Gréât location just 5 minutes drive to Byron Bay centre, the hotel is nestled in the rainforest. The main building houses the restaurant, bar, pool and spa and the accommodation areas are short walks from there. Breakfast was a highlight - excellent food and great service from friendly attentive staff. We booked a Treetops Luxe Suite which was lovely. Well fitted out with a small kitchen including a washer/dryer, and coffee machine and nicely laid out living area and bedroom. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach was another bonus. And best of all - free yoga class outdoors every morning…
The menu at the bar was quite limited and happy hour options not so good given the prices.

Rooms were excellent and superior quality in a beautiful and relaxing setting Service from all staff was friendly and courteous
The food offering in the hotel was limited for a 5 star hotel and not very appealing. We chose not to eat at the hotel other than poolside snacks and drinks Seats at pool were taken by residents who put towels out early and then left the pool area - resulting in no seats or loungers if you arrived mid morning

This was a unique resort set in the rainforest and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was excellent. We were upgraded to the Cypress building and it felt luxurious and roomy. If we were staying longer it had all of the amenities that you could wish for and could easily cater some meals for ourselves. I would love to come back for longer. The pool, bar and restaurant were great with our evening meal was especially delicious.
Unfortunately the board walks through the centre of the resort were closed for maintenance. You do have to watch your step on the timber boardwalks and I can’t help wonder if it might be worth changing the product from timber to a more modern composite or these boardwalks will continue to be problem.

The bed was so comfortable. I often have trouble sleeping in other beds but this one was perfect. The room was nice and quiet and the surrounds of nature were so peaceful. The free yoga was a great bonus and I loved how it was held in the outdoor pavilion...felt like I was in Bali. The pool was so lovely. The food on offer was good too. Overall loved my stay and plan to return early in the new year.
The windows needed to remain open to bring in the fresh air (which was ok as it wasn't too hot), as when the room was closed up and the air conditioner on it became very musty. Some of the windows on the inside needed a good clean.

It was beautiful and relaxing. It was very clean and staff were accomodating when we asked for the single beds instead of the king bed we had originally asked for. The food at The Forest was the best food we had in Byron so will definitely recommend it
The receptionist at the beauty therapy was not very friendly, although the staff performing the beauty treatments were very kind. This is not a complaint but staff should start voluntarily ask if we had signed up for membership to receive 10% off food and drinks. That money can be used for tips and to support the workers

Where do I start my partner and I went on our honeymoon and we were looking for a special place somewhere we could unwind and relax we drove to Crystalbrook Resort and we were blown away by how beautiful the place was. We were greeted and welcomed when we arrived given the room key and off we went. We got to the room and we were spellbound it was such a beautiful room we were given and how amazing the features were big shower and bath and the bed was so comfortable room service was ok got the food fresh and hot and the bonus was they knew that it was our honeymoon so they left us a bottle of champagne for us to enjoy.
the breakfast menu could have been better and the pool was not heated which made it a bit annoying.

the accommodation was excellent quiet & surrounded by nature (rainforest & various plants) & facilities such as pool, tennis court & restaurant were very good.
It would have been better if a couple more restaurants (e.g. Chinese, Thai) to reflect the diversity of customers. Also, an extra shuttle service to the Town Centre at night would be great for those wanting to stay longer.

we really enjoyed our stay, and we celebrated our 20-wedding anniversary. Such amazing set up for this property with forest walks or just relax by the pool. 15 min to the beach. breakfast from the menu was very good and good selection.
only one thing; will be nice if staff at arrival let us know that snakes are around and watch for them more carefully while walking through the forest.

Gorgeous and peaceful location, very clean, eco friendly and well presented rooms, staff are lovely and professional, and the food was good.
I booked a service at Eleme Day Spa and I had higher expectation in comparison to the experience I received for the price I paid. We ordered room service one of the nights and the food came cold, and packed poorly causing spills of sauces etc..

The magnificent setting with the accommodations literally in the forest made it feel like you were on safari and isolated from the world making it easy to relax. From the staff to the facilities, everything is designed to be serene and calming. The food is wonderful and we could not fault anything anywhere.
It was all perfect.
