The property overall was very nice - very close to beach - friendly staff - good in room food service. ample space in the suite - love the kitchenette.

However, my suite on the first floor (for a 6 night stay) was in a terrible location. right over the car driveway and next to the alley to the back and liquor store. all large trucks take a U turn in this driveway as well as the hotel street is a one way. had i been given another suite i suspect i would have had an exceptional experience and felt that the value equation was more balanced.

The room fit outs and decor are exceptional. Very large room given the location is a busy city hub. Beautiful views, free bottles of water easily available, staff were professional and friendly, location is perfect. Beach towels available. Lovely lounge area, coffee bar and desk in room. Spacious reception area with comfortable seating. Chilled atmosphere. Just beautiful.

Generally all very good - 2 small things. I wish they would have recycling bin in room. And instead of offering endless bottled water from reception, please consider installing a water filter to refill bottles. Far more environmentally suitable.

Steven was most welcoming upon arrival and attentive from checkin to checkout. I arrived early morning and had requested an earlier check in. I received a text promptly informing me my room was ready within an hour or so. Nothing was too hard for them. Very accomodating and friendly. Great location, room was quiet, comfortable, fresh and clean. Ocean views. Amenities contributed to an enjoyable stay.

location was great, so close to all things amazing but not right in the craziness either. Loved the size of the room, bathroom and having a kitchen was a bonus!

didn't love that I couldn't check in easily late at night when no one was there. a keypad entry would be great for guests arriving outside of regular check in times due to flight schedule.

The hotel seems to be brand new or newly renovated. The room was beautiful with a great view of the ocean.

The TV reception for ABC channels (only) was very poor. The power points next to the beds didn’t charge our phones, which seems odd. We only stayed one night so didn’t report these issues; we would have done had we been staying longer. The view of the beach and our peace was marred by the back court of the Coogee Bay Hotel being immediately below us.

Location can't be beat if you want to be in Coogee. Boutique hotel is a really nice step up for CBH. Room is large and very comfortable. Appreciated the staff providing a late checkout and beach towels, upon request.

While it's at the beach, the room was incredibly humid and the air conditioning was working over time to be cool-ish. Also, be mindful of leaving the balcony door open for very long as a cockroach ran into our room at one point.

The room was large, comfortable, clean, modern and very spacious; The hotel was a smart boutique hotel; the room was spacious, with large sliding door windows and a private balcony with views of Coogee Beach. The kitchenette was very clean, large enough, and well-proportioned with clean and modern utensils, cutlery and plates.

Early in the morning, it was a little noisy as delivery trucks arrived outside where there was a driveway servicing a pub and a carpark directly under our room. I would have liked larger fluffy white towels to match the excellent level of accommodation. The hotel had undercover parking, at the price of $30; I think the parking should be made available free of charge to all guests.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free streaming of TV was welcome.

The shower was over the bath. It would be good if all such showers had grab bars to help old farts like me climb in and out of the the bath tub. The tub was very narrow which presented a challenge in turning round in the shower. A shower head on a flexible hose would be a great improvement. The wardrobe needed a light .

Location was great and within walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Stephen on front desk. Room service menu had many choices to select, prices very reasonable and delivery service was the quickest we have experienced from all other hotels.
