Everything was truly delightful and unsure where to begin... One of the best pub stays we have had our whole lives and has made us rethink staying more frequently at pubs. We were enormously fortunate to find the last room during WOMAD / Fringe / Adelaide festivals period and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The pub is conveniently located on the city fringes and about ten minute drive to either Henley or Semaphore beaches. Rooms are excellently equipped with everything a person needs, the kitchen was tasty and the bar had exquisite service. A big mention to Heather and Patrick for being extremely lovely and helpful. On the next visit to Adelaide, Mile End Hotel is a contender!

I stayed here for two nights. In the event that you are unaware, the rooms are situated above the bar. I stayed in room 8. The facilities toilets shower and kitchen were shared and were kept properly organised and clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. It was delightful and quiet during my stay, as construction was temporarily suspended due to the Easter weekend. I could hardly hear the noise from downstairs. The sole item for which I am required to provide feedback is that the cleaner hadn't properly made my bed even though I had requested that my room be cleaned :( Otherwise, my stay was good. Car park is opposite the drive thru alcohol which is located next to the hotel.

The room was perfect. Very clean. The location was great with a bus stop out front and short walk to Thebarton Tram Stop. There are plenty of cafes nearby. And the food at the pub was excellent. The staff throughout the hotel were super friendly. The manager, Patrick, and Heather from housekeeping were extremely helpful Highly recommended

There is no ceiling fan in the small dining area set aside for residents. It was very hot during my 5 day stay, and a fan would have dealt with the hot air for a small outlay.

Really friendly staff, food is fantastic, location great bus stop right outside, room No1 very clean, bathroom brilliant, garden/outside area fantastic.

The taxi driver (john, english Cypriot) who said he owns a taxi firm. Said in 20 years had never taken anyone to the mile end hotel. So said it must be rubbish, he was totally wrong. Only reason I didn't give it 10 out of 10 was the TV in the room was really old with about 10 channels, which I couldn't link to my phone to watch anything

Everything was clean & cosy. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Food at restaurant was tasty.

Just a small one. TV signal very poor. Could only watch ABC News channel. Young man came upstairs to help (I was in Room 10), it made little difference. It’s a shame to have a TV in the room that doesn’t have a strong enough signal, for the channels to work. Otherwise, thank you. My stay was very pleasant. 😊

I arrived Christmas Day and the staff was welcoming, friendly and super helpful in getting me settled in. The interior reminds me of vintage Victorian, almost like walking into history, I really admired it. It is clearly well maintained and cared for. There are plenty of restaurants and shops withing walking distance, for some a decent stretch of the legs, but worth it. There is also the option of the pub on site which is excellent, I recommend the steak sandwich - absolutely delicious accompanied by some lovely chips, crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside - perfection in the chip world. My room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and I had a wonderful en suite bathroom - which you do need to request otherwise you will have to use a shared one with other guests. I found it to be excellent value to cost and a very good choice of place to stay.

I think the only criticism I would have is that there is no lift, which is not really a problem as it's only two stories, but if you have heavy luggage or a lot of luggage just plan for that. Also, if you are not a fan of sharing a bath, make sure and get a room with an en suite.

The room was clean. The style of accommodation was good being an older hotel, it had décor that suited the type of building. Although it was an older building, the rooms had some modern amenities such as the aircon, television and the bathroom was updated.

I used the iron and ironing board, but I didn't actually know where it was and had to go searching and found it was not in the room. Information on where to find would be more helpful.

Check in was easy and staff were friendly. The facilities were comfortable and the decor was tasteful. We enjoyed dinner Saturday evening. We chose entrees, but the serves were large enough to satisfy us. The location was ideal as it was an easy walk to the Entertainment Centre.

Being a Saturday evening, there was quite a bit of noise drifting up from the lounge and bar.

Old rustic property however the rooms have been renovated beautifully. Massive shower, bed and all you needed for a one night stay that’s close to the airport.

Only complaint I would have is upon check in it was confusing as to where to actually go- the 3 young girls at the desk took their time to notice me standing there waiting and were quite unprofessional arguing over who ‘had’ to take me up to my room and grab the key to show me. I get it I was young once too but do your job lmao. A lot of doors and stairs to go through to get to the room so would be great if there was an elevator or someone to help take your heavy luggage up for you!

Great location, close to the Airport and easily accessible via public transport. The rooms were spacious and provided all the necessary amenities inside. I booked a shared bathroom room, which for solo travellers or those on a budget is very appealing, with a good amount of main bathrooms with toilets to use without much hassle. I loved how clean and updated the rooms and bathrooms were! They have a straightforward check-in and check-out process, with very good security and after-hours access. The pub downstairs is really nice, with an old Art Deco feel. Nice and quiet too, the staff were super helpful. Highly recommend!

It would be good if they could add a soap tray or shower caddy in the showers for convenience. A swipe card entry would have been a nice touch, but I didn't mind having to use an actual key to open the doors.
