The location was very convenient to Pacific fair for work

That the reception did not open until 9.30m and I had to postpone my leaving to get my cash deposit back as I could not have the $100 head for any length of time.

Within a 4 minute walking distance to cafes (Le Cafe Gourmand is a must try!) Pacific Fair literally just across the road. We stayed here to go to the Juiceyfest concert that was a 20 minute drive away (We ubered). We didn’t mind the location at all it was just a place for us to sleep & be out and about for the 4 days we were there, so most of our time was spent outdoors. The staff were very friendly. We had our own rental car so parking availability was right in-front of our doorstep. Cavill Avenue close by and has many great food spots and attractions.

Wifi not so strong from our room. Couldn’t connect unless we were closer to the reception office. The designated smoking area is right next door to it and I vape, so I sat here for a good 5-10 minutes each day with my coffee just to update my gram before heading out lol

Cleanliness and location. Free snack was nice also microwave and iron. Bathroom has been renovated. Shutters kept noise out

Bed was old. Also air con and bathroom fan need updating. Lots of roadworks which can’t be helped

The room was tidy, the staff at the desk were helpful, it was fairly quiet considering the City of Gold Coast night roadworks out front of the hotel. Close to the beach, and easy to park on site.

I was arriving late, and had a request to send my credit card and licence details over the phone. I refused to do this for security reasons. I was able to go into the office the day before my stay & provide details & the staff were helpful. However people travelling a long distance wouldnt be able to do this.

The location is convenient, late check-in arrangement is good.

Hard to communicate via telephone as no body answer the call.

Great stay, clean room and bathroom. Easy to find remote for aircon and TV, both worked well. Code for internet on the wall, easy to use. Toiletries included, towels, place had kettle, toaster etc. Everything clean. Checkin went quickly. Free parking spots just outside door. It is a old motel , but super clean inside, great location, opposite Pacific Fair. Had a small pool, never had time to check it out. Great one night stay.

Look on the door tricky, but I am sure they can fix it.

Loved that it’s close to everything, there’s the shopping centre at the front, the beach behind the motel and a tram infront of the shopping centre. It’s also not too far from the airport. The room itself was a good size and it was enough for our stay. It did have a strange subtle smell when we first walked in but it disappeared after like 30 mins 🤷🏽‍♀️ Also the room came with a smart TV!! 🙏🏿

Was just a little confused why the fridge looked like it was shot up 😭 other than that the motel was really good :)

Brilliant Location! Short walk to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre & Casino,, so we decided to walk instead of drive and park. Found the room clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and find it good value. Stayed for 2 nights and always had a free parking spot at Motel. The Receptionist, who also does Housekeeping, was very friendly and welcoming.

The rusty door on the small fridge was a bit off putting. Rusty door handles on bathroom vanity. Once the Fridge and door handles are replaced, it will make such a difference to the appearance of room 3. It didn't take away from the comfortable stay we had at Tropicana Motel though!

Smooth check-in,friendly,great price, very comfortable, airconditioning, tv and bar fridge, modern,lovely hot water pressure in shower, location of trams, perfect for shopping, convention centre and beach. Prompt refund of security deposit. Pool available but due to weather we didn't use. Easy checkout key deposit slot .Will definitely return.

If I have to be picky the lovely modern unit needs a bigger mirror in the bathroom, its too small and placed to high up on wall. Moldy shower caddy.
