I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful motel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the host, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for their guests made all the difference. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable — far exceeding expectations for a motel stay. Little touches like fresh towels, a well-stocked tea and coffee station. The location was convenient, the surroundings were peaceful, and everything worked perfectly — from the Wi-Fi to the hot water. The host even checked in to ensure I had everything I needed, which was greatly appreciated. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay with exceptional hospitality, this is the one. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything was to like about Reef Adventureland Motor Inn, it is the nicest place to stay. Clean, fresh towels daily if needed, beautiful sunlight shining through everyday. Exceptionally clean and had all the supplies you needed in the bathroom. You have the ladies checking in every morning if we needed anything to be topped up. Close to all the shops, cafes, Coles and fast food if needed. I recommend this accomodation for anyone, even families. Thank you again to all the lovely staff who made us feel welcome.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this place

From the moment we arrived and met the very friendly and helpful manager( Katrina), we knew we would enjoy our stay. We chose the Reef Motor Inn because it was dog friendly and we were so impressed with our choice. A ground floor apartment overlooking the grassed area. Comfy bed and great shower with constant hot water. Small kitchen area with all the essentials. Plenty of parking. Excellent value for money. We would thoroughly recommend it to other people and would stay again when next in the area.

We stayed here as a stopover and it exceeded our expectations. The location and the facilities were great. Being pet friendly is what won us over as we had our cavoodle with us and the room accommodated us having our dog. We were on the ground floor and had access to nice big grass area right outside our room. The room itself had everything we needed. It was so spacious and the beds were very comfy. Staff at the front reception were so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This is now one of my all time favourite hotels, I usually don't like dated hotels as they are often run down. Yes, the reef adventurer is a bit older but it's so well maintained and extremely clean. The views are phenomenal and arguably one of the best in Tannum Sands, I don't think there is a higher building. The gardens, grass, pool, everything is beautifully maintained. The receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. For our family it was perfect, the kids slept like a dream and the kitchen came in handy. I can't rate it highly enough!!!

Just a suggestion , enclose a corner of the lawned area, as fellow travelers with dog , including us commented that a safe fenced area for the dogs to safely interact would be perfect. Near room 13 .

We were warmly welcomed by Karina at Reef Adventureland. Our room was spacious and in good shape and looked out over the swimming pool from a small patio area. The motel is within walking distance of several places to eat as well as a large supermarket We were very happy with our stay and would also like to mention Karina's efforts to return an item we left behind. She went well above and beyond!

The personal service received by the manager Katrina was just amazing. She was extremely helpful and accommodating, she couldn't have offered any better service. The rooms were renovated and very very clean, you could see the effort staff put in. Would highly recommend this property for an upcoming stay!

Reef Adventure and Motor Inn provided myself and my partner with the cleanest property! After driving for 6 hours I wasn’t expecting much in the way of comfort and cleanliness, but I’m actually eating my words at how comfortable and clean the property was. The bed, pillows, sheets and the comforter were all so extremely clean and fresh.. Even when initially opening the room door there wasn’t any kind of musty smell and it was just so fresh. Well done team!! We will be back!

The property's location is brilliant - walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. The (upstairs) room was spacious with the option of flow-through fresh air, had lovely ocean views, an oh-so comfy bed and pillows, the staff were welcoming and friendly, the car access and parking were excellent, and the whole property well maintained. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tannum Sands!
