I had been to Australia a few times from NYC so I am familiar with SYD and it's Eastern Suburbs - Coogee was the place I stayed during my 1st visit to SYD for New Years Eve '99 - 00.....so very familiar with the area..... Coogee Studio Apts is just a very short walk to the stop for bus 339 to the city and also bus 350 to the airport.....that was a big plus!

not that I "did not like" but a recommendation: please DO SOMETHING about that fire alarm (smoke detector) - we have them by law in every NYC apt but the ones we have can be deactivated if required - I had a kitchen in the unit but was unable to use it because of that fire alarm being so sensitive - even if I took a shower - that is my recommendation -: PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT FIRE ALARM (SMOKE DETECTOR). other than the issue with the fire alarm - I give my thumbs up to COOGEE STUDIOS APT and if I travel again to SYD in 2025 I will for sure stay there again - the pros overshadow the cons (that fire alarm).

I stayed at the Coogee Studio Apartment for quite while. During that time, I was extremely well welcomed by the helpful staff, the pretty much perfect location as it was just in front of the bus stop, and the beach was close enough to have a calm walk there. The apartment itself had a great balcony to have to some breakfast or lunch, and the comfortable bed was just what I needed for my often bad back. The staff came in to finish cleaning the room once a week, which made for a genuinely free spirited stay. Highly recommended.

One of the best things about living in the Coogee studio apartment is its proximity to Coogee Beach, which is absolutely amazing for beach lovers. The streets around the apartment are bustling with activity, filled with vibrant cafes, shops, and restaurants. The apartment itself is modern, well-designed, and filled with natural light, making it a great place to live.

I loved everything about the apartment and there was nothing I didn't like. The place is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Everything in the accommodation worked perfectly, from the TV and kitchen appliances to the bathroom fixtures. It was an all-around perfect experience."

Great location with easy access to public transport. Comfortable bed and good basic facilities.

Some smaller areas (balcony, behind/underneath furniture) wasn't very clean - dust and some cigarette butts on the balcony . There was an odd smell when I entered the property (possibly from the bathroom drain) and the floor looked like it had been mopped with a cloth but needed a good scrub. I also reported a faulty external light via the online chat which never got fixed.

It did what it said it was a good room with good facilities and the bed was comfy with a powerful shower. We also lost an item in our bed sheets as the cleaners didn’t realise it was in there but once we rang up it was safely returned to us the next day

I asked about getting the shower head holder clip getting fixed as it wouldn’t hold the shower head up but nothing got done about it.

Very handy for coogee and the beaches ,,busses were very good and mostly on time

The washing machine situation was bad as there was only one washer and dryer for about 24 flats ,,which was not good as we had a lot of rain ..when you was lucky enough to get to use a washing machine there was nowhere to dry your clothes outside ,,there was only one chair in the Spartans the balcony was too small to put a chair on

Location and having an available car park at a reasonable price for the stay

Small amount of disrepair such as a loose light fitting in one kitchenette and a loose tap arrangement in one bathroom and some minor mould in one shower. These were really minor issues. We really liked the property. I didn’t realise there would not be any reception staffing in any way. All comms done online or by phone to an overseas call centre.

No breakfast included. We have stayed here before and the facilities a very comfortable. Bedding, towels and weekly servicing of the apartment excellent. Great location. We loved room 5 for the space and being on the ground floor. Will book again.

Laudry facility being available was a bonus but only one washing machine and one tumble dryer working. So difficult to get the use of them.

It was clean, modern and a very comfortable bed. Pleasant stay. We stayed for over a week and beds and towels were changed during our time. We got our steps in, close to beaches in coggee, clovelly and Gordon's bay. The pizza place around the corner is great, close to the shops and cafes. Really handy as we were visiting our daughters in coggee, the sunrise is definitely worth waking up for.

It is small, but also is accurately described. It is modern and clean which is the main thing.

Very convenient location with reliable buses to Bondi and the city. Reasonably quiet, although you can expect noisy guests on the weekend. The staff on the phone were extremely helpful and prompt, and the new towels and sheets after 7 days were appreciated.

The floors were very dirty when I arrived, as if they had been mopped with filthy water. The kitchen was well equipped and OK for basic quick cooking, but the extractor fan can't cope with much smoke or steam.
