Stayed in the deluxe room. Very minimal noise from the street making the room quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. I found the bed comfy. Restaurant small but the dinner food delicious and was great portion size and I was able to take it to my room to eat. Breakfast had good options and was tastey. Loved that the parking was free.

The walls are slightly thin so I could hear the neighbouring guest and the hotel room doors slammed a bit but that is also guest etiquette.

The room was clean and comfortable especially the tub chairs. I loved the floral arrangements in the room. Made for a homely feel. The staff you came across were always smiling and friendly. Breakfast was a lovely hot buffet and it was nice sitting by the window looking out over the garden and fountain. Would recommend to anyone.

There were just a few areas where it felt a little old, maybe where the pictures had been moved. A quick patch and coat of paint would fix that.

Requested a quiet room and they delivered. Room was clean, very comfortable, a good size and well laid out. Shower was spacious and plenty of hot water. Good balcony with nice views at night. The green curry and spring rolls from the restaurant were excellent, well priced and generous servings. I extended the stay by another week unexpectedly. A very comfortable and easy stay. Will stay here again.

We were impressed with our room, however, should there be a next time, we will ask for an inside room, we were right on Victoria Road. The Breakfast was great and cheap, staff great and helpful. Two nights were much better than we had expected and we will certainly inform any of our friends travelling and staying in Sydney. Nothing that I can say stands out, only that Victoria Road is a busy road and tends to be NOISY.

This was one of the best stays our family has had in Sydney in the last couple of years (we occasionally travel for sporting events). We found this place to be of a great value. The location is very convenient, easy to find and with ample parking. The room was very clean, spacious and it had everything we needed for our short stay. Beds were super comfy and we were grateful to have a room in a quiet area which made our stay very pleasant.

Nice homely clean room with little balcony and great bathroom. Loved the location and the staff were very helpful. I did have luggage and a lift would have helped but there was only one set of stairs.

Clean, well located, free on site parking, very comfortable and well priced. Staff were helpful and friendly. Been staying here for years when in Sydney.

Road noise a little intrusive before 10pm, but after that it was okay - especially with curtains drawn. But don’t let that put you off - this place is a gem!

The only problem we had which was not property related was the lack of shopping facilities nearby. As we are both unable to walk far this posed a problem regarding purchase of food for lunch. Noodles from reception for lunch was all that was available. Restaurant for dinner was great.

Access to public transport. Good bistro with yummy food. And had a balcony for sitting on. Oh, and the best dim sims and spring rolls in Sydney. Delicious

I did ask for a bottle of wine after 10 am. However, you could not purchase a bottle of wine and probably a glass for that matter, until restaurant time.

Parking was good, staff were friendly and helpful, room was very clean and well organised, bed was really comfortable with plenty of extra bedding if needed, shower had good and consistent hot water, reverse cycle air-con worked perfectly, dinner from the restaurant was good quality and delivered to my room hot and exactly at the time I had asked for.

Nothing not to like, especially when you consider I had a room facing the very busy (24/7) Victoria Road. There is a lot of road noise but to the premises credit, the glazing on the window and door in my room was excellent, once you shut the door from the balcony there was very little to be heard.
