The staff was lovely. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The handbasin etc was very clean. The front of the toilet pedestal needs a good clean, though. I was very surprised that the floors in the passageway, stairwell and lift hadn't been swept or mopped for I don't know how long. (I did notice, though, after about 4 days there that the staff had actually gotten around to doing it.) The managers were very good and were really trying to get into the swing of things. They had only been there for a few weeks and I think they were still trying to find their way around.

Just that the floors needed to be swept and mopped. (As above.)

Location great, room met our needs and very pleased with microwave in room, wonderful pool,beds were very comfortable. great service and excellent management.As our plane was late getting in as a world wide outage and we received a phone call to make sure we were arriving which was very much appreciated and was there to welcome us.

The only thing toilet bowl needed a good clean.

Very very happy otherwise. Will return . Awesome that there was a lift in place. Was constantly advised re security , refurbishing .which was great

The staff/owners were very willing to go out of their way to help us. They brought us an extra bed as soon as we requested that. They allowed us to use their lock-up while we were away for a few days at no extra charge. We unfortunately had their room key when we left and they were happy for us to send it back when we had the opportunity. And they were friendly and chatty. It was very nice indeed.

The room was clean and well presented. The hotel is close to the city making walking to where I wanted to go so easily. I received easy and clear instructions on getting the key for my room.

The shower is old. Water took a long time to get hot, and the flow was not strong at all. The car park was not available due to major renovations.

Totally old school 1960s motel vibe, and showing its age in many places. But it all works and it's a great location and great bang for the buck at this price point.

1960s technology, no power next to the beds, limited power points overall. The place needs a bit more maintenance, poorly repaired holes in ceilings and walls drag the vibe down a bit.

Good location, value for money, and family that runs the place. I always appreciate coffee in-room, and they give a kettle with lots of sachets of instant.

Darwin’s night-walking street people could get too loud.

The location was very good as it was right next to crocosaurus and the busy night-life of Mitchell walking distance to shops

The fridge in the room was not working and my room was not made up when I put to sign at front of the door.

The people that run this place are the kindest people ever. They were super friendly from the moment we arrived and have been so incredibly kind to my boyfriend after we checked out. The room and pool were very clean and comfortable and it was great value for money. A perfect, central location too!

Close to everything in Darwin. Rooms kept clean. Good security. Helpful staff. Rooms were tired but comfortable, bed was large and comfortable.

This is a 3 star Hotel. All facilities are old and dated. It's not the Ritz!! This is budget accommodation and in need of updating BUT it's cheap and handy.
