The location from Coogee Podbed is absolutely amazing! Foodstore, coffee shops and some good take away are right in front of the Hostel. The Busstation for the city center and the airport is near by. The hostel kitchen is small but good equipped and has big fridge. There are many toilets and shower. Our room was small but tidy and we had even a shelve and a desk where we could put our stuff.

There were a lot of young guest and sometimes the toilets look just gross and in my opinion they needs way more cleaning attention from the staff. Nobody wants to sit in the morning in pee from es stranger.

Hostel was better than expected. The staff did a great job making sure everything was kept clean and were very kind. I was worried when I read a review that mattresses were thin but I had 2 mattresses so it was very comfy (bit hard to close my pod door though, but that's fine). Location is great, so close to beach. Atmosphere was nice, not a party hostel and friendly people.

Pod beds were a bit hot and stuffy, locker didn't lock.

The location is great, right in the centre or Coogee. The shared kitchen is well equipped with plenty of shared pots and utensils. Lovely garden spaces available to use. Staff were generally really friendly and tried keeping the place clean.

There was a fair bit of late night noise from others (we had a room next to the kitchen). A few bugs were found inside the kitchen but the area was kept very clean.

We’ve had an amazing time!!! It’s definitely worth it. Perfect for a long term stay because it feels like home but also great for a couple of days to explore the coast! The beach is just two mins down the road! Crystal clear waters, soft sand and stunning nature and rocks around! The staff is very nice and welcoming. We liked our bed and mattress 😊

300 meters to beach, 2 doors down, groceries, on street with cafes, restaurants and more! Very quiet, big grassy back yard

New pillows needed, wash the comforter, wash walls, get vinegar to kill germs in kitchen, clean walls of shower stalls and disinfect with vinegar, need to wash front ceramics c tiles

Great location, easy check in, accommodating to extra dates.

Included linens, but not towels. One of three top floor showers had standing water the entire week. There was no sanitation spray offered to cleanse the communal showers before use.

Lovely staff and residents. Fully equipped and hygienic kitchen. Property is cleaned throughout the day by the staff. Perfect location and lovely big garden with a bbq.

My only negative is that thicker mattresses are required in the pods, they weren’t unbearable but slightly on the uncomfortable side.

In the pictures, it was alluded that it was closer to the beach. I didn’t mind but wasn’t sure I was at the right place because it said “beachside” and the pictures also felt like they were manipulated to appear as though it was

Very good location, and affordable for budget stays, really close to the beach. The team were very helpful if you needed to extend your stay, if they had availability there was usually no issue.

Some maintenance issues with the pod, the lighting didn't always work, the air con didn't work in my pod which did make it hot at night.

Was great I cooked a big breakfast in the kitchen and a lady said help yourself to the sauces. The friendly people were nice.great staff

Na it's was what I like meeting people I'm from New Zealand.it was great jus down the road I got up went for walk and had a swim For my money it was cheap.
