Lovely location with ambience and romance of olden days. Professional and helpful staff. The place has always been meticulously maintained. The use of similar facilities with Lilianfels is brilliant. Two good fine dining restaurants on-site is very convenient.
Booked a room with Valley view upstairs. The balconies are in close proximity to others with compromised privacy. Perhaps needs more privacy screen as adjacent occupants have direct vision into the room from their balcony.

Staying at this hotel is like being wrapped in a cozy blanket of luxury, with views that could make even the most seasoned traveler pinch themselves just to check if it's real. The scenery outside the window is so stunning, it's like Mother Nature hired a personal decorator. And let's talk about the rooms - they're so lovely, I half expected them to tuck me in at night and read me a bedtime story. It's like sleeping in a cloud made of marshmallows and dreams.
Imagine this: You're dining at this restaurant, staring out the window at a breathtaking view that could make even a grumpy cat crack a smile. But as you take a bite of your overpriced dish, you realize the view is the only thing that's truly worth the price tag. It's like the chef took a culinary masterpiece and decided to play a game of 'hide and seek' with the flavor. My taste buds went searching for deliciousness, but all they found was disappointment. Note to self: next time, bring a picnic basket and enjoy the view without risking culinary disappointment.

Hotel was beautiful the views from our room were amazing. Food was excellent
When we arrived at echos there was knowone on reception. We walked around looking for someone only to be told we had to go next door to the sister hotel to check in. It felt disjointed and I think there should be a member of staff in each building. Was Frustrating after a long drive. Felt there was a lack of staff generally

Outstanding views from our room which was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Perfect position for exploring around Echo Point and surrounding area
The hotel needs a deep clean. The carpets in the Lilianfels Bar were grubby, the bathroom grout in our room needed cleaning and under the tables in the breakfast area was left uncleaned - these are not things to be expected for Echoes prices

Location and views quality of services links to Lilianfels easy drive from Sydney
the restaurant is high quality and expensive which is fine. however I found that couples with small babies in the restaurant was just wrong when my wife and I were looking for a quiet exclusive experience. we would never take small babies or children to a quality resort hotel like echoes we chose the hotel because it was smaller more exclusive and boutique like. I highly recommend a no children and babies policy. leave this to Lilianfels or some other larger property.

Great location
No reception on arrival , had to utilise the sister hotel across the road, echoes was treated like an annexe which for the price was totally unacceptable. Not enough staff to attend in the restaurant, they tried hard in difficult circumstances but poor for a high quality hotel

Lovely room and view
The place has an odd atmosphere, no soul. No offence to staff who work hard but they come across as inexperienced and awkward at times especially in the restaurant but I guess that's hospitality these days in Aus. It doesn't give you that quality relaxed feel you'd expect. The food was pretty ordinary so the whole thing feels overpriced. Also allowing a crowd of people to inspect the lawn area in the morning and file past our window looking in while we were in bed was a less that perfect experience.

Lovely styled boutique hotel in a great position with the most amazing views across the valley. The best bedroom view we’ve ever had. The evening meal & breakfast was great. Could not fault the hotel. Would highly recommend.
The only thing i would say is this hotel should be for adults only. My daughter (28yrs old). Was woken up @ 4.30 am due to a crying 2yr approx. And at breakfast the mess this child made at the table !!

The view was magnificent, the location of the room with the outside terrace overlooking the garden area was absolutely delightful and the connection to the sister hotel next door, Lillianfels, was handy for accessing additional amenities and meals. The room although compact was adequate and comfortable for a couple. The dining and breakfast areas were lovely.

Lovely comfortable room with tremendous view over the Blue Mountains
The check-in process was tiresome being directed, upon arrival, by a sign stating that all check-in processing had to be completed at the neighboring sister property - advance warning would have been helpful
