The lady staff member who served me when I checked in was the best I have ever dealt with in my life. She was friendly, polite, very helpful and well presented. I am still amazed at the experience two days later! She definitely deserves a lot of credit and praise from her peers for her outstanding work, in fact I will be staying there again very soon. The absolute pinnacle of customer service and I feel so honoured to have experienced that incredibly amazing service from a receptionist. I didn't think it was humanly possible but now I know that someone can go above and beyond. 100% satisfaction indeed.

The price was the only drama but I can live with that when I receive customer service in the way that I did.

It was reasonably priced & a walk to our event venue.

No car parking under cover - I didn't see recommendation to book. Buffet continental breakfast was barely worthwhile with 99% carbohydrate foods. No fruit. No yoghurts & muesli. Coffees pretty awful. Stock low. Nowhere to put dirty cutlery to keep area clean for other guests. Would probably rather lower room fee if it is such a poor breakfast offering that was included. No actual bathroom! Shower was kinda like a cupboard beside the bed! Not worth trying to use it for an overnight stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite the carpark being full within the building there was an outdoor carpark 50m away for $35/night (this is heavily patrolled by rangers - several cars had tickets). We didn't try the breakfast but it looked to be continental. In any case there's an excellent cafe called Haus next door if you want something more substantial. Room was tiny and didn't have a wardrobe, but we were only there 1 night so it didn't matter too much. I wouldn't like to be there long term though. Shower was amazing, and everything was clean and tidy. The aircon was sufficient for us, we like our room cold. The location is a short walk to all facilities of Olympic Park and there's a Woolies metro plus a few good restaurants and a BWS within 200m.

Room was much smaller than expected - waaaay smaller. Bed was a little too firm for my liking, but it was OK. I agree with other reviews that the walls are thin, but our "neighbours" didn't make much noise so all good. Nothing else to complain about really, we had a great time.

The room was small as expected, but was a clean comfortable place to stay just minutes walk away from the Aquatic Centre. The shower was lovely and hot! The included breakfast of cereal and toast with pancakes (and fruit) available was great. Coffee was excellent. We parked nearby outside for $35 for the duration of our stay - very pleased!

The shower was just a bit odd in that it wasn't in a bathroom - just a frosted glass cubicle and that was separated from the sleeping area by a curtain. Not terrible - just odd. Luckily the toilet was a separate cubicle.

This was good value for money. I was able to park onsite at a reasonable addition cost (it is limited). Nice big window. Woolies and BWS 100 metres away. All the regular fast food outlets nearby. Bus to Ferry or train station (T7 to Circular Quay) from outside motel get 525 or 526. Separate shower and toilet. Breakfast bar if you want it.

The tap in my room leaked and the fridge was freezing my stuff . Couldnt find any way to turn it down but did find a party of small cockroaches behind the fridge. It wasnt enough to put me off going there again if I am in the area.

My sister and I were only in town for one night. We found the room clean and neatly presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was an easy walk to the local eateries.

I chose the hotel because it was cheap for one night and the site said there was parking available. Unfortunately I must have misread the site as I was unprepared for the extra $40 cost for parking. The toilet and shower were smaller than we are use to. We generally stay in motels and so don't pay for parking and the toilet and shower rooms are a little bigger. At the end of the day the overall cost was on par with a cheap motel. So I will bare these factors in mind in future.

Have stayed at Ibis Budget at Sydney Olympic Park many times, so I know what to expect. Room was fit for purpose, close to Olympic Pool and comfortable.

Confusion about pre-booking a car space in car park. If you book thru 3rd party like Booking.com you cannot pre-book, but if going thru Ibis Budge website directly, you can pre-book. This is confusing and inconsistent. I tried booking directly with the Budget Ibis website, but it too was confusing, unnecessarily complicated, took me to another page (looked like a scam), so I gave up and went thru Booking.com, much easier.

Room was great, bed comfy, shower facilities accessible, THE BLACK OUT BLIND was FANTASTIC and the room was able to achieve NEAR TOTAL DARKNESS for day time sleeping!

Unfortunately, and no fault of Ibis the people in the room on the otherside of the locked door in between us stayed up talking loudly (maybe drunkenly?) and this was quite frustrating. The aircon was very loud and needed servicing: it definitely was not able to be run if you needed to sleep

The location was top notch, close to everything we needed. The young lady checking us in did an amazing job all by herself on a very busy State of Origin night. She did an even better job after the game when people were coming back to the property and were being quite loud and obnoxious. The room met our expectations and we were pleased to receive our little bag of goodies on our bed. Will definitely be back for another game. Thank you.

It’s a no frills hotel so expect the room to be no frills too. There was a fridge, kettle and TV. The room was small but it is a budget hotel. It is exactly as it says. If you book a budget hotel and expect all the bells and whistles you will be disappointed. We knew exactly what we were getting and were very happy with the room and facilities. Location is excellent for Qudos Arena and Accor Stadium and close to public transport. There is a cafe and convenience store just below.
