Location convenience

Our room was in a bad position with no view except for a concrete wall.We were there for 3 days and they did not have all the rides operating due to needing service. This was a lie as they obviously did this to save on staff wages so the line up on the rides was too long as they used one ride on 1 day and then closed it for "servicing" and opened another 1 the next day.

Considering the Sea World Resort was built in 1988, it is a relatively modern resort so presumably has been renovated a number of times. We had a 2 x double bed unit which was relatively spacious with a good sized bathroom, larger than normal fridge, presumably to cater for the larger families, and lots of storage space for your copious possessions. We would recommend a lower floor unit as this will give you either access to the pool area (noisy) or the garden area (quiet), the latter allowing the kids to play on the grass and for you to have a quiet, leisurely drink under the trees. The pool area is extensive, catering for all ages, but is obviously crowded at peak periods. Plenty of restaurant choices. We had an evening meal in the poolside eatery. Average prices ($27-$35) with kids options. Easy access to Sea World and , if you have a 3 theme park option, the better park in the peak tourist periods. Plenty of parking. In summary, the good place to take the family for a short break.

Pity the monorail into the Sea World complex is no longer operative as this would provide both a good overview of the theme park layout and easier transit between park locations and the Resort. The DJ music in the poolside eatery was too loud, too repetitive and I suspect of minimal entertainment value to the diners and close by pool users. Whilst this issue is not specific to the Resort, access to Movie World as part of a 3-park pass was very disappointing. Whilst admittedly we went at what was probably the busiest period of the year (post-Xmas), a 120 minute on virtually every ride, makes the rides almost inaccessible. 6 hours of queuing on a hot summer day for about 12 minutes of ride (3 rides) would not be fun, even for the most patient of park attendees.

Staying at Sea World Resort is extremely convenient, especially for families with young children. When the kids get tired, you can easily head back to the hotel to rest. I personally prefer a relaxed travel style, and during peak season, one day at Sea World really isn’t enough. Staying at the resort means you don’t have to rush to fit everything into a single day—you can simply continue exploring the next morning. Plus, the resort stay includes tickets to four major theme parks, making it a great value for money. There are also plenty of activities in the evening, including movie nights, a kids’ disco, and an open swimming pool, keeping the little ones busy and entertained all day long.

Pros 1.Staff are excellent, hotel facilities are really nice, kids loved the pool, my wife loved the Spa. 2. Good variety of restaurants on site that are reasonably priced. 3. Loved the evening buffet with the live music and face painting. 4. Walk in access to Seaworld Theme Park was great. Our tip is to use the hotel pool in the morning and then head to the theme park for the afternoon once the ques had died down.

Cons: 1. Quite far from the rest of the Gold Coast if you want to explore other theme parks / areas. 2. The rooms were really clean and staff were amazing. The shower/bathroom could have done with updating but it was acceptable for what we needed.

Loved the pool area, easy access to the park, enjoyed having our room tidied up for us each day. The concierge was very quick to deliver our bags to our room. Reception were very friendly and helpful. The lobby food was very nice and quite quick with getting the food out. Loved the pancake machine in the breakfast buffet. Overall a great family holiday. Our best yet!

We have a child with a lot of food allergies, there were barely any options for him at the buffet or any of the eating areas. Night time buffet was little pricey for a family of 5. I used the app to order clean towels (they never arrived).

Family friendly, reception, restaurant and concierge staff were outstanding, lots to do and see, a real holiday without the need to leave the resort. Restaurant dinner and breakfast buffets were great.

Bay Wing accommodation is a bit dated and tired looking. Have stayed in other parts of the resort and they are more modern. While we were at the pool some people left food on the outdoor tables (purchased from the bar area) and the seagulls came and made a hell of a mess, spreading it to the pool and surrounding areas, we asked a young staff member in the bar area to help us clean it up but she just stood there and said it wasn’t her job. She was not busy and did not notify other staff to assist either. Saturday afternoon 17/05/25

The entrance lobby is grand and really puts you in the holiday mood. Access to all 4 parks during our stay, multiple restaurants, pool, and splash park right outside our door. The Lobby bar for dinner was amazing, so tasty and "upmarket" yet super affordable. Friendly helpful staff. Easter Bunny was fantastic and made an effort to go round every table that was eating dinner and greet all the kids. Would definitely stay again!

Parking was impossible after driving out for dinner one night and we had to park on the street. Shower pressure was great, though it sprayed everywhere! Smelly bathroom overall. Would be amazing as a resort park to be able to access the park even 15 mins before the rest of the public. We had no milk for tea or coffee, and cups weren't washed on room turndown with no detergent available so we couldn't wash ourselves.

It was great how close the theme park was to the accomodation. Breakfast was good. The dance party with Dora, the Easter bunny, scavenger hunt and the movies on each night were all nice extras that the kids enjoyed.

You could very clearly hear the room next door through the door between two rooms. It felt like a normal bedroom door, instead of a seperate room.. it had a large gap under the door where you could see the light coming from the other room. We had two families while we were there that were very loud, and I’m sure we were loud because you could hear everything very clearly.

The facility itself is immaculate very appealing, the buffet breakfast, which was included, was amazing such a variety. The buffet easter dinner was a little priced but well worth it for a nice family meal. The regular season buffet is a lot better priced. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We had unlimited access to 4 theme parks for the duration of our stay including checkout day. The kids entertainment is just next level always something for them to do.

Meal options are limited to a high budget, especially for a family of 4 or more. To get milk we end up walking for nearly 2 hours round trip. Parking is never good but hasn't been since it opened, but there is a little parking area out the back, with gate access to resort. Room service is very limited

We celebrated our family reunion (4 families) at the theme parks and booked 4 rooms for our family to stay. The day of our check in while enjoying at the theme park, I got a call from Sea world resort offering us one of the rooms to be upgraded to a suite room and they said so that our family can even enjoy more our stay. It has its own lounge and a wonderful seaview from the room. I let may parents stay there for the night and our family had a chance also to stay for few hours in the lounge eating together and catch up. Thank you Sea world, we really appreciate the kind gesture for our family. Beds were comfy, rooms are clean and a nice swimming area. Wonderful buffet breakfast as well. Thank you.

The hallway to the rooms could probably be freshened up a bit, but overall it was a wonderful stay at the Seaworld resort.
