The view from our studio room was fabulous even though it was very wet and stormy. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were able to offer an upgrade at reduced price. The Hotel has a good drinks and meal menu and we were there on $25 Steak night with a drink included. I look forward to staying again.

As it was a very rainy evening it was not possible to enter the pub/restaurant area internally so we had to take our chances with a short and quick walk from the "pub" to the accommodation wing. Also want to say that having a row of hooks for raincoats once inside the unit would be great in rainy or very cold weather.

The bed was super comfortable. Room was large, but really nowhere to put clothes away. Excellent that parking was available and underneath so easily accessible. I booked 2 rooms of the same but the other room my son was in was double the size and had plenty of cupboards so not sure why there was a difference in rooms. I think they had ocean view as well as mine didn't.

No drawers and very small tiny hanging space for clothes in my room. Not much water pressure in the shower which meant it took a really long time to wash my hair. The two rooms booked were in different buildings. Closer together would have been great, but understand this is not always easy to achieve.

Dinner took a long time to arrive Staff members were rude in the bar I ordered a cocktail and it took 25 minutes to arrive and the bar man was rude he said Nothing unusual for it to to take this long after I realised it was actually 45 minutes to arrive waiter he said yeah and you will wait for another 15 minutes and didn’t even bother making it on the spot after 1 hour and 20 minute wait I had to complain again and it finally arrived Dumpling and pizza section poor customer service and food presentation to pay $26 to get raw dumpling no sauce nothing and spring rolls with nothing on the side no sauce. Then when I wanted to order chicken wings they had no more chicken wings and coffee was only half full so the restaurant staff members were a disappointment. Seafood was exceptional The apartment was amazing breathtaking views and the staff members were excellent and very friendly and helpful

The hotel is in an excellent and picturesque location with stunning views and 25m from the beach. Only a short drive from Sydney too which was a bonus. The restaurant serves an excellent breakfast and the bed was so comfy I wanted to take it home. We had lovely walks along the beach and the local restaurants were great too - check out the South Sailor

I just felt it was a little over priced for what it was. $1K a night for a 2bed is a little too much and next time I'll Air BnB. We also had no beach towels as they ran out so we were given white bathroom towels which for the beach is very glary and too small. The Pool is too small for the numbers and it was a human soup so we didn't swim. The Pub was awesome for breakfast but the dinner menu was just ok and should be better. The dumplings were forgotten so after we finally received them they were flavourless and dry - should have listened to the message from the gods and cancelled them. Seriously though - how hard is it to make a tasty dumpling - these looked like microwaved supermarket dumplings.

We booked two one bedroom apartments for family staying to attend a function at Headlands. The friendly, helpful staff at reception ensured an excellent first impression. Secure parking and access to our room was very good. Our apartment was attractive and comfortable, the bed especially so. It was quiet, being on the western side, we didn't book seaviews but did enjoy our view through the pine trees towards the escarpment. We loved the wide balcony with outdoor furniture. The apartment provided all we needed, although I would have like a better supply of pots, pans and microwave containers. Our children enjoyed the pool and close access to the beach. The views from the bistro/lounge areas are beautiful.

Minor considerations: It is expensive so considering the price I would have expected better towels. Pots and pans for the stove are very limited and there are no containers suitable for the microwave. Our room was "serviced" but tea bags etc not replenished. Our group of 30+ was underwhelmed by the quality of food served at lunch in the bistro.

The view was excellent, the location perfect and the size of the North East Penthouse was fabulous. The beds were comfortable. The receptionist who checked us in on Friday afternoon was lovely and friendly and so was Gemma from the restaurant. We also loved the pool and the surrounding area, including the lounges at the Bar at the southern end of the building.

The penthouse could do with a good steaming clean of the lounge and carpet to remove the stains. The outdoor sunbeds needed replacing and 2 more sunbeds needed to be added to accommodate for 4 people who would most likely stay. The spare room only had 2 coat hangers. There was only 1 bathroom to accommodate for 4 people, which is unusual for such a large penthouse. Happy Hour was confusing with 2 different time frames. Most of the staff seemed new and inexperienced and the Cocktails didn't seem to taste like their description. We also ordered takeaway food to have in the Penthouse on Friday night but my hamburger at $29 was raw. I had to cook it in the microwave.

We arrived early but our room was ready so we were able to check in, always a nice bonus. Our room was clean and spacious. Large comfy bed a well stocked kitchenette, washing machine, free excellent WiFi, nice powerful shower with plenty of toiletries supplied. The food in the evening was excellent and reasonably priced. Lovely walking area straight out of the hotel. Overall a great place to stay and would stay again if in the area.

All was good.

Everything was found to be as advertised, a lovely very room, excellent mealsm fantasticlocation. We found only one technical problem with aire pressure betqween the room and the foyer, this differential of air pressure caused a significant high pitched banshee like sound that appeared to be related to varying wind speed during the night. We spke to management about this matter and confirmed that they were aware of the nature and probable cause and were working to implement solutions. Otherwise five stars for room, service facilitis, location and culinary excellence. Our 60 years of marrige and we enjoyed every minute of our stay, excluding the aire presure problem.

There was nothingh to complain about excluding the previously mentioned air pressure problem, that could be resolved by replacing leaking door seals.

Great apartment lots of room and it has everything you need. Great apartment for families as well. Very comfortable bed! Easy access in and out of the garage.

Rooms 1-11 are not ocean view as you would expect at booking. Advertising is misleading. We paid for an ocean view room online accompanied by a photo of an ocean view from the 3rd floor. We could see the ocean sort of. We were given a ground floor room - pretty annoying for almost $500/night.

We loved the hotel's location perched on the cliff with spectacular views from our verandah. The sea view room and it's balcony was spacious. The room had a well contained kitchenette with beautiful appliances, and decent sized bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. The bar and restaurant were easy to access and a short walk away. The views from the restaurant and outside deck were spectacular. Hearing the surf breaking from the beach below was great too.

A very little negative was the dust on the salt and pepper shakers. It was obvious they hadn't been cleaned or used in a while.
