This property was fantastic for kids. The pool, the playground and how close it is to the zoo! The included bbq on the balcony of the cabin was a game changer for us! And the great air con in the bedrooms was fabulous given the weather getting down to zero overnight. We have stayed in numerous Discovery Parks and this has been our favourite yet!

Some of the features in the cabin aren’t very small child friendly, especially the cabinet under the tv. It was the perfect height for our 1 year old to keep getting his head on the corner. But other than this, nothing!

The activities organized for the kids were great, staff were really friendly and helpful, and the park felt safe and secure at all times.

The beds weren't the best for someone who had back issues as it didn't have the support for that. Otherwise pretty understandably ok. On new years eve we were told to keep it down by 11pm when we really trying to stay pretty quiet. I guess being from Sydney we didn't think it would be that quiet but again understandably with the area being smaller town it was very quiet and I guess echoes easily.

We had such a great time during our stay—it was the perfect getaway! The kids absolutely loved it and had a blast, especially at the water play area, which was definitely their favorite spot. Value for money The location was another big plus. Being so close to Dubbo Zoo made our visit there super easy, and the observatory was a nice bonus for something a bit different. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again!

While we don’t have any major complaints, we would like to share a couple of minor suggestions for improvement: it would be great to have more double or twin beds instead of bunk beds, and we noticed that the air conditioning didn’t reach all the rooms. These are just small points for consideration and in no way detracted from our overall experience.

The heated pool, the friendly staff, food and ice cream and coffee on site, good facilities, good location, incredible late check out options, movies..

The air con unit in our 3 bedroom cabin 31 stopped working and it was freezing! Reception gave us extra blankets but we froze. It was hard to sleep. I ended up cuddling the children in bed to keep warm. There was no technician on weekends. I think it would be worth investing in one. The park was fully booked out so the next users on Monday would have suffered too.

What a fantastic family getaway at Dubbo Discovery Park! The kids were in their element with the endless fun – pedal carts, swimming pools, splash park, and the massive jumping pillow. There was always something to keep them entertained! The BBQ kitchen area was top-notch, perfect for cooking up family dinners. To top it off, they even had an ice-cream van that drove around the park a few times a day – such a treat for everyone, yum! We stayed in a 2-bedroom cabin, and it was spotless and well-appointed – definitely a 10/10! We’ll be back for sure, and we highly recommend this park to anyone looking for an amazing family vacation spot. Thanks for the great stay!

The bed was so soft and SO comfortable. Everything we needed was in the cabin we needed (to cook with and keep warm/ cool). The play area for the kids was a big winner with the little one and she even made some friends with other kids staying there.

Sadly someone did a #2 in the kids water park and heated pool part so it was closed for an entire day and was not able to be used. . No discount was offered or any other perks. We paid to use the go cart bikes instead to have something to do that Saturday with it being closed.

The cabin was spacious and well equipped. Excellent price for our short stay in Dubbo. Plenty of room for 3 adults and a toddler. The ensuite bathroom was great. Perfect location for our trip to Dubbo Zoo and only a short drive to the Town centre and shops. Although we weren't able to use the park facilities due to time constraints I felt that the areas would be ideal in warmer months.

Attention to detail with the cleaning of the unit was not great. I had to mop the lino floors shortly after we arrived as they were quite dirty and sticky. With a not quite 2 years old cleanliness of the floors was quite important. Perhaps a good clean of the rooms after check out would be something to improve on. Doesn't look like the beds have been pulled out and cleaned under for some time

The cabin was a perfect size for what we needed, basic kitchen tools and cooking equipment hit the spot. LOVED the bunks were solid and secure not flimsy and metal. The cleaner had standards and made the whole experience sooooo much better, everything was clean, well lit and easy to not stress after arrival.

The little bathroom accessories like the shampoo, conditioner and body wash was a disappointment we had to ask for more. We were not able to connect to the wifi. The soap in the toilet was cheap and crap. The recycle air unit needs to be cleaned

We liked there was a pool for the kids, a bbq area and how close it was to the things we had planned. We also liked the cabins have cooking facilities and a good size fridge

Sadly the first cabin we were in had problems with doors not closing properly, the fan banging on the roof, the stove top dirty, dishes dirty (left from previous occupants to clean), the windows had prints over them. We were moved the next day to an upgraded cabin which was much smaller...

Was close to a lot of things which we didn't know at first. The cabins were so spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Best cabin to date we've stayed in for comfortability and price. Will definitely be back, but most likely in Sumner, the Winters there are crazy cold. We loved it though.

The gate. My husband installs gates like this and wondered why it was so slow with a big motor and hinges on it haha. We didn't mind though, had to laugh about it. All in all, we loved your park and would give it 6 stars if we could :-)
