We travel & stay at Motels a lot & the Matilda although an older Motel had everything I think all Motels should have. Close to town & food outlets. We had a standard room as we were only spending 1 night on our way back to Sydney. Clean, comfy bed with all facilities - mirrors (yeah the room we had the night before didn't have one🤪) aircon much appreciated during 40+ temps, fan, chairs & a table, microwave, hair dryer, empty fridge not filled with products to buy, an empty wardrobe not filled with blankets so you can't hang your gear without emptying it first - basic but so many Motels can't achieve this ☹️ Reception was efficient and friendly. I know where we will stay when next in Dubbo.

We are recreational flyers - party of 4 nd due to bad weather landed at Dubbo. This property was recommended to us by our taxi driver and we were very happy with our stay. As we walk we were able to walk down town and look around as we were only there for 1 night . very comfortable will place hotel on our flying app for convenience

Bathroom was a little small - my partner is 6'3" and had to duck to get in the shower. Limited space in that room. Also looked like our room had been given a new tv as stations were not programmed and had difficulty getting the settings going - not a major just for info only.

This was our first time taking my 6yo daughter away with us she is autistic and she found herself comfortable and seemed like she made herself at home straight away when she walked in the room it was great being on ground floors I was able to leave my partner with my daughter head outside for a smoke and feel safe in my car parked directly outside the door during the night was very soundproofed with only hearing very few things when outside during the night my daughter being one with her iPad on full volume during the night knowing that others wouldn’t be bothered by how loud my daughter was as she doesnt understand keeping her volume down with her disability. The room had a double bed and single bed a fridge and kettle and toaster, the shower had good pressure

Possibly could of been a little cheaper for budget but was just manageable for us

The room was large and clean and had everything we needed. The staff were awesome and friendly and went above and beyond. My kids loved the pool. It had an attached restaurant but we didn't eat there. KFC is about 20 steps from the property as is Hungry Jacks.

In the picture, it looks like a nice little courtyard with a pool but in fact, the pool is just off the main road in their carpark and doesn't look anywhere near as nice as it does in the picture. A minor thing but worth noting.

Location is excellent with Chinese restaurant next door and multiple fast-food outlets within 5 minutes’ walk. Centrally located to the main shopping district of Dubbo including Old Dubbo Jail a very easy walking distance away. The rooms are well equipped plus a microwave that I was able to put to good use preparing my meals and it is good to have a proper table and chairs to sit at also. Bathroom is quite narrow but the shower is big and plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. The motel is easy to find in Darling Street just off the main highway and very quite at night no traffic noise at all and plenty of off street parking. All the staff are very friendly and helpful also. I would stay there again next time I'm in Dubbo.

The toilet roll holder in my room needs to be turned around the other way or upgraded to prevent the roll falling off when in use!

Location, easy parking. Having liquid body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower and hand soap, moisturiser and shaving cream dispensers at the sink

*Where the toilet roll holder is located, diagonally behind you. Hard to reach and not great with a bad back. *No bottled water supplied or cold water kept in the fridge. *Hard to put water in the Kettle in the bathroom sink (lower profile Kettle needed or taller tap spout)

Comfortable bed very clean, close to all the fast food outlets, short walk to Main Street

Very odd shape room everything on an angle. No bench space only one small one for suit case, small round table so close to bed, the fridge door when open almost touched the bed. Very small bathroom with odd shaped shower. Hot water took almost 10 minutes to come through

Management are super nice n helpful. Spacious family/group room. Awesome shower. Pool is beautiful.

Fan isn't so easy to get working. You actually think it is broken. Definitely needs some revamping. Mattress is great to sit on, but not soft enough for a great sleep for this plush mattress sleeper.

Everything, it was close to all facilities, hospital for day only treatment & Dentist. very comfortable & clean & having a restaurant in the Motel was wonderful. we could have a couple of drinks & walk a small distance to our room. The menu was extensive & amazing. We had the Meat platter for 2, which was beautifully flavoured & tender. My husband has stayed often, years ago & said we should stay. so glad we did & we will stay again in the near future. 

not a thing really, except the girls didn’t come back to see if we wanted more drinks, & we had to really try to catch there attention as they were walking through.

Competitively priced for a holiday stay in Dubbo so we could visit Western Plains Zoo - 1 adult and 6 kids comfortably accommodated. Beds comfortable, pool excellent for cooling down and entertaining on 40°+ days.

Some bugs we needed to deal with inside the room, but not terrible.
