I stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment at Brighton Shores to recover post surgery. I loved the supportive and caring management—Rob and Karen made sure I was comfortable and well looked after during my stay. The apartment was beautifully presented with breathtaking views of the Broadwater and ocean. I appreciated the convenient location near shops and public transport. My friends who stayed to support me really enjoyed the excellent facilities, especially the heated pool. It was a peaceful, welcoming place to rest and recover.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded my expectations—it was a truly comfortable and supportive stay.

Brighton Shores is in a great location in Southport, with tram stop just around the corner and Woolies across the road. The view over the Broadwater was excellent from our 14th level unit. The double glaze windows cut out the road noise. The apartment was very comfortable and roomy. Access instructions were great.

A couple of downlights were not working, so had to get those replaced. A simple maintenance check could have avoided that, but the matter was attended to promptly. The east facing unit did get a tad warm in the early morning, but the view made up for that, as did the air con.

The property was well located for my needs, as I was travelling to the Gold Coast hospital every day, and the tram is right across the road. There is also a supermarket across the road and a few restaurants within very easy walking distance. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The gym is well equipped.

The pool is apparently heated and I would have liked to try it but it was being repaired while I was there.

The location was good, the view was excellent, the facilities were very good. Bed was comfortable, & most kitchen appliances were there to use.

There was no mirror at all in the bedroom, and the one in the bathroom didn't have very good lighting to put makeup on. The knives in the draw all needed sharpening. The air-conditioning would get too cold and then when you adjusted it, it was too warm.

Superb large 3 bedroom apartment on the 24th floor, great 270 degree views from around the apartment and nice to have a reasonable outdoor balcony area with lounge seating. Right outside tram stop so easy commute into Surfers.

There was a lack of drinking glasses and only got one dishwasher tablet, we were there for 5 days so expected enough for one a day. Blinds to the window/slider in the living would have been nice just to block out the early daylight coming through.

Facilities were great and not overly populated. for example a full sized billiard table seldom used. Indoor and outdoor pool and spa seldom used (but is winter). well stocked library. The proximity was close to trams and transport. Woolies and good eateries across the road. Just so relaxing (and so warm even in winter). Noticed dishwasher leaking and was attended to within a few hours.

dishwasher aged and clunky - too small ofr the dinner plates to wash correctly. Yep that sums up the negatives.

The apartment was spacious, large lounge area with a beautiful view. Location was excellent for cafes and restaurants and public transport.

There was only one lift working so wait time was quite long. The carpark is also a bit tight , smaller cars would be easier to negotiate.

The location was great - quiet but the hustle and bustle of Surfers was very accessible. Everything was close - we could walk to anything we needed. The facilities were fantastic. The heated pool and sauna were such a bonus.

The only issue we had was the state of the air vent in the bathroom. It needed a good clean.

Great sized 2 bedroom apartment, comfortable beds and lounge, great location for attending the Gold Coast marathon, easy access to grocery store, restaurants, cafes and tram line

Better block out blinds/curtains would have been great as the apartment got incredibly light as soon as the sun came up from 6am, this lead to our children waking VERY early each morning of our stay. Better equipped kitchen eg. Salt and pepper , chopping board , better knives etc

It was a nice unit with a good view. The area was very convenient as there was a woollies nearby and a few restaurants, including the tramstop.

The bed was hard and the pillows were very hard. The lounge doesn’t have much support.
