Very comfortable, clean and tidy, kitchen supplies were well stocked (dishwashing liquid, cloths, tea towel) and a good sized sink in the main area too! The pool looked great too, but unfortunately we didn't get time to swim. Was a nice quiet place too - perks of a small town - and hardly any traffic noise after 10pm. When we checked in, we had been given a room next door to the smoking section, which the staff member realised and quickly changed us to be as far away as possible - very much appreciated!

The bathroom is fully tiled wall to ceiling, with those old school, small square glossy tiles, which made for a very slippery floor with wet feet from the shower. Also has a shower curtain which kept sticking to me as I was showering, ugh. I fully accept this little mishap is on me, but just a note, I had my toddler with me who snuck into the bathroom while I was unpacking and managed to turn on the shower tap (the hot one!!!) and drench herself; thankfully the water was still cold when I got in there, but just be aware the taps turn on incredibly easily so just make sure you have the bathroom door closed for little ones.

Older style room, but is was nice to have a little separate sink to fill the kettle. As we arrived after the office had closed, check in was a breeze, because staff had sent very clear instructions. The location opposite the beach was excellent. Ample parking.

Google maps sent us to 3 different locations. Finally after typing in the GPS coordinates we reached the correct place. Of course this has nothing to do with the motel itself.

The bed was comfortable. Everything needed was available in the room. the staff went over and beyond helping me out when I had lost my charger for my phone. It was too cold for a swim but I would have if the weather had been warmer. The room was clean.

Being short the only thing was that I had trouble reaching a cupboard with the toaster and jug but the staff were only too happy to put it away for me and would have got them down too if I had asked them. It is not that I did not like the issue with the cupboard, I often have trouble with things that are a bit on the high side, even at home.

Amazing location. The room was exactly what we needed for 2 nights. Beds were super comfy. Right across the road from the beach and was able to walk there.

Everything was great about this property apart from someone taking our car spot right in front of our unit and forcing us to park in the hot sun and cart everything across the road. Something more should be done to ensure all cars park in their right unit number. Other than that was an amazing stay.

No staff see except cleaners during our stay (cleaners were lovely), asked for recommendations for dinner with no reply. After dinner we found that your get 20% if you show room key at the pub close by. We had no idea about this until afterwards:(

The location was great, straight across the road from the beach and beach access. The price was quite good too. The room was plenty enough for the 3 of us. Clean and tidy and the beds comfortable.

The smoking area was quite close to our room. Which my partner liked (smoker) but me, not so much. There wasn't a hot tap in the kitchenette (so had to boil the jug) and the basin was quite small so washing up was a bit tricky - Not impossible, just ticky.

Clean and tidy room with lots of power plugs, staff absolutely friendly and helpful. I might be a bit too generous as I had a day off from Scout Camp and litteraly every shower and bathroom that wasn't a portable one would have been glorious for me at this stage. I had an absolute fabulous experience at the Motel.

All good, I arrived outside of reception times but that was all easily managed.

The bed was very comfortable, nice new fridge, free water bottle, bar stool and microwave. I would recommend it to friends and families. Location is top notch, across the beach. Had delicious dinner down the road as recommended by the receptionist with discount and a free bottle of house wine.

The bathroom is very dated, paints peeling off, needs to be renovated or a good of paint.

The room was what you would expect from a motel, however, the service provided by the desk staff went beyond expectations. We had an unusual request and there was never any problem in having it granted. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the staff were pleasant and obliging. The BBQ and associated facilities were clean unlike some of similar places we have stayed in.

We had no dislikes.

The property was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the amenities provided were perfect and beyond expectations. I would also like to mention the friendly staffs and welcoming vibe of the property. The pool area was quiet and clean. Would definitely recommend the motel and it will be my go to place at Hervey Bay from now 😊

We found 3-5 German cockroaches in spite of the room being very clean!! We’re on the ground floor. A better pest control would be great…
