I’ve stayed in a few hostels around Sydney & the village Glebe is by far my favourite! Located on Glebe point road with a short walk to shops & cafes bars. Bus stop right outside aswell. This didn’t feel like a hostel but more of a home away from home! Lovely vibe in this hostel with activities going on every night. Gorgeous rooftop terrace with stunning view of sunsets and a games room pool table & table tennis. The staff here are honestly Amazing! Big shout out to Rose Felicia & Maria espically who were so welcoming and willing to facilitate anything you need. Always friendly saying hello and asking about our days! When I come back to Sydney will definitely stay here again! Would recommend to a friend.

The staff here are great and the buildings are characterful. There are a couple of different seating areas when wanting to work or to socialise. The mattresses seem to be new and the sheets are clean and fresh. Air con in each of the rooms is also great in the Aussie summer

They do a really good job keeping the place as clean as they can, but pretty much as soon as the kitchen has been cleaned, someone goes in and uses it and doesn't clean up after themselves - certainly not the fault of the staff or management (other than perhaps using their surveillance to penalise the grubs?). Don't hold this against the hostel, but be ready for it. They also do their best to keep the kitchen stocked with cutlery, plates, pans, etc - again, it's the 'guests' who ruin it for others

The location in Sydney is great easy public transport it is clean there is friendly atmosphere with people here there is air conditioning which is great the roof top leisure area has great views of Sydney and is a good place to chill out there are various group gatherings such as a free sip and paint activity and pancake breakfast served on the rooftop is free and yum I rate this as the best hostel in Sydney I really enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend to all.

I had the opportunity to come back to this hostel after a certain time and I am never disappointed, feels like home. It is a good place to meet people and enjoy Sydney. The common areas are big, clean and well equiped, the rooftop offers a nice view and a nice place to hang out. Big shout out to the staff Rose, Brendan, Felicia and Gabo for making this place as welcoming as it is and for always making sure we are well settled and feeling comfortable. Always a good laugh, a good chat or advice.☺️ And ofc a big shout out to Stu, always !!

The location and hostel were nice, not far from the CBD and was well equipped for our needs. They offered a lot of activities and communicated well on the App.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the room didn't look like it did on the bookings page but we were still happy with what we got. We were excited to see we had a kettle and microwave and we werent expecting - but they didn't come with any mugs or plates or anything.

The property is extremely comfortable, with dual A/C & heating in each room, the bathrooms are well maintained and very clean. It has a great rooftop for chilling with a large covered area that is surrounded by an open area with great 360 degree views. All the staff do their best to make everyone feel at home. Special shout out to Timur, who goes above and beyond, is welcoming, friendly and extremely courteous. The Village, Glebe create an atmosphere of inclusion of everyone from all Nations. Of special note are the hammocks on the rooftop, the complimentary pancakes on a Sunday morning which enables different travellers to meet, mingle and strike up friendships. A great place to stay!

He was really fast and proactive for all my check in and he gave me really good advises related to places to visit in Sydney. Thanks to receptionist as him and Dhiraj, life in the village is easier. That’s the reason why I have stayed over a month. I want to remark also the great housekeeping team inside the hostel, specially Daniel and all the people from Colombia. Their work might not be so visible but it’s essential the hostel and all the guests. Great people!

The fridge in the kitchen was disconnected some times. I had to throw food. There were not glasses and cutlery in the kitchen for almost a week.
