Debbie and Graham were amazing hosts of a fabulous property. As soon as we arrived Debbie met us with heaps of information about the property and the surrounding area. The cottage itself is not done justice by the photos, it’s huge, very comfortable and has a lovely view. The area around it is very quiet and just what is needed if you are looking to get out of the rat race and into nature. Debbie let us visit the huge vegetable garden on the property and we picked some lovely fruits and vegetables that we used at dinner time and breakfast. We will definitely be back to visit!

What is there not to like about Down to Earth Farm Retreat. What a beautiful destination. Absolutely stunning. I had organised this getaway for my Mums 70th Birthday for her and Dad to just get away and have some 'me' time. I drove them there and was just in heaven as I was approaching the property. I did not want to leave. My parents had a wonderful time. Debbie and Graham were beautiful hosts. Thank you for taking Mum and Dad to your veggie patch and showing them around your beautiful property. They had a wonderful time. Breakfast was lovely too. Thanks again.

This place is exceptional! The owner is so friendly, the view is INCREDIBLE, and the unit is gorgeous and comfortable. We loved that breakfast was provided and that we had lovely brewed coffee rather than instant!

Debbie greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. She gave us an excellent tour and overview of the amazing property. The night sky is incredible and I would highly recommend turning off the lights and going out to gaze at the stars! My husband is an architect so he was very interested in this amazing eco friendly house! In the morning he went for a walk down to see the veggie garden and to talk to Graham about the features of the house which he really enjoyed! Unfortunately I came down with an unfortunate case of food poisoning (unrelated to the food provided at Down to Earth) and Debbie was so understanding and caring which I really appreciated! As I was unwell, I couldn't eat the breakfast provided but my husband said it was excellent and that the fresh poached apple and pears made by Debbie were a highlight. I would definitely recommend staying at this unique property!

My only regret is that we didn't stay longer and that I was a little too ill to fully enjoy the surroundings, I guess we'll just have to come back :)

The location was fantastic. Quiet with gorgeous outlook over the lake. Friendly hosts. Very clean and warm.

The bed was a little firm for me and being a princess an electric blanket would have been nice but we were never cold.

Down to Earth Retreat is such a peaceful bush setting. The host is ever so helpful, bringing over the BBQ for us to use and showing us the perfect spot to admire the sunset.

An amazing getaway that included a wonderful experience waking up to an amazing view; wandering the property and using some fresh produce to add to the included breakfast; and some amazing stargazing at night. Debbie was very welcoming when we arrived and we will definitely be back!

Unique property in a secluded part of Vic. An extremely quiet and relaxing location that leaves nothing extra needed for clients to enjoy. Great views fron "Lakeview"unit both night and day. Double glazed windows adds to the comfort

Couldn't fault the accomodation and would highly recommend to other travellers. Just off the Great Alpine Road so would appeal to travellers using that route.

Great location at the top of a busy hill with excellent views to Western Port Bay. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We had the two bedroom apartment with a bush outlook. The misty views in the morning were excellent. Our hosts invited us to inspect their veggie garden and sample some crop. A great location to access nearby sites and attractions. The best thing was the silence. There was no traffic noise and it was very dark at night time apart from the stars. We would highly recommend a couple of nights.

Due to the recent rain, there were a few mosquitos around. The loved my ankles.
