All of the staff, including the cleaners were helpful and friendly.

The breakfast buffet was a bit lacking in variety. There should also be a clearer area outdoors for smokers. There's no point having them smoke outside if they can smoke in line with the front or rear doors as it creates a corridor of smoke and non smokers have to walk through it.

Wonderful staff and terrific value for money with a terrific restaurant attached and awesome buffet breakfast included (Yummo and one of the best) Wonderful location very close to everything including great shopping centres, all theme parks and the gorgeous broader Gold Coast and Surface Paradise . Sooo much to do every where Surf Lessons, Jet X Boat rides, Q1, Dreamworld, Movie world, Ripley, Glorious Surfers Paradise at night and day, Aqua Duck, all beaches stunning,upside down house, artvo etc. Definitely be back and also a great pool very clean and inviting.

Great facility, beautiful refurbished. Beds were super comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. Not too far from Pacific fair and surfers but just enough out that it was quiet. Pool was great, only downfall is they didn’t have umbrellas for shade, they were doing construction at the time and adding in a new pool fence etc but the sun was so hot and with no shade it was a bit disappointing we couldn’t enjoy the pool all day without being burnt to a crisp. The rump from the steakhouse was amazing that me and my partner had it every night for dinner. Very well priced as well. Will definitely be back.

No umbrellas (we’re doing construction so I assume they will be replaced soon).

What I liked about the hotel was the cleanliness and the friendly staff. I enjoyed dining at their restaurant, Lonestar Tavern, where we had delightful meals for three out of four nights. However, I found the breakfast buffet lacked variety, which made it monotonous to have the same options each day. I would have preferred more diversity in the hot food sections. Overall, I love the location; it's central to the places we need to visit.

I did not like the beds themselves. My whole family, including me, found them too soft; sleeping on them felt like sleeping on water, which was uncomfortable. As a result, my snoring kept my family awake most of the night, and it wasn't good.

I love staying here, this was about my fifth or sixth time at this hotel. Fantastic location for events like going to Dracula's, concerts at the stadium, close to the casino. Comfortable and quiet with free parking and breakfast included. Super comfy beds.

The wait staff at the breakfast buffet were a little over-zealous - I made my plate of food, put it on a table, then went to line up to make my cup of tea. In the meantime they cleared away my untouched plate of food, and then told me I had to start again. It's a mission when there are a lot of people in line at the buffet. The room description said it would have wine glasses, but there weren't any, nor saucers. These are pretty minor things though, for a great hotel.

My stay was reasonably good for what I looking forward to. The property seems like they were going through renovations with some areas. -I did like that it was close to the shopping centre. -The morning breakfast was great. -The layout of decor and furniture was good for my like. - the reception was friendly and informative of my enquires.

A few things I’ve noticed. -limited streaming platform on the tv. - phone wasn’t operating so I used my phone. -the pokies area , would love to see more different machines -would like to see more more variety of food choices/deals -wish they include a afternoon buffet. - the wifi can be slow at times -washing and dry operations small space.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and always found it enjoyable however this was the first time with the extended family and grandchildren and the hotel was excellent for a family stay. The pool is huge, clean and great for little kids with a large shallow area. The day beds had sun canopies which meant grandparents watching the kids in the pool didn't get burnt. The food at the bistro is fantastic as are the staff. The new little playground area for the kids in the bistro is small but clean, and with the "arcade" type area as well, it caters for most ages. If you up for it, you can even walk to Pacific Fair.

Surprised to be welcomed with the bright and newly refurbished lobby and lounge. Warm welcome were received at the reception and offered welcome drinks. Bonus: Sumptuous breakfast consists of pancake, cereal, yoghurt, pastry, ham, sausage, juices & hot chocolate for kids , nice coffee tea for adults . Basically everything you need for breakfast was there. We were fueled before heading to the theme parks for the entire duration of stay. Thank you!

After having to postpone our wedding at the Gold Coast Botanical Gardens and post wedding dinner at the Mermaid Waters Hotel due to Cyclone Alfred, we could not have been more pleased when Brodi (Functions Manager) was able to help us with a wedding venue and the dinner, the following week. Brodi and her staff went above and beyond to give us both the most amazing day we never thought would happen. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, great staff really make a hotel and all of the staff were exceptional. The hotel rooms were so clean and so spacious. The included breakfast was lovely, relaxing and had such a nice vibe, we also had dinner at the restaurant which was good. Pool and outdoor area was fantastic. The location is a fifteen minute walk to Pacific Fair and has a lovely little park across the road. It looks a little old from the outside but all of the internal finishes are modern, including rooms and bathrooms and everything was so clean. We were thoroughly impressed and would definitely stay here again
