For an exceptional overnight stay, a weekend getaway, or an extended visit, I highly recommend the Rex Hotel on Richmond Road. Its convenient location provides easy access to public transportation and is ideal for exploring the beaches, hills, or city center by car. The on-site pub and restaurant, offering exquisite cuisine, along with the exceptional and attentive staff, contribute to an unparalleled guest experience. Based on my extensive global travel, the Rex Hotel surpasses all others in terms of value, service, and overall satisfaction.

Absolutely nothing at all.

This place has FAR exceeded my expectations, the only reasonably priced accommodation in Adelaide during the recent P!nk concert and I am THRILLED that I stayed here. From the moment I arrived and Terri checked me in, I instantly had a great impression of this place. The staff are all outstanding, overly accommodating of your needs, they go the extra mile and are very happy in their jobs and proud of the place they work at. The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, I’ve paid a lot of money for accommodation around the world that does not compare. The room is decently sized, has recently been renovated, is extremely clean, the photos are an accurate description of the room. The rooms are above the pub which is also renovated, the food selection is incredible, the bus dropped me right at the front of the property and the Uber on return to the airport took about 10 minutes. It felt like a very safe area which reigns high on my importance as a solo, female traveller. There aren’t enough stars to give this place and regardless of any other choice, I’ll be staying here on all future returns to Adelaide.

Close to the airport. The lady in reception was very accommodating. She allowed us to check in early with our luggage as we had to return a hire car. She was kind, respectful, and very informative.

The staff in the restaurant could have been more professional and accommodating considering we waited 50 mins for entrees, 30 mins for drinks, and then 45 mins for mains. We had to wave staff down to ask about our meals as the bar was hardly attended. The lady in the restaurant was quite rude and offered no compassion due to the wait times and the fact we were in house guests. More communication could have turned our night around, but we were sitting there wondering what had happened to our money that we had spent in the venue. Also, we used the ordering app on the tables, and there was very poor communication around the ordering- maybe more training needs to happen within the kitchen and bar/wait staff. It is very disappointing as the location is great for travellers.

The lady at reception was wonderful and helpful. The room was very clean and had extra blankets and plenty of pillows. There was complimentary water bottles in fridge. There was plenty of free parking and the location was great. Not far to go to the CBD, airport or Glenelg. Oh and water pressure and large rain style shower head was great.

There were 3 of us and only 2 towels in bathroom but we could have requested more... the bathroom was very small, you could almost brush your teeth and sit on the loo at the same time... but we didn't... lol

Perfect for 1 night before having to road trip out of town. Room was super clean, modern and had every amenity you could think of. Shower was amazing, super hot and great water pressure.

As we arrived late check in was a little confusing as I needed to go into the gaming room to find someone to help up but otherwise super straight forward.

Nice renovation of the room and bistro. Relatively close to cbd with easy uber access. Food in the bistro was quite good quality and value.

Pretty industrial area with very limited options outside of the hotel. Sports bar lacked the renovated feel of the other hotel areas. No real breakfast options on offer.

Location is excellent and close to city. Food in bistro is great and can order from the table which saves a lot of time. Beds are really comfortable and shower is lovely. Parking is excellent.

There is no one on reception overnight and early in morning if you accidentally lock yourself out of the room!

I like everything was so handy , room was small but full of facilities like type c charger, Iron and stand , wall hanging hooks, blanket. These are the items which we don’t see in every hotel. Thanks

Good location , 10 mins from city and 15 from Glenelg+ Marion Small nice up to date rooms Friendly house keeper who made sure room was okay and got me fresh towels and water- very appreciated Definitely will stay again.

Noise travelled (can’t be helped) did settle after a while

Great location and lovely renovation makes the property seem very nice and comfortable. Room is small but plenty of room if you’re just staying there and exploring/ leaving the next day.

Beds were too soft for my liking and corridor/reception was somewhat noisy until around 12 but overall I wouldn’t say “noisy” to describe it.
