Clean, homely, comfortable, well appointed, cosy, relaxing
It’s not really an issue at all, we were very happy with our stay, more aesthetically speaking, the room was quite modern, but the bathroom although spotlessly clean was a little dated and if it were to be modernised it would make the place absolutely top notch.

Mike's a true gentleman, very helpful and runs the Tasman like a well oiled machine. Excellent location across the road from the Dubbo club. 5 mins into town. Rooms are spacious and parking is plentiful, even for rigid trucks and vans. I couldn't hope for a better place in Dubbo.
I accidentally left my SSD hd plugged into tv, hoping to get it mailed back to me. Unfortunately someone needed it more than me. It wasn't staff, probably guests that stayed the next day. Where's your common decency, hand it in to the manager, please.

We had a large, spacious, nicely laid out room. The smart TV was a good size. There were comfortable sitting arrangements with a suitable table. The bed was comfortable, and the toilet and shower arrangement clean and comfortable
The only disappointment was that the curtains would not close, and it was impossible to be private without climbing up and making a temporary arrangement to keep them closed. There's possibly a half hour's work for a handyman, and the room would then have rated fully excellent

Large comfortable room, with a small lounge and table and chairs. Large bathroom. Very clean. Great location, close to the zoo. We would definitely stay there again when visiting the zoo.
My only issue was that I like to get back mid afternoon and relax with a bit of reading outside. There was nowhere outside the unit to sit except a very small table right in front of the cars. However, there is a barbecue area next to the pool, and as everyone else was still out, I had that to myself, so I was happy. Not very close to the room though.

Looking for a place to stay for athletics - this accommodation is 5 minutes from the track. 5 minutes from the zoo. Close to the CBD. Woolies and Coles were less than 5 minutes away. It was quiet and roomy. I am very fussy about the beds I sleep in and my bed was sincerely really, really comfortable! The shower was ala amazing - love, love love the water pressure! Easy onsite parking (always a bonus) and, little complimentary milk on arrival for my much-loved tea/coffee. Aircon was super cold for the 40+ degree weekend we spent in Dubbo. Welcome staff on arrival, and great communication post stay too. Blessings and thanks

I and my family had a last minute trip to Melbourne, so this was a perfect half-way point for the drive. Mike is a champion. The room I had selected and already paid for, was an upstairs room. Mike was concerned for my children who are all under 5. Mike changed our room to downstairs right in front of the driveway for our convenience, since we were only staying for 2 hours rest. Thanks Mike and staff. The family room had plenty of room for 3 single beds, a dining table, kitchen, large fridge, cupboard, tv cabinet and tv. 1 Main Bedroom with a queen bed and cupboards. Bathroom with toilet, shower, and long bench. 5 stars 🌟
We only had a few hours to stay due to our rushed trip. Wish we could stay a few days, this room was perfect!

Great place to stay at, 5 minutes from the zoo, 1 minute to Club dubbo, close to fuel and grocery stores. Very well maintained and cared for by the owners Tracey and Mike(apologies if I got mike's name wrong) Close to most places to visit too, Laundry and brekky options are awesome. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
Road noise of trucks driving at night, but it didn't bother anyone of us, light sleepers should request rooms away from the front

The staff were amazing and very helpful, they changed our room to a ground floor room because my wife had a knee brace and back brace on and was unable to climb the stairs. The parking was excellent, and the laundry facilities were a God send at that point in our travels. The room was spacious and comfortable, we had 3 adults and 2 children. I would not hesitate to stay at this motel again if we were ever in Dubbo. Thank you for taking care of us.

One of the standout features of my stay at the Abel Tasman Motor Inn was the exceptional customer service provided by the gentleman who checked me in. His genuine friendliness and welcoming demeanor immediately set a positive tone for my stay. Not only did he efficiently handle the check-in process, but he also went above and beyond by taking the time to highlight key places of interest on a map. His insightful recommendations helped me navigate the city and make the most of my visit, ensuring that I didn't miss out on any of the must-see attractions. His personalized touch truly made me feel like a valued guest, and I greatly appreciated his efforts in making my experience memorable. The Abel Tasman Motor Inn's strategic location made it the ideal base for exploring Dubbo and its renowned zoo. Situated conveniently close to the city's attractions, including the zoo, it allowed for easy access to all the wonderful experiences Dubbo has to offer. This saved time on commuting and maximized the time I could spend enjoying the sights and activities. Whether it was a day at the zoo or exploring the city's other attractions, the inn's proximity played a pivotal role in making my trip enjoyable and stress-free.
The door had a small gap in the top and the bottom which made noise and early morning traffic a bit of a problem.
