Lovely, compact rooms. The city view was worth paying for. High quality extras- tea bags, coffee pods, biscuits and filtered water taps with sparkling water. Downstairs bar has a small but great menu. Included breakfast (if booked) is a la carte. I enjoyed something different from the breakfast menu every day and they were all really excellent. A quiet dinner there was also very relaxing one night. Easy to eat here as a solo traveller; always felt cosy and relaxed. Staff professional and great.
If attending conferences at ICC, the big hotels are a bit more expensive but closer (Sofitel, W, Novotel). I wasn’t expecting it to rain all week so would stay closer next time! There is not an obvious direct route from Aiden to the ICC, even though it’s only a 10 min walk. No staff were able to explain how to get there by the shortest route down Murray St. (I worked out you take a shortcut through Novotel, through a carpark).

The Queen bed was wonderful for a great night's sleep! The facilities in the room, though small in size, were very good; the Nespresso machine and Rituals products and little biscuit treats made our stay special. Great planning of floorspace and facilities! There were refill stations for still/sparkling water on our floor, excellent quality. The breakfast menu was limited but very tasty. The evening menu was similar. There was a very relaxing ambience in the hotel with a quiet area for reading and working. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The Central location of the Aiden hotel is so convenient for the ferries and light rail, Hop on Bus and Darling Harbour tourist attractions. The wharf restaurants at Pyrmont bridge were just across from the hotel. Highly recommended! Thank you Aiden hotel!

Great location, felt very at home during my ten night stay. The staff were super friendly, room was immaculate, bed comfy, good aircon, I would not hesitate to stay again. Room was a bit on of the small side, but entirely functional, I had everything I needed for a ten night stay. Casting to room TV was very convenient. I also found the room to be well sound proofed, so slept really well.
No in-house laundrette facilities. For someone staying a long duration, would have been handy to have a couple of washing machines guests could use. Used their appointed laundry supplier down the street, cost around $10 per load to wash and dry.

The lady who welcomed me on the first day was nice & helped me get late checkout as well. Also, throughout my stay, I was welcomed by the very kind & friendly receptionist: "Samuel". He is very professional with his service & helped me get a few items I needed in my room. Also, he let me keep my bags at the hotel till my flight time so that I can enjoy my city tour without ant worries. When it comes to rooms, they are packed with everything you need. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were great. I loved the shower cabinet and big TV screen. In addition, they have MODA Still & Sparkling water taps available on all floors for free, which I have never seen in a hotel in Australia before! It was amazing to refill my own bottles whenever I need and the room service people also did a great job cleaning the room daily. A very elegant touch was they also have a Dyson hair dryer in the room along with a clothes steamer. The air conditioning worked nicely, and the free WiFi was fast. The hotel is literally a 5-25 minute walk to Barangaroo Avenue, Darling Harbour, QVB, and George Street's Tram, with all the cafes and restaurants that you would need. It is so close to Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House & Sydney Harbour Bridge as well. Overall, it was a fantastic stay at Aiden Darling Harbour and I loved having it as my home there for a while. I would be happy to come back soon & enjoy the beautiful stay.
Nothing.

Modern, clean and very comfortable. Great little bar downstairs and free water - sparkling/still on tap just near the lift. The proximity to the pub (Pyrmont Bridge Hotel) on the next corner (excellent place - lots of live music) and Darling Harbour is perfect. We went to a musical around the corner at the Lyric in the Star Casino and loved the convenience of the hotel for that as well. There is also a light rail station just around the corner too we discovered. The only negative is that the rooms are small but we got over that in about five minutes because everything else is a positive. Would definitely stay there again.
Rooms are small but really, so what! Everything else was just great!

I was hesitant at first that I room size was small but this small room was packed full of amenities and luxury. Every nook has wall plugs, lights, side table and other little surprises of convenience. We stay here because we had a conference nearby which means we’re out most of the day but we came back to a luxurious bed, bathroom, bathroom products by Rituals, quality coffee and tea, plus there are filtered AND sparkling water on tap on every floor. Location is right in front of the maritime museum, a very short walk to light rail, and opposite a pub. The food is also good in the lobby. Very impressed with this accomodation and will be sure to recommend and return to stay.

Aiden at Darling Harbour is located ideally, from my perspective as a business visitor to Sydney. The support staff were fantastic: attentive, courteous and helpful. The bathroom was excellent, with a very nice shower in which one can have ample water flow from both the ceiling shower and the handheld spray arm shower simultaneously. I prefer walking extensively to “shake hands” with great cities of the world, and Aiden fits the bill wonderfully in this regard. I also like to utilize mass transit for getting from, and back to, the airport and found it very easy to do so for returning to the airport on this trip. Owing to the nature of being with several colleagues and varied daily destinations, I also rented a vehicle for this trip and the parking setup, facilitated by Aiden, worked out very well and with reasonable daily cost. The boutique size of the hotel also worked very well in comparison to the overwhelm that’s possible with some of the larger neighboring hotels.
This is not meant to be a criticism, but only a forewarned-is-aware observation. I’m a tall person and some of the rooms are quite small such that the bed length is essentially the room width, and that was the case with my room. That being said, I could sleep at an angle and still get the length I needed to comfortably sleep. I had occasion to stay for one additional night at the same hotel on this trip and got a larger room with a more typical bed layout and that was great, so I know to try and book such a room for future visits.

This is an excellent location just across from the Pyrmont Bridge with good options to connect across the Harbour. We were in a small queen room which despite being narrow we had enough space for the 2 of us for 3 nights, with lovely large windows overlooking the street. While we didn’t dine at the hotel, the restaurant was always busy at meal times which we took as a good sign.
The bed was slightly soft for our comfort but a minor detail. The bed was surrounded by 3 walls so for someone else that might be an annoyance to have to climb over during the night. Again a very minor detail. There was storage space to have luggage off the floor which was good including extra shelving. The toilet area is quite narrow which again was a minor detail - the shower is quite spacious by comparison and the water pressure and temperature was spot on.

Location was excellent with a short walk across the bridge to the Darling Harbour waterfront restaurants. It is also located 2 minutes walk from the tour bus stop. Staff were lovely and very helpful even running out in the rain to get our taxi to come closer. The room was the only downside. Whilst we did book the small Queen, it was very small with the amount of furniture that they had installed. Now it is a boutique type hotel and we understand that room sizes can be widely varying but we are used to small European rooms and this was tight even in comparison to them That said, we cannot complain over the cleanliness or the amenities provided as both were excellent and the tv has the facility to cast to it as well as being huge. In all an excellent hotel and we would recommend just be aware that if you do book the small room that is exactly what it is
