The room was functional very clean and comfortable. Would have preferred a room with a view rather than a brick wall.

We were advised to park in the car park opposite. So we did - paid and displayed and left. Little did we know (we are from NSW) that we had parked in a very poorly marked “Government Officials” car park space (there are 6 of them now we know) and ended up with a $137.00 infringement notice. On telling reception of our misfortune - we then saw him shoot out of the hotel to move his car that he had parked in the Government Official spot - with nothing more said to us. May well be an idea to advise future guests of this ?

Spacious room with all amenities including washer/dryer, iron/ironing board. Quite room. Cafe/meals downstairs and enjoyable. Selection of ready prepared microwave meals and basic grocery items available near reception. I enjoyed the roast lamb and veg meal I chose. Close walking to shops, Hellenic Club and other eateries and a pleasant park a short stroll away . Bus interchange to Canberra City, Tuggeranong and other destinations beside carpark. Parking across the road $14 per day in back row and free on weekend.

Need to go over to carpark by 8.30 am to pay for day parking. It is a commuter carpark so can be full at various times of the day.

We found Abode Woden to be simple, clean and comfortable. Checking in was easy, though we needed to provide a card for pre-authorisation. Ample number of elevators available with minimal wait. The room and bathroom were both clean and tidy. Water pressure and temperature was fine. Not much in the way of views, but we just needed a place for the night. There is parking across the road, which is paid parking between 8:30AM to 5:30PM, and free after those hours (overnight).

The fridge was a bit too cold - it froze my dragonfruit!

This is one of two Abode hotels in the Woden town centre area. I prefer staying in this one because the rooms are a bit more spacious than in the other one. The room was well appointed. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not much. The building overall is a bit older than some of the newer Abode hotels. I believe it might have been a former office block that has been converted into a hotel. My main gripe is that the hotel doesn't have its own car park. There is a public car park (paid parking) right across the road, so that is very close but adds extra cost.

Have stayed at Abode Woden before and it is always very clean, spacious, with plenty of bathroom space. Room was bright with large windows. Kitchen area more than adequate and included a toaster which is very handy. Staff very professional and friendly, who always make you feel valued no matter how busy they are. Handy to shops and restaurants.

Didn't know Abodes were now pet-friendly in this ever-changing world until we met a very excited cross bull-terrier pup in the lift... 🧐. That said the owner was very friendly!! The parking is always a hassle here as it is paid public parking through the day across the road in a large carpark. Free parking at night. Roadworks in the area made it initially difficult for the GPS but once you have found it you're there.

All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful, including those in the inhouse restaurant. Thr food was varied, tasty and well priced, and the room itself was warm, comfortable, quiet and roomy.

I booked a room for myself and my adult son that had a double bed and a foldout couch. When we arrived we couldn't find bedding for the couch but when we asked were told it would cost another $44 to have the couch made up. This was a bit disappointing as that was not apparent on the ad, and seemed a little pricey esp as we had no choice. Not the end of the world though.

We appreciated Vicky/Team's kindness for our upgraded Executive Suite room booked on same night as our stay. Our welcoming desk greeting service with Vicky offered us... flexibly & we could simply collect shower caps on request (as we were settling in). Grateful our hotel check in stayed open until 11pm (& was available for us on same booking day). Bed was extremely comfy for us and lovely to have quiet space to enjoy morning Yoga before check out. - Walking distance to shops. - Washing machine and dryer in the room was very useful. - Restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. - Front desk staff lovely and welcoming. - Curtains blacked out the room well which allowed our children to have solid naps.

- No kitchen scissors. - No hand towel for bathroom (we used washers to dry our hands) - Two bath mats would have been great. We ended up grabbing another one. - No fan in bathroom made for a foggy mirror.

The location is great, the hotel staff are friendly, and the staff at the restaurant downstairs were exceptional.

No on-site parking available, only public open air pay parking across the road with no guarantee that there will be space available. Also, the csrpark across the road is split between all day parking a 4 hour time limited parking with only little signs on lamp posts to delineate between the two. It's quote easy to accidentally park in the 4 hour part when you should bebin the all day part.

All amenities were as advertised. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with lovely toiletries and fluffy towels. It was great to have a kitchenette - convenient (First time I've ever put an ice pack in a bar freezer and had it actually freeze !) I was impressed that there was a washer/dryer included in the facilities...very helpful. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

No parking...I might have missed that bit of info when I booked though. (There is parking across the road and we lucked out in travelling on a weekend, as there is no fee on weekends or public holidays.) I also didn't check the configuration of the beds so we ended up with 2 single beds plus bunk beds. It was only one night so no real dramas.
