1. More PowerPoints in the room - eg: at least one on each side of the bed. 2. QR code to connect with wifi does not work on laptops - neither with Windows nor Mac platforms. You have to have an internet connection to use the QR code - which is impossible (and stupid) when you need the code specifically to get an internet connection. 3. Not enough parking close to the rooms. Husband has mobility issues but the parking spaces were all being used. Recommend one or 2 spots be reserved for specific rooms for people who note when booking that they can't use stairs so need a ground floor room with parking not too far away.

Friendly staff! Nice trees around and all the rooms felt sheltered from the road and the rail. This gave it a resort feel. There was even a lovely pond with beautiful carp in it. Location right opposite the shopping centre and handy for getting places quickly. The Inn offers a free continental breakfast and pod coffee every morning. This was a bonus. The rooms are large and clean. Cleaning service was every day! Most motels/small hotels don’t offer this service for longer stays. Every time we got back to the room, the beds were made, the bathroom cleaned and new towels and emptied rubbish. The room had a screen door so we could leave it open at night for fresh air. A nice clean sofa in the room for comfort and two office chairs at a wide desk. Heaps of room to move around and store things. Microwave and plates etc made it easy to prepare food. Would stay again for quick trips. Only five minutes from Gosford town and lakes. Thirty minutes to the beaches. The road was really quiet despite being the Pacific Highway. Also didn’t hear the trains much. The resident Thai restaurant was awesome. Very good Thai food. The portions were large. Authentic flavours of lemongrass and ginger. Yum.

We saw a giant cockroach on the last day running along the wall (I whacked it), so a pest control spray is due. Despite this, the room was always clean with bins replaced every day. Sometimes old places just have this problem, especially when in nature like they were. The bed was comfy but too soft so we got a sore back the first night. It’s also a very small bed for two. Plenty of room in there for a larger bed. Would love some gym equipment:)

I was there with my daughter and her Netball friends as there was a representative Competition in Gosford , location was excellent close to the netball courts, shops petrol station’s restaurants, place was clean, great pool area and facilities, reception staff amazing a great experience at a great price

Overall happy with the room, just few things to make the stay more comfortable…I forgot my mobile phone charger, the room did not have a USB charge outlet just lots of power points, bathroom fan turns on even though not needed, kept waking my daughter up, a sink to wash cutlery, dishes , cups and to wash our fruit and veg, nice if lights could dim a little

The location was perfect. Coles directly across the road. Laundromat and food outlets nearby. And the onsite restaurant was AMAZING! The room was a little old looking, there wasnt a door between the room and toilet which was weird and it gave me poo fright in front of my partner (lol) the gap under the door was big but the bed was so comfortable, the size of the room was exceptional and the spa was just want we needed after roughing it for a few days. We were only meant to stay one night but extended it for another night because we loved it that much! If we ever return to Gosford we will definitely book here again.

Really nice space to come and stay for a brief visit. The room was spacious, neat and tidy. We had a very late check in, and the management staff accommodated for that perfectly. I did call to ask them to send me the late check in details before my flight, so am unsure if they would have sent it later on without request. A simple, but nice breakfast was supplied from fridges in the foyer of the administration building. There were some pod machines there also, for a coffee. Will definitely return if in Gosford again.

I was sharing a double room with my 15 year old, normal for us when traveling. Yet this is the first time there’s been NO bathroom door! It looked like it had been removed, and so the bathroom/toilet had little privacy, (a mirror opposite the open door so you could see right in if you wanted to!)! We managed this very well, however I thought to note for other travellers if this could prove a problem. There was also a leak on the bathroom floor, as the floor remained wet beside the toilet for the duration of our stay.

The Select Inn was well equipped and very clean (one of the cleanest motel rooms we have stayed in). The room was large and comfortable, and the motel was only a short walk from Coles and Aldi, and numerous fast food shops (we enjoyed Hungry Wollf's pizza). Free Netflix was appreciated and the staff were courteous and friendly. Although there was a railway line directly behind the motel, we did not hear any trains at all.

Nothing was bad, but a few things to be aware of. 1) There was a reasonable range of breakfast choices (no hot food), but they were only available from a fridge in the reception area so were only available during office hours. 2) Access to the motel was only from the north bound lane; south bound travelers (like us) need to do a U-turn at the roundabout a few hundred metres south of the motel. 3) Our room had a shower over the spa bath, but people with limited mobility may find it hard to climb up the step into the spa bath.

Very clean with plenty of room. Bed was incredibly comfortable .

Breakfast was included in the cost but when we went to have breakfast at 7:40am everything including reception was locked up with no one on site. Emailed reception later and received a reply from them that reception is closed for late check-ins and early check-outs but no explanation as to why the breakfast room wasn’t open (I wouldn’t think 7:40 was too early for their breakfast room to be open)

Excellent value and a few things. Soap, conditioner, shampoo dispensers didn’t work. Small thing I know but was there for 5 nights. Cheap WC paper. Waste of time we use twice as much. Sorry. Room size exceeded my expectations. Very very clean and very comfortable except office chair. Has anyone ever sat in one? Nevertheless I stay again. The staff! The restaurant! Excellent restaurant. Excellent staff. See you next time.

It was an excellent location for Gosford racecourse where I attended a concert . Easy to park , clean rooms and pool . My only regret is a had no time to sample the outstanding looking menu at the restaurant . Highly recommend Select inn to friends and family travelling to this region

I realise the cleaners have to have their equipment in a set area , but luggage handling was difficult due to the myopic cleaner who had his shit near my car and could not or would not move it .

Large rooms and very clean. Rooms were serviced daily. Excellent continental breakfast choice for what it was. Help yourself to juice, nut bars, flavoured milk, fruit, muffins, noodles and cereals from a fridge in office. Take back to room to enjoy. Rooms exceptionally clean.

There were no power points beside bed for resmeds. Awesome Manager had extension leads on hand, so don't forget to ask if needed. Nothing too small or too hard for them.
