Benita at the front desk is a warm, energetic girl, along with her friendly sidekick, Ramiro. You can feel her positive attitude toward life right from check-in. This hostel has bathrooms inside the rooms. Even though it’s an eight-person dorm, it’s divided into two separate rooms. Plus, the kitchen is being expanded. They also host occasional group dinners. Oh, and at least this month, there are loads of long-term British guests here. So, if you’re from the UK, you’ll probably enjoy the feeling of meeting compatriots abroad.

The main drawbacks seem to be in the kitchen: the toaster is always broken, there’s a lack of kitchen paper, and coffee is often unavailable.

I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm. The room was small but had an en-suite bathroom which was lovely. The bed was comfy and had a privacy curtain, power outlet and reading light. The AC in the room worked well! The hostel has 2 kitchens (level 1 & level 3) so if one was busy you could use the other. The hostel is 15 min walk to Clovelly Beach and 15 min walk to Coogee Beach. There is a bus stop right outside the hostel and heaps of cute cafes and restaurants within 3-5 min walk up or down the street! Perfect location! And the hostel was very clean - the dorm room and bathroom were cleaned twice each day.

The only negative is the wifi. My dorm was on the first floor and the wifi signal would drop sometimes, which was a bit annoying. But this is the only downside about this place, everything else is fantastic!

Probably the best hostel I have stayed in in Sydney so far. Staff were friendly, the hostel was spotless and the rooms actually felt homely and like somewhere you could stay an extended period of time if needed. The common areas and rooftops were lovely and the general atmosphere of the hostel was inviting and calm.

Housekeeping come to the rooms a little too early sometimes (around 7am which isn’t ideal when finishing work as late as midnight) laundry on site is great, but a bit annoying that you need specific coins for a wash and then different specific coins for a dry. But not a a major issue.

The staff was very friendly, and the location was fantastic. Just a 5 minute walk down to Clovelly or Gordon Bay, and a buss stop outside the front door. The room was clean and just about enough space to fit four people’s stuff. The beds were really nice and having a hanging around and a bit of privacy was really nice. Ended up staying 6 nights would likely have stayed longer if it didn’t get completely full. But could store my bag there for a couple nights while hiking in Blue Mountains.

The kitchen did end up a bit dirty a few nights, and staying here longer term would get expensive.

Practical hostel no frills type facilities with private en-suite rooms available for all age groups. Excellent value for money , very clean bedrooms, very comfortable beds, quiet at night..Ticked all the boxes for our stay, returning 3 times in between travelling elsewhere Good bus service 350 to Coogee , can walk in 15 mins max.. Friendly & helpful staff Convenience shop next door.

Such a great hostel with various events on which is great to socialise; I particularly enjoyed the free Pilates on the rooftop and the movie night. The rooms are comfortable with good storage and the roof terraces are so lovely to relax. Clean and a good location to Coogee beach.

The WiFi wasn’t great, I was on floor 3 and it didn’t reach my bed and regularly disconnected when it did work - if this could be improved then it would be a 10/10 hostel.

Location, cleanliness and very friendly staff and people. We stayed in private room for two and it had everything we needed. The staff were so helpful and provided us with ironing tools. Close to cafes, bars, and Clovelly Beach. Private car parking was available and we had to park on street once.

If filtered water was available in the property that would be great. There could be one but couldn’t see it.

Room basic but fine for the price. Communal kitchen and outside terrace nice enough with minor reservations , see below. Location good - choice of four buses -two to Bondi Jct., and two to the city -Museum and Central. Guest service good with both room cleaning and reception helpful.

My room's wardrobe was small so would've liked a couple of hooks in the wall for hanging hat , jacket , small bag. Also maybe one of those small tables to put a suitcase on rather than the floor. Though the communal kitchen had a good 6 burner stove top , the oven wasn't working and neither was the microwave. Told the owner / manager and he said he'd taken over only recently and he'd get onto it. Told me i could use the staff kitchen which was nice of him but no microwave there.

It is perfect for a short stay as you have everything you need. Small place but very warm! It's conveniently located close to Coogee Beach, in a quiet area with a few cafes around. A really great value is the parking included in the booking. The staff are amazing! The room was clean, with a small fridge, kettle and coffee. I would book again! Thank you to the lovely staff who were always with a big smile to help us and make our stay as good as possible!

One of the best hostel I’ve ever been! I like the vibe of the place itself. Reminds me an holiday house in my own country. I love I had the toilet/bathroom in the room itself and mostly the hair dryer already there. The only think I dislike the people . I’m not speaking about the stuff bc all of them really nice, but like always in hostel in big city ppl are not friendly
