A lovely Victorian building. My room in the main building was spacious, clean & nicely decorated. Bedding was very comfortable. Staff friendly & very helpful. Nice court yard to sit, relax & catch a few rays. Great location close to public transport, grocery stores and wide variety of cafes & restaurants.

The building is located immediately on a junction of two very busy roads so the sound of traffic was a constant feature. My room had a decent sized bathroom with a walk-in shower. However, the bathroom lacked any cabinetry to store toiletries, toilet bags etc. This could be an issue as the room sleeps up to 3 persons. Hot water was slow to arrive which resulted in quite a bit of wastage of precious water. When the hot water finally arrived it was not quite hot enough for my own preference. Finally, the small exhaust fan was very noisey and ineffective.

The Lurline Randwick is a very comfortable Boutique Hotel perfectly situated in Randwick with the Light Rail just across the street giving you easy access to the city, via the Children’s hospital, Royal Randwick Racecourse, Moore Park , Surry Hills, Central Station, China Town, QVB & Circular Quay. Just around the corner there is a multitude of eateries and the Ritz cinema. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the bathroom facilities are more than adequate with everything you require for a short stay. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay and will book it again on my next visit.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is well located for public transport and convenience stores. Direct line to the City is just across the road from the hotel. The room was cosy and clean, the bed very comfortable with all the necessary amenities and tea coffee station. The kitchen and laundry facilities is an added bonus and so convenient. No extra costs to do your laundry and washing powder is also free! Tea and coffee freely available in the kitchen with access to fridge and microwave facilities.

The breakfast voucher, which is for use at a nearby coffee shop, is inadequate for a standard breakfast and a beverage. Perhaps consider to increase it.

The bed was super comfy as was the linen and towels provided. Everything one would need was in the room, hairdryer, iron, tea coffee, toiletries. For the first 5 nights I stayed in room 26 which was so very quiet, I didn't hear a sound. The room had aircon which kept it cool. Fantastic location. The staff were helpful and provided vouchers for breakfast at a conveniently located cafe called 22 grams. Even if your breakfast isn't included with your room, I would highly recommend visiting this cafe! I would return to this hotel if visiting the area again.

At late notice I extended my stay and had to move room. Room 6 although the room itself was adequate, the noise from traffic passing by was intrusive. The road outside has a manhole which rattles, clanks and bangs each and everytime a vehicle drives over it... Not a pleasant room to stay in.

Location perfect, staff very helpful & communication was great, responded to my msgs immediately. Good size room with comfortable beds. Very clean. Communal kitchen was clean & well equipped. Good shower hot with good pressure.

The roller blinds weren't flush to the windows, so light came through the edges, which made it difficult to sleep. Also heard quite a bit of noise outside the room when other guests came in late & from the room above. Small bathroom, no vanity or anywhere for toothbrushes or make-up, just a small shelf above toilet. Mirrors not well placed in relation to sockets

Where do I even start with this hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights during our time in Sydney. Perfect location in Randwick right next to the tram station, easy access into the city and surrounding areas. It is around a 20 minute walk to Coogee beach which we did several times also for sunrise and sunset. The hotel is close to Cole’s and a chemist warehouse, we bought groceries from Cole’s and used the lovely kitchen to cook meals after our long days exploring Sydney. They also provide washing machine and dryer which was perfect for us as travellers. Staff were so helpful and friendly, I made a huge mistake and got our check out date wrong. Unfortunately and of no fault of the hotel, we had gone to the beach and came back to our stuff packed up as the hotel was full that night. The staff were so helpful and assisted booking us into another hotel nearby and even helped carry all of our staff down the road! Honestly cannot thank them enough. Breakfast included is not actually in the hotel but at a nearby cafe called 22 grams which is so nice it’s TikTok famous! All round one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and we would love to return if in Sydney again

Facilities were brilliant and staff very helpful.

We had heritage room right beside entrance of hotel. Unfortunately it was very noisy as the entrance door was open all day with noise from reception and street audible in room. Weather was also very bad - raining and windy which meant the room was cold as wind travelling through open doors. Staff gave extra towels to put under door to restrict wind. I bought earplugs which really helped second night. Despite this had a lovely stay. Would recommend requesting rooms away from entrance to avoid issues above.

So awesome, son and i stayed, and were wowed, boutique style, classy, maintained, professional and friendly staff, accommodating, great location, comfy bed, had parking and also some on-street parking, room cleaners did great job, always plenty of towels and wash cloths other places miss sometimes. Felt comfortable and was relaxing, church right next door which made it easy to go to weekend Mass, grocery stores few blocks, public transport across street.

TV remote some issues, would have liked some dishware vs just glasses so could eat breakfast in room, no restaurant on-site, parking spaces in garage tiny so hard to maneuver. Hard to know what shops around, and didnt know where or how to buy pass for station across the street-maybe provide maps of area or book of highlights of what's around?

The Lurline is very well located, close to shops, restaurants and the light rail. The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything required for an overnight stay.

The Lurline advertises that it has parking. There are only has 8 spaces for 42 rooms, so it should indicate that there is very 'limited' parking available. I rang to book a parking spot a number of days before our arrival and was told the parking is allocated to those who arrive first. We arrived early on the day of check in to ensure we had a park. The receptionist then told me I should have booked that morning to reserve a spot - despite the fact that you can't reserve a spot. According to her the process was that the first phone calls on the day are allocated the parks. Communication seems to be a problem for the reception staff! This is an extremely busy area so parking is very important and it is very stressful if you can't find a park.

Property was clean and comfortable. Close to shops , restaurants, public transport and beach. Staff were polite and helpful. Property was quite large, but easy to navigate and had all facilities to ensure a very comfortable stay. Blackout curtain and regular curtain on our window was a nice touch to block out more light if needed. Plenty of PowerPoints for chargers. Air conditioners worked well. Lighting in the room was good.

Condensation from aircon units dripping onto walkways making them slippery (there was signage though). Bed was a little too firm for our liking. Outdoor stairs were of uneven heights so were tricky to walk up/down (which we needed to use to access our room).
