The motel was what we expected. The bed was very comfortable. Despite being busy the rooms were quiet. We had a ground level room. The parking area was secure with gates closing at set times. Entry via security number given to each room for the gates. The attached Thai restaurant served great food at a good price (Restaurant is operated by separate entity not the motel). There is a lift to access the upper floors should you not be able to use the stairs, a bonus not seen at other motels we have visited of a similar size.

Parking within the motel is on a first in basis, so you could be parking away from your room. The parking is tight near the rooms for larger vehicles. There is plenty of parking available. The bathroom is a little small, and the position of the mirror made it slightly awkward for shaving (minor issue).

Was a quick stay (one night). Staff were super friendly and accommodation was warm and comfortable. Only downside is room I stayed in the hairdryer wasn't the best - suggest to bring your own :) Bathroom facilities were great and it was all very clean. Would stay again. Close to all take aways, but has a restaurant onsite, just didn't want Thai food that night ;) Loved that they had electric blankets on both beds.

Hair Dryer needed replacing, but other than than nothing.

I recently stayed at the Orana Hotel in Dubbo and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm and friendly service. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, setting a positive tone for the rest of my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring I had a great night's sleep. I was also impressed by the attention to detail, from the quality of the linens to the range of amenities provided. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The food was exquisite, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. Every dish I tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was also a treat, with a wide variety of options to start the day off right. The hotel's location is ideal, situated close to many of Dubbo's attractions. I found it very convenient to explore the city and visit places like the Taronga Western Plains Zoo and the Old Dubbo Gaol. Overall, my experience at the Orana Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and great food made for a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubbo and look forward to returning in the future.

The 2 chaps (covering for the Owner's absence, I believe) were excellent and exceedingly helpful. They suggested we make the most of the Dubbo Zoo 2 day ticket. Also explained about the huge washing machine, which takes a large load. So handy when you have been travelling. The bed was comfy. Good shower & toiletries. Easy parking by room. Sheltered sitting area with TV. Walking distance (14 mins) into town centre & eateries.

For me, I found the pillow too high.

The Thai restaurant associated with the model was a disaster. At the start of the meal they provided a drinks menu. When we asked for a bottle of wine, they only had one bottle of sweet wine. The side serving of steamed rice was cold and dried out. When this was pointed out, they took the dish away and brought back the same dish but had run it under hot water. It was still disgusting. The Thai chilli beef dish had no chilli in it. They need to seriously life their game or they will go out of business.

The location was very handy, we were welcomed by a warm and friendly host, the room was very kind and spacious and comfortable, our family took advantage of the pool, it was cool as it was Autumn time, but still refreshing. The Thai restaurant attached to the motel was a bonus, we didn't have to venture out for dinner after a big day travelling and the food was amazing.

Very comfortable! Bed was amazing in the king room we booked, super comfy! very clean, great location, whisper quiet aircon! Which was fantastic for me as I’m a light sleeper!

Nothing really to report, but if I was being super picky! This room has had an refurb, why why why do people still use individual shower taps, they should have installed a mixer tap, water pressure is just ok, a mixer would have made it so much easier to get the desired temperature consistency! Anyway first world issue, so not really a problem.

The shower is one of the best I've ever had. Strong, hot water. Makes all the difference. Clean room. Well-signed and great instructions sms to us, so you know where to park and access the property. Warm room with the aircon on when we arrived was so kind and a nice touch - made the room cosy and comfy on a freezing cold night. 2nd stay here and will be back.

Fantastic motel, friendly and very welcoming staff, the rooms were very well appointed, extremely clean and tidy, very spacious, the toilet and shower was clean tidy, good pressure hot showers, pillows and beds extremely comfortable, our family of 5x were extremely comfortable, slept very well after a long day at Dubbo zoo on our trip Sydney to Perth. We would definately stay here again and would recommend this to others.

Nothing - other than we didn’t stay long enough!

Very morden styled room with great simple decor. Comfortable king oversized bed. Very clean, tidy and decent sized room. Great water pressure in the shower. Air conditioned room. Lots of Power point's around the room for our convenience. Vending machines available in the complex. Plenty of free parking available to choose from (also electric car charging stations if needed). Staff very polite and helpful. Fresh towels everyday. Instant coffee and tea provided in the room. A lift if needed to get to the 2nd floor rooms. A swimming pool. Cameras for security on the property. Block out blinds in the window to have a bit of a sleep in. Netflix included in our room. Over all a beautiful place to stay and would definitely stay again in the future.

Breakfast wasn't included. Although it was available for an additional payment per person, per day it would have been a little bit more value for money if included in the price we paid. $50 between the both of us each morning is a bit rich for us. There was no phone in our room to call even if we wanted to book in for breakfast or if we had any issues. (Didn't realise till our check out morning that there wasn't a phone that we could see. If seen earlier, I'm sure that Garry and Sharon would have fixed this issue for us if we had spoken to them about this) Other than these small issues, I would definitely stay here again, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!
