Very friendly and accommodating staff. Let me delay check out for as long as possible so that I could attend meetings. Car parking was available and extremely convenient. Will absolutely stay there again.

Read a couple of reviews about the current state of affairs at this hotel - they were less than flattering to say the least. My stay was the complete opposite, couldn’t fault the place for the money. People writing negative reviews either must be able to consistently get 5 star rooms for 3 star prices, or are a bunch of snowflakes!

I was most pleased to see that the window in the bedroom could be opened and the air conditioning turned off at night. It can't be opened all the way which is fine, it is enough to get some fresh air in. A lot of hotels block off windows and that makes rooms stuffy and with air conditioning, cold and noisy. The cleaning of the rooms was spotless. On the hot nights is was wonderful to be able to get a cup of cold water as soon as you walked in the door. A suggestion: It would be even better if you added a couple of slices of lemon and orange. The staff were helpful which is always an advantage and on duty all night so you feel safe coming back late.

The carpets are very worn and could do with replacement. The location is fantastic with the Rail station across the road and a tram top outside and the hotel is handy to the festival precinct and the Botanic Gardens. However a big disadvantage that the hotel can't really do anything about is having to walk past that hotel a couple of doors up at night with gambling that has drunks spilling on to the pavement and a curtain of cigarette smoke that you have to walk through. The hallways upstairs are very long and a bit gloomy and could be brightened with some scenic prints along the walls.

The location is excellent. The train station is directly across the road, and it was only a short walk of 6 to 8 minutes to the Pioneer Women's Gardens, the Torrens River, Pancake Kitchen, and an excellent Indian restaurant. Woolworths and a post office were about a 10 minute walk away. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I liked the little extras the hotel offered. E.g. there was a water cooler downstairs for guest use. The bed was good: I slept well in it. And the bathroom was spotlessly, sparkly clean!

The air con was a little too cool for me, but I asked for and received an extra blanket, so that was easily sorted. I think my room was near a big laundry so for one of the three nights there was an hour or so of mechanical noise. (There was no microwave in the room: not a big deal for me, but worth knowing.)

The room was very good, spacious and well appointed. For a fee there is secure underground parking. Situated right at a tram stop there is no limit to travel around Adelaide city. Very close to RAH if you are visiting family which in this occasion we where. A bonus directly across the road from the casino if your into that type of thing or at the very least you can have an exceptional value meal. The staff are exceptional.

Structural columns down the passage ways albeit they are necessary. There are two disabled parking spots, however more suited to medium to small vehicles.

Close location for convention centre, transport, shops and restaurants, really cannot be beat in terms of location. Relatively newly renovated and furnished. Friendly and helpful staff. Never had to wait at all. Pretty clean

An older building with a slow lift. Shower a bit small and window looked out to a brick wall. Could hear some noise from outside even with the windows closed, not that well sound proofed from the corridor. It was pretty clean except I did find a hair stuck on the lamp on my desk which was a bit gross but in the scheme of things pretty minor

Fantastic location for all the cultural sights, museum, gallery etc. Short walk to the Botanic Gardens and Riverside, short walk to main shopping area and Central Market.Directly opposite main train station and tram stop for travel to beach at Glenelg. Overall fantastic location. The hotel itself is very clean and welcoming. The double room I had was well appointed with good shower/bathroom facility. I had breakfast....basic cereals,toast,pastries,fruit....fruit juice, tea and good coffee. It was basic but none the less convenient rather than having to go out.Staff were really good and helpful.

The room sadly was "internal" and therefore had little natural light and no view of any kind. I recognise that the structure of the building is the reason, but I would have preferred the option to pay more for a different room if necessary if I had been advised.

The location is fantastic. We went for Gather Round and it's only a 10 or 15 minute walk to the Adelaide Oval. There's heaps of convenience stores and cafes around the hotel. There's a pub directly next door if you want pre game drinks. Perfect no frills accomodation in the city. Straight across the road from casino. The room was huge. The staff were all friendly.

It's a very basic hotel. No room service just vending machines on each level which are handy. The carpark is pretty small and very tight to get into but they have an overflow carpark about 50m down the road which they will give you a voucher for if other ones full so all good. Some new carpet and an updated TV wouldn't go astray either.

The hotel's proximity to Adelaide Oval suited me perfectly and having Reception open all the time made me feel safe as I was travelling alone. Being able to park underneath is a great bonus, especially being able to bring bags up in the lift!

My room just faced into a wall outside, but I guess that's inevitable given the location. It would have been nice to have a view over North Terrace, but that is probably restricted to more expensive rooms! I have stayed in this hotel on several occasions. I wish we could go back to the yummy breakfasts you used to offer before covid! I don't bother to get breakfast at the hotel any more.

The hotel was modern, clean with great facilities. The pool and tennis courts were an added bonus. The gym was well equipped with good air conditioning for some very hot days! The property is located directly opposite the tram stop and is about a 10/15 minute walk to Rundle Mall - the hubbub of the city centre in terms of shops , bars , restaurants . Staff were friendly and helpful - enabled me to have an early check in and a late check out!

The bed was comfortable, the view was of the hotel next door, so not great. It's a little tired, probably time to renovate. All in all an okay experience.

What i didn't like are niggles nothing of any great importance. Renovation would be a great idea as the rooms, soft furnishings, carpets are looking tired. I had little trouble with the shower screen as it became derailed, i had one just like it so knew what to do, others wouldn't. And the valve in the cistern was a little leaky so that would certainly help your overheads to fix that.
