The room was very comfortable with a nice soft bed and pillows. The bathroom was sufficient with a strong shower head and the water was hot with plenty of flow in the shower. The Smart TV was a bit dated but the room does have Foxtel including all the Fox Sports channels which was an added bonus. Heating wasn't needed on our nights stay as the room stayed warm throughout the night without turning on the air-conditioning system. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the facilities were good.

The two bottles of water in the fridge were the only bottles of water provided in the room and they were not free of charge (not included in the room fee) and cost $4.00 each for a small 600ml bottle. Smart TV was dated and needs updating to a newer model and larger screen. Lastly we attempted to check in slightly early before the 2pm time and unfortunately we were not able to get into our room around an hour early. We went for a drive and came back around 230pm and were greeted and handed our room key.

The price of a small bottle of water at $4 is very costly. Most hotels put this as a complimentary thing for guests.

The buffet breakfast was well below parr. No eggs, coffee cold and lots of other things well below the standard we had here last year.

This is our regular stay in Canberra. It’s a budget motel so not five star however it’s very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. Good value with pleasant surroundings, quality beds and linen and friendly staff. Whilst not in the centre of the city it is very easily accessed by car yet relatively quiet. The major tourist attractions are not far away. We enjoy dining at the German Club next door. There is a pool, gym and plenty of parking.

My only grumble is the quality of the food at breakfast. There is plenty of variety in both hot and cold options. However be aware that the food itself isn’t at the standard of other establishments and the staff don’t replenish empty dishes or check hot water/coffee until you ask. Having said that the breakfast is adequate, it isn’t the most important factor for us and we keep returning.

Whilst not in the city centre this location suits our needs. It is easy to access by car from the bypass and the road system facilitates moving around the city. Parking is plentiful. The rooms are as pictured, very clean and comfortable. Good bed, pillows, linen, towels. Excellent value for money in Canberra. We stay a couple of times a year and really enjoy the atmosphere and food at the German Club next door. (Not noisy) Breakfast offers a large variety of options and is perfectly adequate. However the quality of the food is debatable, just okay not delicious. The hotel grounds are attractive and the pool area nicely landscaped. We always look forward to our visit.

The rooms were clean and presentable and the staff were lovely. The fridge in one of our rooms wasn't very functional and keep thing slightly cool at best.

The pool wasn't very clean , there was a lot of algae build up on the rocks which made it quite slippery And it wouldve been nice if the restaurant functioned over the weekends for dinner too not just the Monday to Thursday ( it wasn't operational for dinner at all over our stay even though we arrived on a Wednesday) The buffet breakfast was also mediocre for the pricing , a nice selection but basic

I requested ground floor room and I got one. The proximity to the car park was also catered for. The room was spacious enough to accommodate all the paraphernalia I needed to assist my partner with her mobility issues. The abundance of power outlets was also really appreciated. My partner really liked the shower head. The heating worked well, and that really counts when the nights in Canberra can get rather chilly. The ease of access to the property was great for traffic flow. The buffet breakfast was well worth my including it with my booking.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very noisy. When we travel, my partner and I prefer to leave the bathroom light on and the door slightly ajar so that the small sliver of light helps prevent us from tumbling over of fumbling in the dark when we need to use the toilet. In this instance, that was out of the question.

My spouse and I loved the pool at the hotel, the smokers area was an added bonus to us, and it was convenient having a shortcut from the pool area to the parking lot. There is plenty of free parking, both shaded and open, and the rooms were clean and decently sized for the price.

My partner and I had the breakfast service included with our stay. One of the staff during our breakfast service was quite rude, and both my partner and I were quite taken aback by how she spoke to us in comparison to the other guests. We did miss the 'please wait to be seated sign', however the receptionist had checked us in and told us to help ourselves. Whilst we understand we may have been in the wrong, we found her to be quite unnecessarily short with us. All other staff were lovely, and I would recommend this hotel if you were looking for something comfy and reasonably priced, that was our only setback.
