building. I did make a complaint but didn’t hear a response from the hotel. I chose NOT to stay there on the way home again because of this …
