The location was great for shopping and entertainment, which was what the trip was all about. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of room in the studio apartment.

We were going to have breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, we walked in, looked at the buffet, and was disgusted at what we saw! Bacon, eggs, and the beans were cold!! There was this horrible looking white liquid in the buffet that looked like someone puked in it. There was no bread for toast either. We walked out in less than 2 mins and decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. The best decision ever!! There were no hand towels in the bathroom, and the shower leaked all over the floor even though we had floor mats.

We first visited Oaks last year as it was affordable and reasonably priced for accomodation in Sydney. Once we arrived, we were greeted by amazing staff and continued to be throughout our stay. We get use out of the facilities (e.g. gym etc) so they are worth it for us. We enjoy the security of the parking and accessibility getting into the elevators. The location is our next favourite and how central it is to so many places, but also not far off a drive to get where you need to go. Rooms are always clean, staff are always so friendly and we have now been back a total of 4 times. It is officially our go to place for accomodation in Sydney.

Only con is that the television never seem to connect to the internet, so you never cast anything to the tv or watch something you prefer.

Absolutely loved staying here, train station just up the road or bus stop. The staff were very accommodating and helpful when I needed too ask a question. The facilities I didn't use, however they looked clean and good too use. Beautiful restaurant on the ground level, very delicious food and amazing staff. Will definitely stay here again

Its a little outdated, definitely could use abit of TLC. The air conditioning units had mould growing inside the unit so could use a good clean, the glass sliding door latch was broke and couldn't lock the door properly. I found a hair of some sort on the toilet seat and in the bed and a few stains on the sheets. Other than that, Everything was great, the bathroom is clean and the kitchen aswell.

Our lovely housekeeping lady was wonderful. She is an asset to your company. She should be commended! Reception staff are really friendly. Check-in was smooth and fast and all amenities were explained. Washing machine in room was so great. Pool area was great for entertaining family guests for an hour, thank you. Location is fantastic. Thanks for a great stay!

Once you are in, the place is a little run down looking with noticeable chipped paint on skirting boards in corridors and spiderwebs outside flyscreens of building that you see in the corridor windows on the way to your room. Rubbish on ground in bin area is an eyesore while driving into carpark.There were no hand towels, only bath towels and fash washers and a foot towel. Really need hand towels. Bit of mould on sheer curtains. Bed was a bit too hard, but acceptable. Overall, thanks for a great stay.

The front desk was super friendly and approachable. The room was bigger than what I had expected. The bed was comfortable enough and the place was relatively quiet during my stay. All facilities in the room are running properly and available. Most importantly, the price you pay vs what you get offers unbeatable values tho, compared to the other options in the area. However, the location was somewhat off as it's kinda close to the North Ryde metro station but you still have to walk for a good 10 mins to reach the hotel. The room that I had was clean enough but it's obvious had some days. If a renovation could be planned in the near future to refresh the whole thing, then it will be absolutely the only go option!!

1 br apartment was spacious and much enjoyed. After 3 weeks of travel we cooked a lovely homemade meal and washed and ironed our clothes. It was quiet with lovely views of the bush. The bed was comfy and shower good. Decor dated but all functional.

Bad checkout experience. Receptionist told us to buzz to leave carpark, then immediately left the reception area unmanned for 15 mins, on a Sat morning at 10 am. We were stuck in the carpark not knowing why the reception button didn't work. Eventually I walked up the ramp to find there were no staff anywhere, behind the counter or in the office, and computer screens left on.

Our studio was spacious, comfortable and clean, equipped with all the basics needed. The pool was great, sadly for us it was raining during our stay. Reasonably priced parking was appreciated.

Reception was polite but not very helpful or welcoming. Maybe just a bad day. I really think the property description needs an update/edit. There is no mention of a restaurant on the booking.com site when in fact there is one. Had we known this it would have saved a lot of angst and time we spent trying to work out dinner and breakfast possibilities (not just for us but for our family who were joining us) in the local area which was unknown to us. Being near the crematorium I'm guessing a lot of guests are there to attend funeral services and are already feeling quite fragile; this information would have been really appreciated.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to Metro station (easily walkable distance). The room was very clean and the large bed was very comfortable, we had booked a King Room. Our room was at the back of the property and fairly quiet. Gym and Pool on site are very handy, Lane Cove National Park is just a stones throw away for runs and walks

There is free parking outside, but is very restricted and only available if you're very lucky. However there is undercover parking available for around $20 per night.

Onsite parking and ease of access to the Metro. Good size rooms and facilities for our needs. The door option to have a private alcove in front of our two room doorways for privacy was excellent. Breakfast included was satisfactory though not a lot of choice. Nice views of bushland from some windows were appreciated.

With being on top floor in a small courtyard, we were opposite a large bank of air-conditioning units on the roof that were very noisy. Not wanting air-conditioning in our room overnight we had opened our bedroom window, then realized this was not an option and put on our air-conditioning that was not appreciated as we still had noise!

Rooms were so beautifully clean. My daughter has dust mite allergies and they weren’t set off once, even with big curtains & drapes.

Our room wasn’t what we expected but it was lovely & clean. We have 3 young kids so we booked what was described as a double bedroom apartment but it was a 1 bedroom & studio connected by a combined hallway. Would suit a family with teenagers. My kids couldn’t open the heavy fire doors at the front of each room.
