Check in staff were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was big and very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located and walking distance to everything. Breakfast was very good and a great to start the day. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful, overall the staff we met with were great at their job. We swam in the rooftop pool and it is a beautiful area, a big bonus for an inner city hotel. We would definitely stay here again. We hadn’t realised when booking the Adelaide Fringe Festival was on, the town was buzzing with shows and experiences.

I stayed over new years so I didn’t get to experience the restaurant unfortunately but I had a lovely swim in the pool and the location of the hotel is super convenient, right next to all the bars,cafes and clubs! Along side Rundle mall for shopping! My room was clean and cozy I loved the bedding and size of my room, I stayed by myself but you definitely could fit two adults comfortably! I loved the bed and balcony! The air conditioning was perfect! I booked a spa room, when I arrived my spa hadn’t been cleaned,there was random sticky tape left at the bottom and it had gray marks in the spa, however staff were very quick to come clean it for me and apologised. I’ve stayed at the Rockford three times now and every time has been pretty close to perfect 😍 one thing I’d love to see is updated TVs so I can connect my Netflix and YouTube other then that I’m over 100% coming back asap I felt like I could live there! I was sad to leave 😭

Air conditioning - didn't work the greatest. Balcony - no privacy between rooms and on one side you could walk thru to the other room. Balcony rail covered in spiderwebs, with spiders! Buffet breakfast - pastries were a little disappointing, actually, there were no pastries and the scrambled eggs were a weird texture with little taste.

My room was spacious and clean. There was a little balcony as well. The hotel was clean and quiet inside. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. The location was just perfect! Not too far from the beach(20-minute drive) and walk away from the buzz in the city. Pool available on the roof as well. We also got free water, which many hotels don't do anymore. Nice big glass bar fridge. Modern and spacious. I would definitely return.

No free parking. However, we did purchase parking for 30 dollars a night at reception and received a coffee each with it.

LITERALLY THE BEST PLACE I'VE EVER STAYED. We had two separate bookings and Rockford combined them very happily for us, then UPGRADED US??? So we ended up in their biggest suite!! Incredibly comfortable beds. The shower pressure was 100% adjustable so it was the best shower I've ever had. Breakfast was fantastic. We got $10 vouchers for their restaurant every day we didn't have the room cleaned so breakfast was cheaper. The night before we checked out, I asked at 11:40pm for late check out and they gave it to me for no expense and no problem!! Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone if they're staying in Adelaide CBD!!!

I wish the rooftop pool was heated :')

Location was great to be able to walk to many places of interest and salt pool on the roof. Secure under cover parking. Room size was great and the staff were always smiling.

No toilet brush or facility to hang wet clothes (ie. temp clothes line) in bathroom. No safe in room and no toilet facility at the pool area, had to use lift to go back to room or ground floor.. Lack of shade over pool and very hot floor tiles surrounding pool (way too hot for young children). Bar and restaurant closed Sunday.

Located central to Adelaide city, on the corner of 2 busy streets. Mid week the hotel is reasonably quiet. Weekends would be very noisy, so request a room on L5 at the back. We used a car and pre-purchased car parking but there are only a few parking spaces on the premises, book well in advance. Easy access by train from Adelaide Station. Not far from the airport and about a $25-30 taxi fare. Breakfast was nice with a good buffet selection. Room was comfortable with a nice bed and pillow selection. Super clean. Check-in was OK, but I was uncomfortable with leaving C-Card details on their system for check out so they placed a $200 hold on the hold for incidentals. We settled on exit and the hold was released OK. In all our stay was much as expected, and good.

Car parking was tight. Barrista coffee at breakfast was aweful. Otherwise, no complaint.

Very comfortable bed and even pillows were quite good - not flat and lifeless. Loved being able to open the balcony door and let in lots of cold air. Slept like a log. Staff were just lovely. Five minutes walk from Imprints Booksllers. Uncover parking onsite was brilliant for my Prado - it fit the height restriction.

A little far from Rundle Mall and Cinemas, but only because I rely on walking. Download the Adelaide Metro App and the trams and buses are quick and easy.

We had a great 8 day stay over the March 'Festival' period. Easy access to the Tram service or easy walking distance to most things. Comfortable suite. A bit tired...but otherwise okay. Good breakfast every morning in the restaurant. Lovely pool for Adelaide's hot days. Guest Laundry and Parking available. All in all a very comfortable stay.

Parts of the common areas were a bit tired looking but otherwise fine.

Location was perfect as my nighttime event was a couple of minutes drive to port road hindmarsh. Parking was secure and I was able to leave and return with my car conveniently after my event and get to my room safely at the end of the night using the lift in the carpark basement. The room was lovely. Facing Hindley street on a Saturday night I expected some noise but wasn't disturbed, could hardly hear the nightlife activity. The bed was very comfy and breakfast from the buffet in the morning was great. I was able to take it back to my room on a tray
