We had a 1 bedroom king bed suite which was a great size, nice bathroom, well equipped kitchen,dining table and lounges. Also had a small seating area outside overlooking the tennis court. Lovely quiet room away from traffic noise, 50m walk to the Golf Club and very central for sightseeing and shops. We could also park right outside our door. We would stay here again.

Even though the bedroom and lounge room had air conditioners, I found the bedroom one hard to adjust to the right temp and really think a ceiling fan in the bedroom would make it more comfortable. The pillows could be better.

Location and value for money

We found that there were no cleaners on staff, and that there was a contracted cleaning company. Our experience in the room was that it was not as well 'cleaned' as it should have been. For example, the shower gel was empty, floors had not been vacuumed properly, shower grout had mould. Apart from the cleaning, we could not really fault the room.

The staff are wonderful and can not do enough for you. The facilities are great. I am a repeat customer and still will be, despite being a little disappointed this time around.

Sadly, I feel like I got the crap room. I have made the same booking many time and never scored a room this tired and forgotten (and outside of the smokers spot- yuk!) Housekeeping was disappointing. It consisted of the bed being pulled up. That was it. Please leave the bed if you have to and prioritise taking the rubbish bin and providing clean mugs etc.

The overall service and comfy within the rooms. I like the space and the bathroom was superb and new. The toilet door needed to be smaller so we could fit in the toilet when we wanted to use it, width wise, but saying that it was one of the best places we stayed in in Dubbo. I will visit this place again..

Just to replace toilet door for a smaller one so we can fit in there when we need to go..

We really liked the location of the motel and it has good facilities. Receptionists were really lovely and very organised and had everything ready and I had not long booked it on line and they made it fast and easy .

I did not like the house keeping staff member who was assigned to clean our room apon our departure because I was aware check out was 10am and i had already cleared this with reception and in my booking but house keeper showed up knocking on our door just before 9am wanting to clean the room .. we were still in bed as we had a late night and been travelling so I asked her to come back later as check out is 10am .. she did come back later - 15 minutes later knocking again so that just ruined my relaxing morning as we fell pressured to hurry and leave . That nearly ruined the whole stay . Clearly she wants to get her rooms done so she can go home .

Ease of check-in and check-out and booking the restaurant at reception. Friendly staff. Outlook over the golf course.

Reception didn't explain that booking the restaurant didn't automatically mean that the meal would be charged to the room. We assumed that it was, and restaurant staff had to chase after us to pay the bill. We were told "don't worry, it happens all the time" but if it happens all the time why don't they fix it?

The room was very clean and comfortable.. The microwave and electric jug worked well, we didn't use the toaster but it was provided. The mugs were a decent size, which may seem trivial, but it's nice to get a decent cup of tea! The shower was great, good water pressure and really hot water. We had requested a ground floor room and that was no problem. The motel is situated close to parks and within walking distance to the zoo. We enjoyed walking along the river and seeing the abundant bird life.

Nothing, we were more than satisfied.

Bed was very comfy, air conditioning was great, comfy chairs. Parking at the front of the room.

Shower wouldn’t turn off properly, had to face shower head into tiles so it would run down wall not run onto floor tiles all night which was noisy and annoying. Specifically requested a ground floor room at time of booking due to disability but was allocated an upstairs room. Staff did change this when I requested it to be changed.

The location was great for us, the room was clean, the staff were lovely, the bed was comfy and the restaurant was nice

It was raining quite heavily when we stayed and there was a pipe outside our room that was overflowing water all night. It sounded like a shower running all night which was a bit disruptive to our sleep.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming us.

Just a small request. We are short of the mug as we are coupled, and we only had 1 mug and 1 milk with 1 spoon to make coffee. It's makes it easier if the facility prepares everything according to the number of people who booked the room. It's a compliment to improve a little things with your valuable services.
