The staff. They had no idea about the 3-5pm cocktail specials on Sunday afternoons. The girl just wanted to argue when I explained I had been over charged, and told me the cocktail I had chosen was not on the classic list, which it was as per menu. The girl kept calling me darling at the end of every second sentence. Please teach the staff how to handle simple enquiries without being condescending and argumentative.

Beautiful room with amazing view. Beds are comfortable and the grounds are gorgeous. Staff are friendly and the pool area is paradise. Theres a reason why we keep coming back every year!

We stay here every year, sometimes twice a year and always are very happy with the service. However this time, we had an incident in the restaurant area that was a little disappointing. The guy at the bar took our order incorrectly and put down Beachies burger instead of the starter which was Beachies Squid. When I spoke to the lady in the serving area about it, she was quite rude and said ‘You’ve been charged for the burger.’ I told her my daughter is a celiac and so can’t eat the burger. She was visibly irritated and told me ‘fine. I’ll sort it out’ No apology given, not even a smile and definitely no compensation for the overcharge for the incorrect meal. It’s a shame to have good food and location tarnished by a bad attitude and bad customer service.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort with our family, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location couldn't have been better, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful and friendly throughout our stay. Despite its prime location, the hotel was reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise. Our room was not only spacious but also impeccably clean, making it perfect for our family of four, including two young children. The hotel's decor and thoughtful touches enhanced our comfort and convenience, making our stay truly enjoyable. We were spoiled for choice with food options both at the hotel and in the local area. The restaurant staff were professional and attentive, ensuring we had a memorable dining experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the mesmerising giant fish tank in the aquarium. The hotel staff kindly informed us of the feeding times, allowing our kids to watch and be thoroughly entertained. We were particularly drawn to the sophisticated bronze door and drawer handles in our room at The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort. Their intricate design added elegance to the space, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Each time we used them, we appreciated the craftsmanship and attention to detail, contributing to the luxurious atmosphere of our stay. Overall, our stay was a treat, and we're already planning to return to The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort in the coming months. This hotel has truly set the standard for an unforgettable family getaway.

Great hotel, well presented, clean and perfect for a family getaway. Pool is a winner for the kids and the bistro menu has lots of different options to suit everyone. Buffet breakfast was also quite good.

Pool bar wasn't open which meant you needed to go to the main bar to purchase a drink which is not practical when it's on another level and you're in your swimmers. Also, I took advantage of the onsite massage which was offered but unfortunately it was a disappointment - two therapists, one teacher and one trainee but it was definitely not a professional or relaxing experience.

Breakfast buffet doesn’t work well. Before being seated the waitress took our coffee order and asked how we would like our eggs. We explained we were waiting on friends. She said that’s fine. Minutes later our eggs arrived on a small plate. We hadn’t even had a chance to enjoy the juice cereal, yoghurt, or pastries. We felt extremely rushed. It doesn’t run smoothly at all. We were eating our egg before our guests even arrived. It is a very strange way of serving a breakfast buffet.

We loved staying at the Beachcomber, what a gem in the middle of the Central Coast. The first impression was how welcoming the staff were in every part of the hotel experience. We felt like we had arrived at an old friends home. The ambience of the hotel with the 70's/80's music and vibe to the elegant renovations made us very relaxed. The lake view and sunset from the outdoor deck was so relaxing, we could have been anywhere in the world. Dinner of fish and chips and chilli prawn linguini was tasty and the staff attentive. As we were arriving late and only staying 1 night we didnt pay the extra for a lake view, but our room was comfortable and roomy. We will certainly make the most of lake view option next visit. Breakfast was a treat with many options including eggs cooked to order. Once again the breakfast team were so kind and chatty which made us feel that we were actually welcomed and part of a family. I mentioned to the waiter clearing our plates that whatever was happening at the beachcomber keep it going. That waiter turned out to be a senior manager, imagine that. Although Toukley is a little village it is also a great staging point for visiting the area. Thankyou again to all the wonderful people making a difference for a travellers experience at the Beachcomber. You are all GOLD.

The hotel was very clean & tidy

The hotel contacted me the morning of our stay to confirm how many beds we required as it could lead to an upgrade. I replied with 1 queen bed. We received a queen bed by no upgrade. Unfortunately when booking the accommodation we could have had a view of the lake at a more expensive cost & those rooms were available at the time of our stay so I can’t see why they couldn’t upgrade those rooms to their guests. I also think that the hotel room should have a toaster in there like other hotels have.

I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The view from the hotel is nothing short of magical, with breathtaking sights that make you feel like you are in paradise. The location is perfect, offering easy access to beautiful beaches and local attractions. The rooms are impeccably clean and exude luxury in every detail, from the comfortable beds to the high-end amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need is met promptly. Staying at the Beachcomber Hotel was truly an unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to return.

Nothing Maybe breakfast is a little expensive

Our room was clean, fresh & comfortable with excellent views. The balcony had a lovely table and chairs. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in !! The pool was clean, tidy and very refreshing. Pool towels were provided. The food a the bistro was amazing with so many options. We had the most relaxing time and will be returning again some time.

The only thing I could have wanted was a foot stool on the balcony.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with friends at The Beachcomber. Probably exceeded our expectations for a Resort at Toukley. The young staff members were lovely and very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the variety of food for breakfast was amazing. Would have no hesitation in recommending The Beachcomber to others.

My pet hate in hotels/motels/resorts is too large beds which leaves little room for seating to relax in or a table and chairs to sit at. The room was lovely with a great view over the pool and lake but could have done with more comfortable seating for relaxing.
