I had asked for a room facing North Terrace as a friend told me it would be quieter than facing Hindley Street. We were given a room on North Terrace BUT it was a corner room right next to a construction site next door. The bedroom window and balcony actually overlooked the site! We enquired at Reception whether there might be another option before we unpacked and Amber was very helpful and gave us another (bigger and better) room, still facing North Terrace but on a higher floor and with a KS bed. This room was very comfortable and overlooked the Adelaide Convention Centre. It was noisy when the balcony doors were open but otherwise quiet. Our room was right opposite the lift but over the course of 7 nights, only one night had noisy people outside our room at midnight. The bed was very comfortable but we used our own pillows from home. There was supposed to be a dryer but there was none as a new one was on order. However, Amber to the rescue again with two clothes airers and each time we washed our clothes, they dried pretty much overnight. The air con worked well. The kitchen had everything we needed, although additional Nespresso pods were $1 each from Reception. The location was excellent, within walking distance of trams, trains and buses, Rundle Mall, the MOD museum, The Jam Factory and places to eat. Adelaide Oval, the Tennis Centre, the Convention Centre, Festival Theatre and Sky City were just across the road. The Botanical Gardens and other museums/galleries were only a (free) tram ride away. We had read/heard that car parking was difficult but we were able to park underneath without a problem. It does cost an extra $30 per day though.

The bathroom was very outdated. The grout was very dirty and the toilet roll holder on the wall was loose. Water from the shower kept escaping under the shower door, making the bath mat soaking wet every day. The towels were more grey than white and some had bad stains on them. The toilet paper was too thin. The light in the fridge flickered badly every time the door was open.

The room was spacious, great having our own kitchen 2 bedrooms and Laundry. Great parking facilities and location. It really did feel like our home away from home.

Unfortunately due to the new development building next door, the lights on the sign for the new development and crane shined directly into our room and even with blockout blinds it is very bright and hard to sleep. Traffic is very noisey especially street cleaners, police cars and we were on the 13th floor. The shower/spa bath was scratched which made it feel dirty it really needs some TLC. Could do with some more kitchen utensils, has oven but no oven trays.

Nice and clean property with a great city location. Room had everything we needed. Kitchen supplies were well stocked if you wanted to cook. Full size fridge/freezer plus a washing machine & dryer which came in handy. There was construction outside our balcony, but the doors did a great job of muting the noise to the point we hadn’t realised they had started work until opening the balcony door. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The only thing we found lacking were the pillows. They are quite low & soft even after stacking 2. All personal preference I guess but having 1 a bit firmer would have been great.

12th floor, right hand side of building. Queen bed. Plenty of room in apartment, very spacious & comfortable. Asked for 3 extra pillows & got them no problem. Happy to pay for parking. Coffee Club on ground level perfect for breakfast Pool was lovely but shame Spa was out of order, was looking forward to trying it out. Washer, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer included

Only 1 soup/Cereal bowl. Microwave is in a very bad position. Too dangerous to use, too hight up incase of spillage taking hot items out. Needs to be addressed urgently. Would also be better with a King size bed.

This was a return visit for my wife and I. We stayed at the Embassy 18 months ago and were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the convenience of the coffee club in the hotel and the level of comfort. We don't like cities but the Embassy is comfortable enough to make you forget you're in the heart of a major city. The rooms are clean and nicely presented and large enough for friends to gather for a coffee and a chat. We will definitely stay at the Embassy again when we are next in the city. Thankyou

The only downside this trip was the construction next door. We understand this is beyond the control of the hotel and as such this has not tarnished or influenced the opinions of my wife and I.

We had an excellent view lookin out to the West of the City, could just see the ocean and airport, seeing the planes come in at night looked amazing. Loved being able to use the pool (bit chilly though) and having a sauna after walking around the city taking in the sites. Can walk to Rundle mall quite easily and then walk back or hop on the tram and get a ride back. Has a great eatery on the bottom floor which enables you to get a good breakfast and coffee in before heading off.

No Spa still, no lock up garage for the car, TV in bedroom very small

Hassle free check-in/checkout, great price for a weekend booking, courteous staff, comfortable nice sized apartment with a nice city facing view from the 10th floor.

We ordered Menulog through the hotels specified set menu, which in itself was far too small (choice of 4 restaurants) and a hefty 15% tax on-top of the already steep Menulog price - however the food never came, after waiting close to an hour the food was never dropped off and we were not able to order elsewhere so they should look at teeing up with uber rather than Menulog. Also, the bed was infact 2 beds joined together, which can make for an uncomfortable rest.

We stayed two nights here. The location was great for city convenience. Was happy to have a decent sized balcony however the veiw was a giant brick wall. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was a good size. The only issue was the shower leaking all over the bathroom floor every time we showered. Also could be more generous with the amount of towels, as they were wet after our first shower and didn't dry much in the two nights we were there, obviously I should have asked for more. All in all we were reasonably happy with the accommodation.

Great location on North Terrace, with the free trams running by regularly, and close to the main train station. Good kitchen and lounge area with natural light; internal bed and bathroom. Great Cafe with good menu at reasonable prices.close to Botanic Garden, Art Gallery, University and many places of interest.

Balcony and outdoor table covered in thick layer of dust. Yes, a building in progress next door, but obviously no effort being made to eliminate dust on a regular basis.

The room was very comfortable, bed for two people was big and comfy, kitchen was functioning well. Access to the tram was very easy, to get to the entertainment centre. Pubs and restaurants in walking distance, as well as a convenience store. The Mall is not far either. All in all a pleasant experience. Thank you.

Communication with regards to parking our car could have been better. We were quoted $20 per day , however had to pay $30 per day instead. Unfortunately we did not take note of the person‘s name that dealt with us nor did we get this quote in writing. The room was fitted out with disability equipment in bathroom/shower, which we didn’t require. Bathroom sink was much too low, and toilet too high.
