Once again returned to our haven in Glebe. A long weekend break and the hotel once again was clean and comfortable, friendly check-in, very quiet so a peaceful sleep on a comfortable bed with air conditioning to keep you warm or cool. The renovated reception area wasn't finished but looks a lot nicer as previously it was very cramped at times - good work. Great location close to the city, walk in as we did via Pyrmont then over the Pyrmont Bridge to Barangaroo, or take a bus from across the road, or walk to the light rail stop only 10 minutes away. We stayed at a reasonable price so the hotel met our expectations on value.

Friendly staff, great location, clean room and both the main room and bathroom were good for the overall size. The balcony was unexpected which was nice given the hot day, and the voucher for breakfast was a great addition and appreciated.

Tv was literally hanging off the wall and looked like it would fall off Door seals to the balcony or the air-con which was above whistled quite loudly with the winds the night i stayed...likely not an issue 90% of the time, but my stay was one of the 10% No fan in the bathroom and reliant on a slide window where the pathway to the room and other rooms is...also opposite to the shower...didnt feel comfortable opening it.

Great location and room was quite a generous size.

Toilet could do with a deep clean and the glass shelf in the shower is badly positioned due to the height of the shower head. Maybe it's only a problem for shorties like me. Because Haven's Booking dot com account was hacked I was very nervous when charges came through on my credit card after I'd checked out. From the cafe apparently, only $4. Either someone gave the wrong room number or the cafe staff made a mistake. Whatever, staff need to be a bit more diligent with their financial processes.

This Hotel is well located. The Glebe is a good neighborhood and I felt safe travelling alone. There are good restaurants within walking distance. Italian, Japanese, Indian, etc. Great Argentinian coffee bar across the street. The brochure I was given at the front desk was ideal for me to take local buses to get to almost everywhere. People at the front desk, while not very informative, they where nice and called taxis when requested. I would come back to this hotel.

The bed was okay, but had a lump in the middle division which would not allow me to take the entire width of the bed. That is my only observation. Everything else was really nice.

I loveee staying here. The room is spacious enough, really cozy, super clean, bed is comfortable, and the room is very much well-equipped (they even have an iron and the iron board!!). They have their own coin-laundry and small gym facilities here. Location is reaaalllyy convenient. Literally less than 1 minute walking to the bus stop and 5-10 minutes walking to the tram station. It’s much more like a residential area so you can have a nice, quiet atmosphere around here. It is also surrounded by a lot of bakery, cafe, and restaurants. The thai restaurant in front of the hotel is amazing I ate there 3 times lol.

The wifi was a bit terrible and I don’t understand why my Vodafone often lost its signal there. Also, the lift was broken the last 3 nights of my stay and they only offered us a coke to compensate so that’s a bit disappointing.

We are frequent 'stayers' and booked here once again for a family event, plus to go to the local Czech restaurant, Tommy's (also highly recommended). Check-in easy and quick as usual, no hassles, room was clean and comfy, good air conditioning as it was quite hot during our stay. (Be aware, there is only 2 hour parking in the area around the hotel Monday to Friday so book a parking place if you can, we ended up driving into the city to park in a garage as we were working there Friday - Saturday was easy to find local parking -this is not a hotel issue but thought I would add in case this helps anyone). Location in the quieter end of Glebe Point Road so no issues with noise. There is a new cafe for breakfast where they offer you subsidised breakfast, it was only okay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The attached cafe on the Saturday morning wasn't great, service a bit of a shambles, the cafe is small for the size of the shop it covers and seems to mostly be a catering area for other restaurants - the staff in the catering side were noisy and seemed to have no idea that people were eating breakfast behind the curtain separating the two areas. Personally, the Esca across the road is a much more friendly place to have breakfast (which is where we ate Sunday morning and usually eat when staying).

We booked two rooms this night to stay with friends from Newcastle, this was an annual trip for my partners brother's birthday craft brewery tour (very nice). Unfortunately, our friends could not make it as one was in hospital due to illness and we asked to gain a cancellation (although we had booked non-refundable) Very pleased to say that working with both Bookings.com and the hotel, a cancellation for one room was allowed and we received a refund. But, onto the hotel, staff were great and understanding, gave us assistance. Room comfortable as always, air conditioning kept us comfortable, bed comfortable and clean, bathroom functional and clean. Always enjoy our stay in this hotel and I continue to love the location.

The Surroundings are calm and quiet. The Staff are very friendly. The Room is comfortable. The Breakfast is nicely cooked and delicious, and is delivered to your room. A Gym (free) and a Washing Machine (5 AUD) are given. The Bus Stop to Central is right outside the hotel and runs frequently. The Tram Station is a 5 minute walk away, allowing easy access to the fish market and Pyrmont Bridge.

Andy at reception was awesome. very clean, neat room with a good size ensuite, separate bag and robe hanging space, separate fridge/tea/coffee space, desk and chair, lounge chair and private balcony on our 3rd floor room. A beautiful outdoor area for all guests and a well equipped indoor gym. Across the road from a great shopping strip with a pub, multiple cafes, chemist, bakeries, florists and other interesting shops. Reception is manned 24/7 and room service 6 days a week. Also a short car trip to the cruise ship terminal. Definitely recommend Haven Glebe.

We liked everything about the property.

Very friendly staff. Was able to drop off baggage well before check-in. Room was clean, and beds were very comfy. Room was quiet even though there is a fairly noisy street just outside. Very close proximity to nightlife in Newtown and good communications to the CBD- just a short ride with tram or bus if you don't feel like walking. Several nice breakfastcafés close by.

Breakfastcafé associated with the hotel was lacking in variety, very boring teas. All towels provided were not clean, had large dark stains on them. Did not receive more towels when we asked for it, just clean ones.
