We have stayed here before so know that it is comfortable and quiet (despite its' highway location - rooms are at the back of the building). The price this time was significantly higher, but no doubt a shortage in the area on the night was the problem. It is comfortable and basically equipped - good for an overnighter.

Breakfast is offered at $15pp - it is very basic to an absolute minimal. Not much choice within each cultural offering. Artificial "juice", coffee weak and tasting like nothing. Espresso could be had at an extra $5 but as the machine hadn't been turned on, not worth bothering. Find a nice cafe elsewhere for your toast and Vegemite.

Good value for money, staff was really nice and helpful. The trash was taken out every day. Close to bus reaching to metro and train so the CBD is relatively close.

Not ideal location, no grocery shops around. Even thiugh the trash was regullarly taken out the beds or tables were not cleaned not once for the whole week. Bathroom was not the cleanest and the shower gels were not filled at all.

The customer service namely Jirou and Felita were quick to respond to your inquiries addressing the issues that were experienced by others before. The man in the buffet/cafe area was so nice, he taught how the hot water container works.

Shower area was so small. Hairs on the fall when we arrived. Toilet seat is buggered it made noise when you put down the cover. Tissue papers were so thin. Did not refill rice at the buffet breakfast even if its just 8am. Said its bec of a lot of guests, but shouldnt be that reason. Hot water for coffee was not hot eventhough you waited for the water to boil. Far to and from the city. Bus stop was also distant going to city.

The staff were very accommodating, happy at their work. Room had recently been revamped and was fresh. Had good quality linen,coffee pod machine, herbal teas and good quality toiletries in the large pump packs- good for the environment and don’t run out!! AC was good, quiet and individually controlled.

Only the room was a little noisy, but I live in a very quiet place normally. The position ( which was why there was traffic noise) was excellent for public transport a bus stop outside the door and train station 750mt walk away.

The hotel staff were great - exceptional customer service. I had a small issue with my room on the first night and they did not hesitate to relocate me at 10pm to a new room. While the hotel is located on the Pacific Highway - all rooms overlook lane cove parkland and very quiet. Free convenient parking which is a bonus in Sydney. The rooms are comfortable and have the amenities you require for a pleasant stay - coffee machine, microwave etc. Slept well; the beds are particularly comfortable - quality mattresses. Overall good value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Got upgraded to a king room, room 210, new carpet and curtains in room, looked like it had been recently refurbished, so it didn’t have that 1980’s musty/mouldy smell. Bed was big enough to play footy on. Shower also refurbished with shower heads, including a monsoon shower head. Great parking. I usually stay here when working in Sydney. Don’t know if they’ve changed hands, but reception was manned when I arrived at 9pm, so no more mucking around getting a code for the key safe if you arrive after 4pm. Also the gym, pool and restaurant are all operational again

Water in the shower was Luke warm at best when only hot water tap was turned on.

There are no rooms in the hotel with windows that face the highway - they are all on the opposite side of the building. It's important. I kept a window open day and night and the sound of traffic was remote even during the day. The view is great (4th floor). There is fridge, microwave, cutlery & crockery in the room. Walking distance to Artarmon or Chatswood train station and shops.

Could do with a couple more towel rails in the bathroom for hand towel and bath mat. Also, for a day or two there was incoming cold air in the room although air conditioning was off, like it was on centrally or something. It was cold and draughty, and I didn't like not being able to control the temperature of my room.

The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent and there was a nice view over Sydney from our sixth floor window. The reception staff were great, and there was onsite parking which is a bonus in this area.

The breakfast was very limited in options, and not worth the price unless you prefer an Asian-style breakfast.

Very comfortable and well equipped room. Huge bed, fridge, microwave, safe. Good location with bus stop right outside front door with frequent buses to Chatswood which has a massive shopping centre and a station. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lack of facilities on site, no bar or restaurant. However there is a good bar restaurant 5 minutes walk up the road. It is not 5 minutes walk to Artarmon Station unless you are willing to risk your life crossing a busy 6 lane freeway. Take the bus to Chatswood instead.

All staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Black mould around base of shower recess soap scum all over tile grouting. Sheets did not cover bed, appeared to be double bed size on king size bed. Excessive tariff increase as a consequence of high demand for accommodation because of Pink and Taylor Swift concerts!! 😡
