All of the staff, including the cleaners were helpful and friendly.

The breakfast buffet was a bit lacking in variety. There should also be a clearer area outdoors for smokers. There's no point having them smoke outside if they can smoke in line with the front or rear doors as it creates a corridor of smoke and non smokers have to walk through it.

The king studio room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The room was nice and quiet with climate control. The bathroom was excellent and having a separate shower to the bath was a must. The fridge was suitable for our needs, however it had no freezer compartment. The parking was good and we were happy that our vehicle was kept in a gated carpark. The buffet breakfast was excellent with so many choices of hot and cold foods. We would definitely choose to stay again at this establishment. We were pleased that the bus stop was close by as we did not want to drive around the Gold Coast. Plenty of services and shops close by.

Wonderful staff and terrific value for money with a terrific restaurant attached and awesome buffet breakfast included (Yummo and one of the best) Wonderful location very close to everything including great shopping centres, all theme parks and the gorgeous broader Gold Coast and Surface Paradise . Sooo much to do every where Surf Lessons, Jet X Boat rides, Q1, Dreamworld, Movie world, Ripley, Glorious Surfers Paradise at night and day, Aqua Duck, all beaches stunning,upside down house, artvo etc. Definitely be back and also a great pool very clean and inviting.

Could be a tad cleaner however pretty good

The beds were amazingly comfortable and a great size. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had the bonus of a bath, which is very rare in most accomodations. It was also very spacious. The nice little balcony, was a bonus. The complimentary buffet breakfast was greatly appreciated, considering we were on a tight schedule and absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for better accommodation for our quick overnight stay.

Nothing....We only stayed for one night. We didn't get to utilise all of the facilities which was a shame, but now we know where we can ,stay if we visit again :-(

Overall the facilities were very good. The room was clean and the beds comfy.The water was nice and hot for a shower which made for a pleasant stay and the location was fantastic for visiting all the sites..

I must say the real let down was the food served for breakfast. Unless you wanted cereal or bread most of the hot food was tasteless and the scramble eggs were very watery just to state a few of the items. Only one lift was working during our stay despite these minor things our stay was very nice and I would like to try again. Only problem we experienced with the room was with the TV which would not turn on but was partially rectified. Really a new TV was needed.

Cleaners need to vacuum under the edge of the bed. My 4yo found fake nail. Ordered a scotch from the bar on the rocks. 40min in and still had not come out. Turns out they had run out but no one bothered to come over to tell me this or to ask for a suitable replacement. Instead I had to leave my table with my 3/4 finished meal to go do their customer service job. Upon arrival, you must show a physical card. This almost became an issue as I dont carry physical cards with me any more.

Super friendly staff very helpful and went above and beyond to assist with the later arrival of my partner so i could stay comfy n cosy and not have to leave the room in the dark and cold so he could check in. Room felt cosy and great blockout curtains

The top of the bed had a couple hairs on it so we just used our own blankets on top of the bed. The bathroom also had a couple hairs on the floor and one midway up on the back of the bathroom door. But understand these things happen and was just happy to enjoy a couple nights away and wanted stress free time not worrying bout things. It'd be good if the brekky went til 10.30am ? As we didn't get to try the complimentary brekky nor have the complimentary drinks during our stay. We wanted to relax enjoy a lie in esp being mothers day and not have to feel rushed ...

Great facility, beautiful refurbished. Beds were super comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. Not too far from Pacific fair and surfers but just enough out that it was quiet. Pool was great, only downfall is they didn’t have umbrellas for shade, they were doing construction at the time and adding in a new pool fence etc but the sun was so hot and with no shade it was a bit disappointing we couldn’t enjoy the pool all day without being burnt to a crisp. The rump from the steakhouse was amazing that me and my partner had it every night for dinner. Very well priced as well. Will definitely be back.

No umbrellas (we’re doing construction so I assume they will be replaced soon).

I love staying here, this was about my fifth or sixth time at this hotel. Fantastic location for events like going to Dracula's, concerts at the stadium, close to the casino. Comfortable and quiet with free parking and breakfast included. Super comfy beds.

The wait staff at the breakfast buffet were a little over-zealous - I made my plate of food, put it on a table, then went to line up to make my cup of tea. In the meantime they cleared away my untouched plate of food, and then told me I had to start again. It's a mission when there are a lot of people in line at the buffet. The room description said it would have wine glasses, but there weren't any, nor saucers. These are pretty minor things though, for a great hotel.

What I liked about the hotel was the cleanliness and the friendly staff. I enjoyed dining at their restaurant, Lonestar Tavern, where we had delightful meals for three out of four nights. However, I found the breakfast buffet lacked variety, which made it monotonous to have the same options each day. I would have preferred more diversity in the hot food sections. Overall, I love the location; it's central to the places we need to visit.

I did not like the beds themselves. My whole family, including me, found them too soft; sleeping on them felt like sleeping on water, which was uncomfortable. As a result, my snoring kept my family awake most of the night, and it wasn't good.
