The bed was comfy and room dark. I slept through 8-9 hours straight. Most unusual for me! It had an ensuite so I didn't have to leave the room for the bathroom.

The light switch and Power point in the bathroom were broken and hanging out of the wall. The room was tiny. Just a little bigger than the bed! The fridge was frosted over. No freezer door. Looked like bums may have lived there. There were drugged out looking characters lurking around. I didn't feel like my possessions were safe around them. The door lock was the most simple to circumvent. No laptop/valuables safe. No PowerPoint near the bed or charging point for the phone.

I needed to be close to my rental property meeting some consultants and booked this motel. Wow what a good job they have done. EVerything I needed - very comfy bed, all the amenities, a shower that is hot with great water pressure. Thanks Horizons I was very happy and comfortable. So close to all the Nobby Shops too.

There is the construction work happening at the moment, but it didn't bother me hardly at all.

The motel was clean, easy to combine 2 beds into one, lots of powerpoint plugs, easy to signin and out, tiled floor looks cleaner than carpet. Felt safe. Location is near some restaurants, I went to the yorkie rippa for a unique yorkie experience.

Old shower but functional. Water pressure is good and quick to achieve hot/warm shower. No body wash, only soap + shampoo.

The staff at Horizons were excellent, very friendly and helpful, especially for travellers who arrived later than expected. The location was perfect given the event I needed to attend was down the road at Miami and down the block were some great establishments if you were in need of something to eat or drink.

There was nothing I didn't like about Horizons is was neat and clean and tidy and provided me with what I needed for the one night.

The location was perfect for our trip, which was to attend a rugby league match at Robina. Being lowset also suited due to my husband's poor knees. The room was neat and tidy and had everything we needed. Value for money.

The pillows were a bit too soft but there were plenty of them. The hot water in the shower took a while to come through.

Location was great for price just a 2 min walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes. There was a lovely pool area, room was good motel quality and free parking!

The ladder in the pool was a bit old-school but nothing to complain about or anything.

the owner was very nice and even let us check out late as we wanted the next day at no extra charge which was really nice as we couldn’t check in to other motel that we were staying in next day till 2pm so it was really nice when the owner of the horizon said we could stay as long as we need to the next day at no charge not many motels will do that highly recommend the horizon motel mermaid beach

no there wasn’t anything I didn’t like everything was great

It was close to everything, it was definitely nice for a one night, wish we stayed there longer but it wasnt available for the dates we wanted. Its spacious than other motels and worth the money!

Just the lighting, the lamp was probably brighter than the lights

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely room - very tastefully decorated. Good location, even with all the road works, and super close to great eateries. We'd definitely stay again!
