The location was great. The room and bathroom were spacious. We were glad there were extra pillows and a blanket in the wardrobe . The buffet breakfast was very good . Mantra had a fine selection of teas and beverages and the staff were very accommodating to our large group at breakfast. Having access to the kids play room was very good for families. The view of Albury from the room on the 7th floor was great.

There was an ongoing (electric?) buzzing noise on the top floors that we did get used to by the second night. Bottled spring water in the mini fridge would have been nice ,although you could ask for a large glass bottle of water from downstairs at the bar. We did not locate any slippers & robe in the room. All other aspects of our stay were great .

Close to town, nice little view, all the basics covered

Glass bathroom door…very heavy to pull across. Very basic amenities though little fridge was good. Only 2 English teabags for 2 days, can’t stand earl grey but had to revert to that (as it was Easter nothing was open Friday)first world problems I know. Also wasn’t told about the parking situation when booking (perhaps I missed it on the booking.com site) but had to park in a park that wasn’t easily accessible and I worried about the safety of our hire car. Also, again perhaps my fault for not checking when booking, but restaurant not open fri or sat night on a weekend when a lot of albury was closed.

We upgraded to a king suite. Large comfy sofa in the living area, beautiful bathroom, second toilet and really nice bedroom. Although we didn't require room service, the friendly house keeping staff spoke to me in the lobby asking if I needed anything on the way through. ... So polite and very keen to make sure our stay was comfortable. Buffet breakfast was nice.

We arrived on a public holiday (not realising) Upon check in we received a text msg saying we could eat in the bistro with a 10% discount on meal. Asked front desk for reservation only to be advised on public holidays that the restaurant is closed. This is understandable, but auto text app needs to be on par to avoid miscommunication etc.

I liked that I could select two single beds in the room. The room was modern and well layed out. The bathroom was modern and clean. I liked that the room had an ironing board, Iron, kettle and coffee as I used them all

The integrated TV is bloody soooo slow to perform and simply awful. The TV itself is brand new, looks like a million bucks, positioned in the room perfectly but the interaction with it is crapp and doesn't work and in the end I could not make any use for it. Why have an expensive product like that on the wall plus the operating cost for the custom software associated with it if it cant work as a TV?

Good location, breakfast had a good range of food, room was good with a nice view.

I booked a room and expected a car park for the money I paid. I then had to park in another car park which was pretty ordinary and hard to get to. If you book a room then we should have a car park available for us. Also got told by staff that the car park that I used was connected to the hotel, which was not correct. I think the staff need some more training, and this aspect put a damper on my impression of the premises.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Could have known more about eating places on Sunday night. Did not have breakfast at hotel as met friends elsewhere. Location was central and easy to find. I requested a room with disabled access and car space. The car space was taken so used electric car spaces close to lift as these were out of order.

The fact that we could not reserve a disabled car space. Proximity to lifts was essential. Understand you allow people travelling with dogs to stay on certain floors. Not great catching lifts with several dogs which was the case when checking in.

Very Nice modern and clean room, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom in studio apartment. basic tea and coffee provided with cutlery and crockery. I arrived early and was fortunate my room was available early which was great. Restairant when open offered barista coffees and light toasted sandwiches to order if not wanting to eat the buffet breakfast. TV doesn't have streaming services avail or fox but it does have a mirror share app feature for you to stream on to the TV from your own devices using thier free wifi! very quiet and had a very comfortable stay. Staff were all very polite and helpful when needed.

my stay wasn't for happy reasons just needed somewhere Comfortable while family member was in hospital. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open on sunday the day I arrived, therfore just flying in & being at hospital most of the time meant no option for me to order room service which was disappointing.. as wasn't aware of that, but reception suggested using a food delivery service eg door dash which was helpful and quick.saved me from having to go back out on my own when it was late.

Only 10min by foot to the train station and on the edge of the CBD area. Plenty of breakfast locations in local area as well. Layout of the room with bed and electricity sockets well though out (you could charge your phone easily by the bedside). The bed was comfortable and not overloaded with pillows. Staff were helpful to answer questions like explaining the randomly sent restaurant voucher I received. I appreciated the lack of a minibar and the ability to fill the kettle from the 'kitchenette sink'

The room felt stuffy till I adjusted the aircon. The dinner service at the 6 day a week (closed Sunday)restaurant, has mismatched drink and food service (got the alcoholic drinks immediately but felt the food took forever) While a central location it does get a bit eerie at night when routes to Dean st are laneways or featureless walls (like the target building).

The staff were very considerate and helpful. We checked in later than expected (8:45 p.m.) due to traffic issues on the Hume HWY and then eating dinner before restaurants closed downtown. No hassles at all at check-in and when we saw our comfortable, clean, contemporary designed bedroom we were elated. Especially the next morning when we opened our drapes to see the charming town below and the panoramic view of mountains in the background. Breakfast that morning was amazing too! My husband is partial to moist scrambled eggs and y'all delivered on that point. Forgot to mention the bed was very comfortable and the room temperature perfect.

The only thing that was a bother during the night was the inconsistent flashing of the fire detector on the ceiling above our bed. It strobed a couple of times - best way to describe it. We were so tired, we just pulled the blankets over our heads and that solved the problem.

Enjoyed our stay. Very grateful to find dog friendly quality accomodation - very many thanks Mantra ! !!! We will certainly return as had a great stay. Good helpful check in. Great bed and room amenity. Enjoyed coffee outside on terrace of restaurant in morning, didn't need breakfast so cannot comment on that. Welcoming staff in restaurant.

The little fridge in our room didn't seem to work, a minor detail and we could have phoned reception i am sure but didn't as was a small thing.
