Room was excellently appointed, good size and not over crowded with furniture, very clean and excellently stocked with everything you need, bathroom amenities (really pleased that you didn't have to squeeze soap for Washing hands or shower, very hard when you don't have strong hands.). TV (on swivel), table and chairs for 2, couch with coffee table, etc, condiments including wine and soft drinks (extra cost). Bed very comfortable and even though on the highway, rooms are set back so less road noise.

Could benefit from a little updating, salmon pink is a little old fashioned but did not in any way detract from our comfort.

The Colonial's staff were very friendly & welcoming, and accepted our guide dog without question. Thanks, team - you'd be surprised at the discrimination & arguments we've endured over the past 10+ years travelling with a 4-legged mobility aid. We appreciate your understanding of guide dog legislation. 🙏 We stayed in the 2br family room, which we found to be large, immaculate & well equipped - comfortable beds, great shower pressure, full sized bath, plenty of toiletries provided along with large fluffy towels. The kitchen has plenty of extras for purchase if required. Good sized lounge/dining for relaxing. Each room has large, fully screened opening windows, perfect for those of us who love our fresh air. It was perfect for our o/n stay. We'd definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Staff are first class and will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The proberty is well maintained to a high standard. Wifi, TV and kitchenette facilities are good and will meet most peoples expectations.

For us the bed was too firm, but I acknowledge that you can't please everyone. For those who like a firm bed you'll be happy. But for this pair of old softies we like our bed to be a little more plush. Our daughter has stayed here while on business trips and she loves the firm beds. So there you go.

Lovely warm electric blankets, we jas the family twice. Bedroom we had 3 adults a.d 1 child.and it only cost $40] for all of us for 2. Rights, reality clean,in inviting, wa very friendly reception. FREE WI_ FI .

No Lipton teabags and never enough of these and sugar you need enough tea and coffee travelling over 4hrs each way it's always lovely to arrive and refresh with a nice cup of tea ..Evey motel I've stayed in it's always the same problem, be nice to see regular tea bags _ I find they always have plenty of alcohol in the fridge for people to buy but what about the People who don't drink alcohol and we need to think of our Elders

A lovely stay. Very comfortable. I like the 'mini bar' items that are available simply for convenience. I was upgraded to a family room that was right at the back so there was no road noise at all. The family room meant I could spread out at the dining table with my work too.

The couch was a little uncomfortable to sit on (for my back) but it certainly wasn't a deal breaker.

Exceptionally clean, mini bar, real loose leaf tea, good quality TV with good sound, comfortable mattress, clean bathroom and comfortable lounge, easy access parking.

The pillows let us down and made the night a not very restful one. Three to choose from but high one too high, low one too low and medium too lumpy. Otherwise it would have been perfect. The lighting is a bit dark during the day without using lights. The only other mention would have to be the Saturday night drag racing outside on the main road. Unsure why police would not be on to that quickly, as it was ongoing for more than 3 hours. Not the accommodation's fault of course.

The motel suited our requirements. Access to eateries was good, staff were courteous and helpful.

Access to the bathroom had an incline which might catch someone out. Raised this with the operator who indicated they were aware of the issue but resolving the issue was out of their control. Still happy to rate the venue highly.

Would highly recommend this motel. It was exceptionally clean and maintained. The grounds were also spotless. Plants watered and maintained. Met by a very pleasant lady at reception and puppy :-) Maybe some motels in the area might care to come and have a look at this motel, to see how it should be done. You should be very proud of this motel.

The motel was immaculately presented, so clean and well maintained. The property is beautiful, beds comfortable and easily accessible parking. Bathroom was large and spotlessly clean, our room was also large and spacious.

Unfortunately smokers were smoking outside and we had to walk through their smoke to reach our room and the smoke followed us in... very unpleasant...

Exceptional customer service, we were welcomed with friendly staff and a residence pup who stole the heart of my little one. The rooms are unbelievably clean, no dust in site. Mini bar stocked and small little gestures like make up wipes with a dark towel and chocolate in the coffee mugs. Such a cute, very well maintained motel. We will definitely be back on our next adventure to Bairnsdale.
