I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was, particularly for a pet-friendly one. Very fresh and clean and the bedding, carpet etc. was more akin to a nice hotel room. As for pets, there is plenty of nice lawn for them to do their business (pick up!) and my room even had a back door that lead to an enclosed stable so I could get my young pup out of the way for a little bit while I packed the car. Regarding check-in time - while the stated cut-off is 8pm, I was running late after a long drive so I called ahead and they left the key in a lockbox for me. Location - it's about 5km out of Tamsworth, towards Armidale. As I was driving to Brisbane this was no problem at all.

Friendly, helpful staff-always ready to be of assistance. Warm welcome by Manager.. I appreciated how friendly everyone was towards my dog. I was immensely pleased with the pet enclosure attached to the room and the large grassed area -perfect for exercising my girl. Manager was most helpful, particularly when an issue with my car occurred.Cleaning personnel were friendly and obliging. I am grateful for the kindness and comfort I experienced in my week at The Aston.

My one night stay at the Aston was incredibly comfortable. The room was cleaned immaculately and smelled great too. It was large with a comfortable king bed. The wifi and television options were great too. And the staff were lovely and welcoming. Overall, the Aston Motel is great stay at an affordable rate.

The property is quite a way out of Tamworth, which could be a tad inconvenient if you want to be central to everything. However, I did not mind considering the quality of my stay.

Had a friendly welcome from the owners who had pre-warmed the room for me and gave some good options for meals. The room was very clean, spacious and the bed comfortable. The TV was larger than my one at home. There was everything you would need for a short or extended stay. The motel is about 6km outside of Tamworth (Armidale side) which I liked. Very happy with my overnight stay and definitely happy to return.

The wifi seemed to be a little iffy at times but that could have been my phone which was overheating- still did the job. I really can't think of anything to complain about.

The staff were lovely and gave excellent local recommendations. Our unit was huge, immaculate, awesome lounge & tv area and had loads of little extras we weren't expecting...they had even turned on the air-con before our arrival. Massive gardens with lots of private family/ group/ pet options. We were genuinely stoked we picked The Aston and will absolutely book there when next in Tamworth

We got there late and couldn't enjoy the gardens pool as much as we would have liked (our bad!😄)

The property was good , beds comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful .. about 8 minute drive into Tamworth. Pool was good and clean

The bedspread in main room had marks on it, carpets very marked and not vacuumed before we got in there. No washing up liquid or knife to cut tomatoes etc (but staff did supply one when asked) other than these few things it was a very comfortable place to stay

Everything location although a little too far from shops but there is a BP that serves food across the road rooms were great loved the big tv beds & pillows were comfortable and of great size the bar fridge was hidden out of little ones sight which was good l like theres a large grass area for my toddlers to run and play there's seating and tables on grassed area although the smell of chickens were a little strong on the nose but twas really nice to have a place for everyone stretch after a long drive staff were very helpful and so kind and understanding will definitely stay again 😊

Friendly staff, comfy beds & great air conditioning

The family room was a good size however the pull down beds made the space a bit awkward. The website advertised an on-site restaurant which we planned to utilise however it wasn’t operational while we were there. Parking for the back family rooms wasn’t designated so we had to work around the sometimes strange way others parked.

Hosts are very nice! We arrived very late after midnight, well beyond checkout time but we got the keys without any issues and went straight to our rooms. They warmed up the room before we got there which was so considerate of them. Thank you for this (I have very low tolerance to cold so this means a lot for me)

No Netflix, but they do have amazon and others which is okay.

I am extremely picky about hotels and take a cabin side suitcase full of my own cleaning products wherever I stay, I can say we did not even crack that case open- everything was exceptionally clean. All services we needed were available and working lovely. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with any questions I had. It was an excellent stay and we look forward to booking in again on the way home. I wish we had gotten there earlier to be able to explore the grounds more as they looked beautiful, but got a refreshing swim in after a LONG day on the road.
