The location was very close to Sydney Olympic Park. There is a good selection of places to eat around the hotel from maccas to higher end restaurants. The restaurant and bar in the hotel had a good selection of food and drinks for a moderate price. The windows to the room opened so we could get fresh air and also test what the temperature was for the day. The towels are thick and fluffy, and there is a full-length mirror. The room had a bar fridge, kettle, iron, and hairdryer. There was a kids' room on the ground floor with some toys and a playstation (and a freezer full of zooper doopers). The room service menu was reasonable and well priced.
When the room was serviced they didn't restock the sugar, tea and milk, I phoned the reception and it was brought up to the room promptly. The airport shuttle service wasn't available, I was told the driver was unwell.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful! The check in staff were lovely, the check out staff were lovely, they were so efficient with holding and returning our luggage for us while we went out for the day, and the accommodation was by far the nicest Ibis I have stayed at! The buffet breakfast was well worth the money with barrista made coffee included, the kids play room looked like so much fun for children (we even wanted to jump in and play the PS5 in there!) And the bar was absolutely beautiful! I love the micro greens growing station in the bar/dining area and the communal laundry on each floor. 10/10 would stay again!

The hotel room was very clean, spacious and was well maintained. The venue was perfect if you have an event nearby and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The staff were extra friendly and very helpful. Check in was super smooth as well as the checking out process. We made use of the room service options and the meals were very delicious. All in all this was a perfect stay if you want to be close to the arenas and events nearby.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the AC didn’t really go any colder or cooler. The coldest being 19 degrees but we managed. It would have been nice to be able to open the windows to let in some fresh air but it wasn’t a big deal. Room service was on the expensive side especially for a bottle of water, 300ml for $5.00 was a bit much.

once we found we eventually found our room everything was great
the info and signage around parking, when we found the underground parking we came up in the lift & went to the reservation desk waiting patiently in the line for our turn, gave our name, then was asked could it be booked under a different name, to then discover that we were in actual fact in the Pullman and not the IBIS. Lugged our suitcases across the road, once inside the Ibis we were then unsure if we were in the right spot, again no signage, the line was lengthy & i could see other puzzled people wandering around asking the same question after doing the same thing as us, is this the reservation desk for the IBIS. more signage or instructions needed,

Staff were friendly and helpful with the car parking. Hotel is within walking distance to a choice of food outlets for dinner (or go downstairs to the pub). Handy location with a close drive to nearby Waterview for a work function. Overnight and parking within the building was useful (especially when checking out to go to the work function in a fancy dress costume!). Excellent choice of breakfast buffet items. TIP: Park car first in underground car park (entry on Showground Road) and enter at the boom gate at the lower level of the car park. Park car then bring ticket to check-in via the lift, ignore the top level intercom in the underground car park.
Room at the eastern end of the building (level 1) was exposed to noise from the tunnelling for the overnight work for the Sydney Metro with this stay (December 2024) so remember to pack the earplugs for visits in or around the review date.

Location was FANTASTIC for an event at Sydney Showgrounds, easy public transport to and from central Sydney, Check in was easy. Bed comfy. We didn't eat at the restaurant but had friends who said it was very good. We were able to use a lovely gym at another hotel close by which was an added bonus.
Room outside our corridor was always dirty, never felt it was fully vacuumed and constant trays of dirty dishes outside doors from room service. Shower needs a very good scrub.

We came over from NZ to attend a Rock Festival at Cathy Freeman Park, we wanted to stay close to the venue for convivence. This worked out perfect, the room was basic and clean as we expected. Bed was comfy enough. We ordered room service for breakfast, which was priced reasonable and was ok. There was a few good restaurants/eatery's around the hotel but not much else. But the destination is only really for events that are being held in the area, so it was perfect for our two night stay.
Not much, as what we booked is what we expected, maybe having two chairs instead of one would have been good.

Location fantastic near to train station & shops & restaurants. Room a decent size enjoyed view overlooking the stadium & loved the Xmas decorations outside main doors. Lovely staff professional & welcoming & Sydney was amazing for my 4 day stay over new years.
Wasn't the cleanest of rooms/corridors. Felt this let the place down.

I wish the room had power sockets on both sides of the bed, we both had devices and only one side of the room to charge it from one outlet, the other was used for a lamp or phone charging, so we had to take turns. Would have been just that little more convenient if the other bed on the other side of the room, had a socket next to it. But that is my only issue I had, everything else was great.
