Having to check into the hotel near midnight it was comforting to be greeted at the all day and night desk through a well lit entrance without the awkwardness of passwords or numbers to find. The pleasant manners of my first experience at the front desk was repeated by each person throughout my 3 day stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, smelled fresh and was well furnished. The shower was really good and the bathroom well lit. The delicious espresso coffee and snacks always available was a deffinite plus.

Unfortunately the TV settings were difficult to manouver. Perhaps a printed operational guide would be helpful.

The buffet breakfast was great and the chefs were very friendly and professional. Check in & check out were very easy and seamless.

The quality of the room service meals was not very good. One night I ordered a couple of beers with my dinner and there was no bottle opener in the room so I had to use a spoon which was not ideal. Also a Pepperoni Pizza I ordered on another night hardly had any pepperoni on it and looked absolutely nothing like the picture on the ordering app. Thankfully it was still tasty though.

My husband was having an operation at Macquarie University Hospital so I booked for 2 nights so we didn’t have the stress of travelling. The hotel was ideally situated near the hospital so that we could walk there. It was convenient for me to be able to return to the hotel and not have to drive home every day ( over an hour away). The facilities at the hotel were good. The rooms were a good size. The bathroom could do with a bit of an update but was very clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable but felt a bit rickety. The staff were excellent. They could not do enough for you. I did not have breakfast but it looked to be lovely. Lots of choices. I observed the breakfast staff doing a really good job. They would clear the tables and clean and deodorize the tables after each person was finished their breakfast. You could tell that the server took pride in his work, very impressive. The parking fee was reasonable, I was concerned that my husband wouldn’t be discharged from hospital before checkout time so was willing to pay for a further days parking but the staff said not to worry, it was complimentary. As it turned out we were only a few minutes over the time. I was impressed by that. I would certainly stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.

Bathroom needs an update. Bed needs updating

Close to Macquarie hospital and uni, easily walkable for work, close parking and comfortable rooms. The soap/shampoo/conditioner is a bonus if you forget anything. Staff were pleasant and check in and check out were very quick and simple. Wifi was free and fast and the casting system to the tv makes chilling out in the evenings with some streaming services from your phone a breeze.

No real complaints about this hotel if you just want a quick simple stay. However, most of the add ons are quite expensive.. $16 per day for parking for guests is steep in my opinion when rooms are near $200 per night and the breakfast is >$20 when there are other options within walking distance. It does look and smell lovely but I have not participated due to the expense.

Room good size, very clean and the kitchenette great. I liked how the windows opened and we didn't need to run the air conditioning. The outlook of trees and open green area was relaxing especially hearing the kookaburras in the morning My husband had a procedure at the hospital which was a 5 minute walk from the hotel - excellent. Staff very helpful and we would definitely stay there again.

Nice and clean rooms were nice and parking was easy

I hate the self check in - awful I Went to get coffee in the morning the poor girl manning the coffee lounge was rostered on her own she had to take orders and make coffee. My coffee took 25 minutes to get. It wasn’t her fault she had people getting upset waiting for their orders and people lining up to place new orders and she was trying to make coffee between, the area should have had an additional person

Right on the uni campus so very convenient for my conference. About a 10-15 minute easy walk to the shopping centre. Bed was comfy and lots of different pillows priovided. The front desk staff were very friendly. Buffet breakfast was fine but not amazing in terms of variety.

I don't like the method of placing a quilt between two sheets. It doesn't stay in place and doesn't seem hygenic to me. I don't think Hotels of this caliber should charge for parking.

Room was great. We have stayed there a number of times now and find the price very good considering its location. Big Buffet Breakfast was great and Greg who runs it is excellent, well done mate and to the chefs!

Numerous guests leaving their room early in the morning allowing the room door to slam closed! Quite noisey indeed….

The check in young man was lovely as was the younger fremale during the day. However tge older male and female at tge desk were quite rude & dismissive.

The 2 older members at front desk made us feel like we were bothering them. I was travelling with my son for Uni Open Day and after travelling on a train for several hours we arrived lare to find 1 bed. We wanted to split it, which we did ourselves but needed more linen. We were made to feel like we were bothering the staff member to get this for us.. Then there were what seem fresh blood stains on the doona. Not nice at all but we didnt want to tell receptiin because they were so rude having to get the linen.

This is the 6th time I’ve stayed at this property due to being so close to the hospital. Each time has been a pleasant experience, but this last time has been exceptional! Plans had changed upon release so I booked in for an overnight. From the moment I gingerly walked in the ladies at reception were amazing. Changing my accommodation to ground floor, upgrading my room- NOTHING was too much trouble. Smiles from all staff, even the young gentleman working in the restaurant- Thankyou!
