This was my second time staying in this hotel. This hotel was exactly what we needed for our stay in Randwick. Location is excellent, close proximity to buses, lightrail and all the shops. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. They are serviced daily with rubbish collection and bed making service. We were never short of clean towels!! The apartment was stocked with everything we needed for our holiday. Reception allowed my daughter in law to collect our keys on the day of our arrival as we were arriving very late.

I may be wrong here but I think the apartment building is also being used for emergency accommodation in the Randwick area. I know they had problems with one resident while I was there.

Location and was nice and clean.

1-Not enough hot water for 2 adults to have a shower. The second adult Had to wait over an hour for their shower after the first adult as the hot water ran out. 2- Strong scent in the hotel lobby and hallway that was too much and gave us both a headache every time we went through. 3- We booked a room with a view. The room we got has no view and I was disappointed. Me and my daughter had a full-on and stressful time there with her dance competition and we didn't have time to raise this concern with the staff. But really 😞 we didn't get the room with a view that we booked. It would have made our trip a bit calmer I guess.

The staff were very responsive to any needs I had. The location is great and the facilities really good.

There are a few maintenance issues. For example, there was an almost constant drip - probably from an aircon - onto a plastic barrier outside my balcony. So, I was not able to sleep with the window open. In a similar manner, because there is no ventilation, that also made me have to use the aircon, when if there were ceiling fans, that would have been adequate for some nights.

Nice layout and clean. Quality linen, bathroom products upmarket, good kitchenette and reliable air-con. Central location at shops and transport stops for bus and light rail. Enjoyed the view and being on a higher level. Distant and at an angle views of the water. Apartments up the hall may have better views. Joanna at reception was helpful and confident with assisting tourist.

My apartment faced Royal Randwick Shopping Centre. To sleep you might need the windows closed as you can hear hum from air-cons on the roof there.

Room was clean and located in a very convenient location. Had everything we needed.

The stove top was a bit touchy to use and not always easy to get started - you would press the on button or temp buttons and nothing would happen. Had to turn on and off at the wall a few times. The fridge/freezer didn't freeze very well as I needed ice to use after my surgery. Also we bought some drumstick ice creams to store in the freezer and it didn't freeze them at all and they were like liquid. probably need a new fridge/freezer - this is room 612.

Location, price, privacy and good customer service. Location, you’re on the Main Street and not far from the essentials like transport, shopping and restaurants. The young fella that served us on arrival was lovely, smiling and went above and beyond during check and assisted us with parking. Acceptable price given the standard of the hotel. Quiet and private

Photos online definitely make it look a lot nicer and newer than what it is. However it was good enough for the price paid and we didn’t expect anything 5 star..

Second time we have stayed. Staff are exceptionally helpful, we arrived at 10.00 am and by 10.30 our requested room was ready. The location is perfect for us, either meeting locally with family or going to city. The room with the big verandah is great and keeps the road noise out, room Facilities are always clean, work, and bathroom is lovely with top end products. Highly recommend . Our usual stay is around 4 days. Thank you Verriu staff.

This was my third stay at Veriu and it lived up to my expectations again. The room was well appointed, with good facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It offers more than a hotel room. I love the balcony for eating breakfast in the morning. It is very close to the shops, which made supermarket shopping easy. Also only a short walk to my daughter's apartment.

Almost everything was great. The first time I stayed here there were blinds on the windows. This room did not have these and, as it was still long summer days, it was hard to get the room dark enough.

Excellent location. Close to shops and transport. Has cooking facilities as well as a washing machine. Generous balcony although ours was not front facing, so no view.

Generous balcony overlooked small garden alcove downstairs opposite adjoining building's windows, but also home to a number of pigeons that loved cooing most of the time. Room 309. Very tight in bathroom and towel holder broken. Reported to reception upon arrival. Could do with deep clean, especially carpet.

Vacuuming in the room could have been a bit better, found a few biscuits under the bed that weren’t ours and shoes. Apart from that was a great location, friendly staff and good value for money. Very accommodating on early check in with our young child, especially after travelling.

Everything was great, maybe coffee top ups more often and bit better of a vacuum in rooms.
