For an older style motel, the room was spotlessly clean, all amenities had been updated, including shower and vanity, and were spotlessly clean. The kitchenette and bathroom were in 2 tiled rooms, off the bedroom. There was a comfortable faux leather two-seater couch and a table with two chairs. The bed was comfortable, and the heating worked well. I was toasty and warm inside even though it was winter and very cold outside. This is my second stay here. It presents excellent value for a very reasonable price. If you're not looking for fancy extras but want somewhere clean and comfortable, this is a very good choice. Proximity to the shops is excellent.

Very close to all the shops. An easy walk to Woolies etc. Exceptionally clean, freshly painted and for an older building the bathroom was very good with a lovely new basin. The carpet looked new as well. The room was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. Great value for the price. I’d book there again if coming to the area.

The red coverlet on the bed was the only thing that made the room appear dated. A white sheet as a cover looks much smarter, as is the trend nowadays.

the room was a good size, as was the bathroom. There was a microwave, toaster and kettle and small bar fridge. There were two beds in my room a queen and a single i think. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The motel is close to Woolworths as well as other places like McDonalds, there was a fish and chip shop close by. I was able to park directly outside of my room which was easier for me to unpack my car for the night.

my only recommendation would be to add another bedside table to the room as there was only one which would be inconvenient if there had been another person sharing the room.

The location was great. Easy walk to restaurants, groceries and fast food. Pretty quiet too. The staff bent over backwards to solve our internet problem when we brought it to their attention.

Not much not to like. This place isn't the Ritz, but we didn't pay big money either. The room was larger than expected with an adequate size fridge, microwave and kettle. Wardrobe and table were added bonus that some hotels in this price range don't have.

We liked the neat and tidy rooms with adequate space and doors between main and secondary sleeping areas for privacy. There was a bbq in the common area, so we were able to prepare a nice hot dinner after spending a day on the road. The motel is conveniently located in walking distance to groceries and cafés. Would consider this property again for a stopover.

Our unit had a kitchen-in-bathroom situation (one sink & area for both personal grooming and washing up), which was a bit inconvenient, especially when someone was brushing their teeth while another person wanted to get something out of the fridge... but we were only staying one night to break up a road trip, so not the worst. It was a public holiday, so there was some confusion with reception opening times, but everything was prepared for our arrival; contactless check-in and check-out were a breeze.

Close to railway station and shops. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Very clean. Iron and ironing board supplied Extra blanket and pillows in room Tv worked well, and streaming services enabled. Wifi code for room supplied but I didn't use it.

Basic rooms and facilities, but air-conditioners were being upgraded and replaced the day I left. No shower cap or little soaps and only conditioning shampoo, not separate shampoo and conditioner.

A very pleasant surprise on arrival seeing that the room we had booked had a renovation. Great communication with the owner who made himself available when we arrived at 8pm. Room was fresh, clean and given a well needed update, was CERTAINLY value for money.

Nothing that we didn't like, have stayed at this accommodation many times before and is always a great price in a great location.

I liked the way the bathroom/laundry/kitchen were set up. The air con was on when we arrived, and overall, it was just a wonderful and comfortable experience. The reception desk was very polite, polite and understanding. Staff clearly care for the comfort and needs of their clients.

The door locks were a bit janky, but with the kind help of the staff it was resolved nice and fast.

Not being able to shut out the outside light which filtered in through the bathroom window and into the sleeping area. This was due to there being no door between the kitchenette and bedroom. It wasn't bright, but it prevented the room from being totally dark.

Very efficient check-in; room was spacious; good parking was available; WiFi was good; very good value for money

There was a fair bit of noise from the street (this would not be so bad in rooms that are further from reception)
