The breakfast was prepacked cereal, juice,fruit milk and a muslie bar.Was good. Cleaning staff were friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Very good location. Near train station and supermarket.

Didn't pay attention that Edgecliff is a motel. Which means there is no security between the street and the room door. Was surprised there was no deadbolt for the room. Could also make elevator swipecard access after hours as that is the only way in.

The room was quite good because it had a couple of chairs and a small table as well as a writing desk, which was quite useful for doing work on a laptop. There was also a long sofa which I think could fold out as another bed. Everything worked and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is on a very busy road but there was little traffic noise in the room. I found it very convenient for accessing the Edgecliff train station, which was only two or three blocks away. There are a range of good shops, cafes and a supermarket at the station building as well. A couple of blocks in the opposite direction is Rushcutters bay which is good for a short walk and a coffee. The rooms are good value compared to what else is on offer and I have stayed there twice in the last twelve months.

It is perfectly good for the age of the building and the room cost.

A good base to visit the city. A twenty minute walk to the ferry which takes you straight into the city. Very close to the train station, an excellent Indian restaurant, Aldi, Coles and a lovely green park looking out onto the harbour. Room was serviced each day and breakfast boxes were provided. Good to have free parking for the car, there was always a space to park in, but the car park is very tight and parking a large car would be a struggle.

No outside window, just a view of the inner building, and the outside lights are on all night so must sleep with the curtains closed. Cobwebs on the ceiling have been there a while. Traffic noise would be a problem in some of the rooms.

Loc.: From airport take train to Edgecliff Station, cross street, walk 3 blocks downhill. Coles grocery store is nearby. Furnishings: In room breakfast food box, suite 104 is quiet, suitcase stand, desk w/mirror, table & chairs, hot drink supplies. Security: No lockable safe, door faces to the car park and street.

Booking.com taxi service: Took 2 fees upon booking with no receipt. Took a 3rd with separate reference #. No description of accounting of payments (final, booking, fee for reservation etc. ) Unable to resolve with Amsterdam office.

I was worried about road noise from Old South Head Rd, as it is a busy road, but room was resonably quiet. If i dont have a view from a room, I prefer a room that can darken with curtains, etc. had good sleeps. Continental breakfast in room was sufficient. Toaster, microwave, kettle, etc were a bonus. Handy location for the eastern suburbs, bus stop outide hotel for city, or other suburbs, and train station about 500meters up the hill. Very good Italian, Indian & Japanese restaurants nearby.

I assumed our beds would be made after the first night, but they weren't. Room was cleaned & new towels provided. I think people do expect the beds to be made daily.

Location and price is excellent, we could easily walk to Kings Cross or Darlinghurst or catch the bus/train - it's basic accommodation but perfect when staying in Sydney and you just want to sleep in your room. It's nice there is a couch and table and chairs in the room too, and the breakfast provided (fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, tea) is perfect. It was also great that we could do late check-in using their dropbox outside reception, and it was easy to book another night and stay in the room we were already in - staff were very helpful.

There's nothing that I didn't like, as mentioned above - it is excellent value for basic accommodation in Sydney.

Right next to the main road and like 10-15 minutes from the Central Station. Easy access to the building. Thought it's gonna be noisy but it was not for room 312 (3rd floor).

Unfortunately, the lift can be accessed by anyone from the ground floor parking. This was a big concern for me. Breakfast is provided as a cereal box. I met a group of 3 customers who left the building because there's no one available to check them in at around 9 PM. Unavailability of staff during late hours is kind of a disadvantage, I believe.

The room was small and somewhat dated, but it offered everything you could possibly want. Good bed, bedside tables with lamps on both sides of the bed, small table with 2 chairs, kitchenette equipped with crockery and cutlery, wardrobe with coat-hangers, storage space, large fridge. Breakfast included which arrived the day before in a box. I arrived at noon and was able to check in. Stayed in room 301, back of building and quiet, windows on 3 sides. Walking distance to shopping centre including Aldi.

I travelled solo, no issues. Being a couple, the space may have been a bit too tight. Just a guess.

Great location close to bus & tube & only 15 minutes into the city. Basic accommodation but very clean & spacious at an excellent rate. Great having a kitchenette to save on meal costs. Daily boxed breakfast was ample. Excellent shower head & a bonus having a bath! Room was quiet & recently refurbished. Stayed 5 nights & would definitely stay again.

Would have been really good with a cooking hob & a few more plates etc, cutlery & a cutting board would be good. Also a toaster but possibly a problem with smoke alarm.

Clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast packs were provided daily to both our rooms. Packs had a full breakfast inside. Cereal, milk, fruit, juice, and milk as well as a disposable bowl and spoon. Rooms were serviced daily. It's easy to get to the city from here, train from edgecliff goes right into town.

Showers were a little difficult to set the temperature, but once it was set, it maintained it without fluctuations. The driveway is very steep, and if you get dropped off in a minibus there's no where for it to park except the footpath.
