The room a was nice
I didn’t like the receptionist. Questioning my stay there as a local. Then proceeding to tell me I can’t have guests over after 10pm when I was there with a guest to begin with. Then lectured me on drinking and smoking which I do neither just because I had a party to attend in the area. Also while packing my car in the morning and seeing off my partner. The receptionist chased me out to the car park to abruptly interrupt my conversation. Because he assumed I was leaving without checking out and return the key card. Also why would I when I had a bond to collect! Seriously embarrassing and judgemental

OVERNIGHT STAY ONLY- I LEFT EARLY MORNING FOR WORK, SO I DIDN'T HAVE BREAKFAST. EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN AND IN GOOD ORDER. THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. VERY PLEASANT STAY. I LOVED THE ACCESSABILITY OF THE CLUB FOR MEALS & THE UNDER COVER PARKING, ESPECIALLY WITH THE BIG STORM THAT WAS LOOMING WHEN I ARRIVED.
THE ONLY ISSUE THAT I HAD WAS THE LACK OF HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER. MY EVENING SHOWER WAS ONLY LUKE WARM, MORNING SHOWER JUST OFF COLD. A STICKER WITH DIRECTIONS FOR THE TAP IN THE SHOWER WOULD BE HANDY ALSO, AS IT IS NOT LEGIBLE ON THE TAP.

Whilst after hours check-in was not encouraged, we finally got there once my flight was delayed 2 hours and the staff were able to accommodate my needs ... but took some doing since they don't like it.
Could have agreed to an after hours check-in process more readily and without all the drama. They had their processes which is fine but since the capability is there to offer the service, especially when the room is already paid for through Booking.com, I don't see what the issue is.

Great location, most comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in. Loved the Spings Hotel.
No1 thing: there are no basic daytime privacy curtains especially for rooms facing the carpark. For such a wonderful hotel this basic and low cost extra is a HUGE downfall. Also, most out-of-towners travelling do not know the area, so such bad signposting to get there is another bad low cost oversight IMHO.

So convenient . The diggers Club right next door for breakfast lumch or dinner. You get a members discount cause your staying at the hotel . Shopping centre and town a walk away . Perfect if you need to stay to support family at john hunter . It was quiet , safe , easy parking and rooms were bigger than normal . The staff were so friendly and the manager was lovely .
Nothing I could really fault it.

Very modern and clean, spacious room with a comfortable king bed. Large bathroom with opening shutters to bedroom, wonderful spa bath, separate rain shower, toilet with a door.
Air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly, tried 21 degrees on heat setting last night but no air flow from fan on any setting, it was so stuffy we couldn’t sleep. Put air on cold setting 17 degrees on high fan for an hour and a half, the room was then very cold, we switched back to heat setting which then worked and we were able to get four hours sleep, very tired today which wasn’t ideal with a long drive from Wallsend back to the Gold Coast.

I recently stayed at Springs for a night and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is fantastic, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. The staff were very respectful and welcoming! The rooms were clean and comfortable too
I tried calling customer service for a meal but no one picked up the phone. This wasn't a huge problem since more food spots are a 10 min drive

Spent the weekend visiting family, and we stayed the night at Springs. Excellent parking, great staff and very clean. We had breakfast at the club on Sunday morning and because of this visit we will definitely come back an stay again in a month or two!
Small fridge, leaving little space for our water. We like to keep cool water in the fridge overnight and we managed 2 600ml bottles and that was about all the room it had. There was a small minibar and a few eats in the fridge - great idea, just a little small for other items

Our room was very clean and the very large bed was very comfortable. Was able to park car just outside the entrance. Lady on duty was very nice and helpful.
Bit hard to locate, on top of a car park, and coming in after sunset was difficult to find. A bit more signage would help. Restaurant is not actually on site, you have to walk along a walkway over a road to get to Diggers Club where the restaurant & bar were.

This hotel is perfect! Great quality carpet (feels good under your feet and clean!), sheets and towels wins me over, plus it’s beautiful and comfortable. Staff were so good to me (I was running late and she waited for me to get there so I could check in thank god!) this is the perfect stop driving between Sunshine Coast and Melbourne - value for money is awesome and it’s so nice to be able to relax and know everything is clean and neat and new
N/a there’s nothing I didn’t like and I’m a fussy traveler
