The hotel’s facilities and environment were very beautiful, but we were extremely shocked and disappointed to find three huge cockroaches in our room. My son and our family were very upset. The room needs to be properly pest controlled.

Room- very comfortable and always clean Staff- superb and always went above and beyond Pool- very big, lots of space, and seats

Buffet breakfast- wouldn't say value for money. The range is not as big as the Marriott buffet breakfast which is the same price and only about 5-10mins down the road. We came at 930 and they said they closed at 1030. By 10am, half the food was gone and not replaced. In general, food and drink is ridiculously expensive. So unnecessary to charge the prices they do.

We have stayed at the Sheraton several times over the years and have always found the Villa's comfortable and suit our needs. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and looked after us admirably. We did have a problem with ants in the kitchen but the weather was awful so I don't blame them for coming in. The staff in the restaurants were pleasant, extremely friendly and very attentive.

Young lady at the front desk really didn't seem that confident in what she was doing. As I had two booking, for us a 5 night stay and we booked a second villa for friends to come and catch up with us on the Saturday. We were over charged on the additional breakfasts and took some sorting but we got there in the end.

It was a lovely resort Having to option of the pool and beach was magnificent

The hotel needs to let people know about the facilities they have - for example I was not aware that there was a kids games room till I mentioned to a staff member that there needs to be more for kids to do at night and outside the pool - I didn’t know that they offered “go explore” travel cards and I spent 3 hours looking to buy one one evening They need to tell people or advertise what they have to offer. Also they need to improve on their house keeping most nights I would come back to my room and the beds weren’t made , no fresh towel or toilet paper

Great location and view, friendly helpful staff, amazing food, nice rooms, pools looked very pretty and will be great in the warmer months.

Air con in room was very noisy.

The Villa's are very comfortable, well laid out and big enough for a family of 4 or 2 couples. The lounge was a little worse for wear and could have done with a good clean. The housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff and even the grounds persons were chatty and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The amazing buffet breakfasts & the seafood buffet in the evenings was copious and fresh they certainly catered to most people. Unfortunately during our stay it rained and rained and rained. Nothing against the resort at all and umbrellas were supplied right through all venues.

Front of house, they were very slow and overcharged us for additional breakfasts.

Exceptional staff, which was helpful, friendly, and generously upgraded our room. The location was outstanding, the food was excellent, and the presentation was beautiful.

The decor was dated, the lamp shades were peeling back and freyed. The aircon was very noisy too. The pillows were sub par and thin compared to some other hotels of the same price. Our breakfadt was booked for 6am and 20 minutes late, which was annoying as we had to go to work at 6.30am and this left us late.

We stayed at the Sheraton for one night for a birthday celebration. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We did get a complimentary gift at the room for the celebration which was a lovely gesture from the hotel. The pool and hotel room looked a bit old but not too bothersome. Pool bar was great and there was yummy burgers being made by the pool as well as other menu choices offered. There was free icy pole at 2pm which was a great offer (not sure if this is offered all the time or because of school holidays). It looks like the hotel did some activities for the school holidays which was a nice gesture. Buffet breakfast was fantastic! Alot of variety which was good. Overall nice stay, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and the beach was behind the hotel.

There was no gym on-site. You had to go across the road. You have to scan a QR code and sign up, and the hotel charge a $30 deposit on your credit card if you do choose to utilise the facility. We were disappointed with the room. I had upgraded to a lagoon room which shouldn't be advertised as a lagoon room. Should be 'partial' or 'slight' view. There was more garden and a tiny corner of some lagoon. This won't be a top choice of hotel recommendation for me to give to any family and friends

The staff were fantastic, very friendly helpful and attentive. The breakfasts were great, huge choice and great coffee. Sparkling wine on arrival was a delightful surprise, checkin and out was seamless.

The hotel is very tired, common areas are well kept and have a luxury feel, but overall - needs a huge makeover. I understand the upkeep would be huge given it’s right on the beach and that’s a very harsh climate, salt air is very destructive. The gardens were well maintained but overall needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard. Room rate seemed high due to this.

The pool was insane, the breakfast was ok - nothing amazing, the seafood buffet was absolutely mind blowingly good, the cocktails were great, room service was great, location incredible.

The facilities are all pretty run down and average. It all just needs a good spruce up and a coat of paint. Everything looks a bit sad. The pool had obvious repairs required, there were rusty things, side of the pool had a big gaping hole thing where the lining was coming away from the wall, rotten wood on the swim up bar. But it was all still good and useable. In terms of the room, it was all pretty outdated. For a luxury resort, I would've thought it would have a proper shower, not a shower inside a bath, and it was a tiny bathroom. The rest of the room was real good though.
