Staff was very helpful, listen to your concern. I request for upgrade on arrival, as I did not not know that the standard would be so small. I finally got my upgrade on the 3rd day. However the aircon on the upgraded room was making a loud noisy like the washing machine the whole night and water dripping the whole night. My husband did not get any sleep the whole night. He finally switch off the the aircon at 7 am, and manage to get a few hours of sleep, being a light sleeper. We expressed this matter to the staff, and the sender a maintenance staff to look into it and they fixed it. Thanks to Mohammed, the staff at the reception and the maintenance staff for looking into the matter promptly.

The pool was located at the top floor and it was si windy and the water was too cold to swim. There are no gym.

Great location. Town Hall train station directly across the road, and light rail one block away, only 3 /4 stops to Circular Quay. Also, near the Light Rail stop, a co-joined Woollies and Big W store. Was excellent when we found more of Woollies downstairs, including some hot finger food and such. Won't bother looking further next time I need to visit Sydney...will just book here. Travelled with my 2 youngest grandchildren, aged 7 and 8 years, and 2 beds, one queen and one single...although smallish, enough room for us. Rooftop pool, although we didn't use.. but great seating area up there for nice views of the city lights.

The distance from Town Hall station and tramline is great without being on top of it. Woolies just the block over was helpful too. Easy to step out and explore the city. Bed was comfy, slept very well ,pillows great too. The shower was wonderful even though it was tiny, like the whole room. I followed the instructions on how to get the water temperature and pressure just right. Spot on.

The size of the room was probably best for one person. The bathroom was teeny tiny, anyone bigger than me would have trouble using it comfortably. I'm not huge but I'm not tiny either. Can't do anything about the size as it's part of the building, just would be best for one person for a night or two only.

The location is excellent - I walked to Circular Quay along Pitt St with all the shops. I got the train from the airport and got off at Museum. The hotel is a very short walk away from the station along a level, well paved street (important for pulling a suitcase). The hotel offers really excellent value for money. I booked a superior room (not the basic one as other reviewers said the basic rooms needed upgrading). My room had been refurbished. It was not luxurious but it was clean and comfortable with all the amenities I needed. There is no restaurant but it's easy to find somewhere nearby for breakfast. If you are travelling on a budget and want a place to stay in the centre of Sydney, I think this is a good choice. I'd certainly go back if I travelled to Sydney again.

Nothing. I was completely happy.

Perfect location for a visitor using public transport. View from the rooftop pool was amazing. Better than either of these was the staff, who were super helpful and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. The hotel was decorated with fun, quirky features that were a delight. Extra bonus, compared to my last stay in the CBD, the Regis provided a far superior room for a better price. Definitely happy with this choice for my trip.

A temporary issue, but there was noise from the construction of the new metro station over the road until late that could be disturbing to some travelers. Despite this, I'd happily stay at the Regis again (especially once the construction is over).

The hotel is right in the center of the city, and it takes only a few minutes to reach Sydney's Eye, Martin's Place, George Street, Tawn Hall, or St James train station. Although centrally located, it is quiet, and I had a good night's sleep there. The reception staff is very kind and efficient. I once locked myself out of the room, and they were very kind to give me a new key. The AC worked well.

The hotel provides all the basics, but there is no restaurant on site, no seating area, and nothing really 'extra' in terms of amenities. There is a rooftop pool, but I did not go upstairs because it was freezing in Sydney during my stay. This is a good hotel for business travels, but I would not come here for a family holiday, for instance.

The hotel is only a short walk from Town Hall railway station, very convenient for catching the train from the airport. The location is excellent right in the heart of Sydney. Easy walking distance to the historic Queen Victoria Building, Australia Square, Circular Quay and The Rocks.

No dislikes, everything was great. Staff very polite, arranged early check in upon arrival, was expecting to leave my luggage there and return later but they made room available early.

The room was exceptionally clean and a good size. We had a great view towards Hyde Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfy and considering the hotel was on a Main Street it was very quiet. Great facilities on the roof, seating and a pool even though we didn’t use them this time. Would definitely stay here again. Close to a range of eating and retail places.

Probably the only thing I would say, more hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes would have been handy.

Very convenient location. Close to all modes of transport , close to restaurants and other facilities. Room was slightly smaller than expected but adequate for a short term stay. All up, the Park Regis was very good value at $175 per night but perhaps that plus would fall away at a tariff not all that much higher. It is not the newest hotel in Sydney.

Shower head should be replaced by one of a contemporary design - hand held would be desirable.
